“Tile and trims has a great selection of products that I haven't been able to find elsewhere. Additionally they provide a quick, friendly, helpful service. I had an issue with an order (not tiles and trim's fault) and the customer service person responded immediately and resolved the issue. Quick shipping too. I will definitely continue shopping here.”

“Very nice and lively place. We went there for dinner and the pasta dishes, made by their sister place Pronto Pasta, were absolutely amazing. Also the Selekt Spiritz made by the bartender of the Venetian was great, true Venice style. Highly recommended.”

“Newish store.. As a delivery driver I like a quick look at what's in store (apart from free coffee) they've got some great ideas in their showroom, fab bathroom cabinets / mirrors. Nice internal doors too. Delivered here Thursday 1st July. Only place in my memory where one of the office / managers came onto the yard and actually helped by jumping on the forks. I think it was Chris. Well played and thank you.”

“Great shop and staff were so helpful. So many great items will have to pop in again soon. Recommend checking the Lakeland website before visiting if planning a visit over a holiday period. Tried to pop in straight from our train to buy something they had in stock however unfortunately their opening hours on Google weren't updated over the festive period so they closed at 5pm not 5.30pm and we just missed it”

“Charlies has a wide selection of clothing, tools and household items plus a gardening area and more.... Often with top brands and corresponding quality. I pop in from time to time to get a 20kg bag of bird seed, usually the cheapest in the area. Whilst I am there, I do also like to have a good look around at the clothing, footwear etc. They are also great for things like Stihl gardening equipment and spare parts too, with reasonable prices and no delivery costs to the store. Always well worth a look!”

“Amazing service. I forgot to get his name but he was so friendly and chatty. Nothing was too much for him. Food was quick although it was quiet so can't speak for busier times. Food was absolutely gorgeous. I am not a spicy food person but it was so tasty. Portions are huge so was able to take it home in a takeaway box. Coffee was lovely and really enjoyed the ice tea. Boyfriend had the steak which he said was great and he is fussy with food so must be good! 25% student discount also! Will definitely be returning soon thanks!”

“Lovely welcome and easy check in. Our room was gorgeous. Modern, great layout and beautifully cleaned . Large bathroom, big bed, tea, hot chocolate and a cafetiere with proper ground coffee! A comfortable and quiet sleep and a fabulous breakfast included the next morning. Great free parking on site. Set on the river with easy access to river, town and walls. Perfect!”

“Had a Mega Breakfast ordered. Lots of toast, two sausages, two fries eggs, and two rashes of bacon, some fried bread as well, mushrooms and beans. I didn't need any tomatoes, and they brought plenty of butter and some French mustard as requested. Good service. Got chatting to other customers near the front windows and it had a good atmosphere nearing closing time. The toilet was a trek upstairs, but really quirky. Good price. If the sausages were slightly better quality the price would have been higher, so I was happy with my decision anyway. All good. Thank you.”

“I booked 13 rooms at The Pied Bull in Chester for myself and a group of work colleagues, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The welcome on arrival was warm and genuine, and every member of staff we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating (special thanks to the ladies working when I checked in on the evening of the 26/11) The rooms were consistently clean, comfortable, and spacious, with excellent beds and generously sized showers. Everyone in our group commented on how well they slept and how well-maintained the rooms were. The blend of historic character with modern comfort added a special charm that really sets The Pied Bull apart. Breakfast was another standout: high-quality, hearty, and freshly prepared, exactly what we needed to start a busy day. For the standard of accommodation, service, and the central location, the value for money was genuinely impressive. Speaking of location, you couldn’t ask for more and a few of the group said they’d return here if they visit Chester again. Jason”

“Staff were absolutely lovely, the lady could see that we had lots of stuff because we were getting loads of things for uni so she helped us pack it all up and offered for us to leave it in the back and pick it to later with the car. Everyone at the tills was very smiley and nice and the man in the storage at the back was lovely too. Thanks Wilkos!”

“Not the biggest car park though can park in front of boots. A great place to shop with brilliant prices, friendly staff and easy to walk around. Just try to go and non peak times as can get quite busy and the queues can be quite long.”

“Magical!!! They've started the Christmas display & it is literally spectacular. Can't see a Lemax display yet, but the Christmas lights arbour more than makes up for it. Going into the Christmas tree section feels like a grotto in itself! And of course, stunning decorations as always.”

“Been for a roast dinner today , had the roast share platter at £42 and I have to say, it was the nicest roast dinner I have ever eaten!! Absolutely worth every penny and plenty left over so could feed 3 possibly. Great service , great wine !”
