“We were just looking different shops for the bed and mattress for our spare bedroom. We went in Dreams and Michele greeted us very kindly offering drinks and introduced different types of mattresses and base units of bed and showed us where they are. We were so happy with her knowledgeable introduction so we bought whole set of bed frame, mattress,headboard and pillows. We highly recommend!”

“I have been going in here almost since the day they opened. The present manager Mike has done a great job assembling an excellent team. Along with Phil, Jess, James, Gemma and oldie but not mouldy John they give all the customers great friendly service, always with a smile and time for a quick bit of personal chat. It is a pleasure to buy from there, they go out of their way to help and make sure we trades have what we need to do the job. Exchanges and refunds are always smooth and hassle free.. Would all retail stores be so professional and helpful with a personal touch, life would be better. They're a shining example of how it should be done. 5 stars guys!”

“We popped to Hoole a few weeks back and had seen this restaurant and said we'd come back and try it. So we did and oh my days it was so delicious. The portion sizes were huge. There is an option to choose half portions which I thought was a lovely idea and great for lunch times if you didn't want a big meal. We will definitely be coming back”

“We’ve been to Chez Jules in Chester to celebrate our 10th anniversary. And what an incredible experience we’ve had there. It was a great surprise, we had delicious food and Ula who was our waitress delivered an impeccable service, she was extremely friendly and kind. “Had a great evening. The building is beautiful being situated right on the river, but the internal decor is just fantastic, giving real redneck American vibes. From the moment I arrived all of the staff were great. Really friendly and attentive without being over the top and annoying. I had fajitas which were incredible - genuinely tasty! I finished off with a rum milkshake. Not going to lie, I felt like I was going to have a food coma when I left. Really great evening. Great food and great service. Thank you!”

“Ordered a bed from Bensons for Beds. Easy to order online and the delivery drivers - Harris and Vetales were great. They phoned the day before with estimated delivery time and called twice on the actual delivery day to advise of delivery time. Both extremely courteous and polite and even took the bed upstairs when asked. Fantastic service - thank you both.”

“Had an induction hob and extractor fan installed. Very helpful throughout. Advised on what we needed and ensured it was delivered and installed quickly. The induction hob didn't work (due to an issue with our electricity supply - our mistake). Swapped out for one that works off a normal plug with no hassle / extra cost. Parts cheaper than could be found online. Highly recommend.”

Relaxed atmosphere, intimate venue, superb food an explosion of colour and taste and last but by no means least fabulous, friendly, knowledgeable front of house staff. “What a lovely shop with lovely, stylish things and good value too. Everything is well made and just that bit different from anywhere else. Real sense of excitement when going in to look around and some great ideas. The staff are so friendly and couldn't be more helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Range includes furniture, shelving, glassware and etc. Give it try next time you are shopping in Chester.”

“We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen. The quality is brilliant and it looks stunning. The whole process was made easy because the staff were very knowledgeable and supportive and were always available to discuss changes etc. Finance is available too if needed. They don't provide a fitting service but liased with our joiners when needed. I would and have highly recommended MKM Chester for kitchens. Definitely 5 stars!!!!”

“Inspired provided an excellent service on a bathroom. This included changing the layout, with all the unseen drainage changes, to make it much more practical so as to have a much larger shower. The choice of, and quality of the materials, is excellent. The installation was excellent - the main workman who did some heavy work also had a real eye for detail - every thing was done to perfection. It was also a pleasure to have him around and not causing any unnecessary disruption. The work was done to budget and, any unforeseen beneficial work, was done to achieve the final result such that every part of a millimetre stands up to close inspection. I have no hesitation in saying the service provided by all and the final result were excellent. I didn’t give immediate feedback as it is possible that sometimes things can come to light later as to how things might have been done differently. I have had no such issues or thoughts - I’m very pleased to fully recommend Inspired based on my experience - things could not have been done better. Superb.”

“recently had a burger that was an absolute standout. The patty was perfectly cooked—juicy on the inside with a great sear on the outside—and packed with rich, beefy flavour. The bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together, and the toppings were fresh and well-balanced, adding texture without overpowering the meat. Every bite felt indulgent but thoughtfully put together. What really elevated the experience was the service from Lauren Howarth. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making sure everything was just right without being intrusive. Her positive attitude and professionalism added a lot to the overall meal and made the visit even more enjoyable. All in all, it was a fantastic burger paired with excellent service—definitely a meal I’d be happy to come back for.”

We were thoroughly looked after by Cristi and all the staff, never made to wait but not rushed either. It was plain that they really cared about giving us excellent service all evening. “Very much enjoyed a sweet treat and fruit juice on my visit. The service was perfect and all the staff attentive and friendly. The surroundings; a little bit of old fashioned luxury. I was seated at 11.45am and the restaurant was really starting to fill up by 12.15pm so I would recommend booking in advance if possible. The caramel, chocolate and crumble tart shown was heavenly!”

“I visited Chester for the day (night trips) and I was feeling a bit unwell, so decided to go for a day reservation. It was just what I needed! Bed was so comfy, I had the best nap ever. Hotel is quiet and room was lovely, tidy clean, and nicely decorated. Polite and welcoming staff, I'll have Moxy hotels in mind for any of my future trips :)”

“Venue Hire Review: My dad recently passed away and we wanted somewhere private to hold a Celebration of Life with his family and friends. I therefore reached out to a few places to find out what they could offer and enquire about the room and buffet options they had available. The Holiday Inn Chester West replied quite quickly, but most importantly they offered their condolences before going into any kind of sales pitch, which the other companies did not. Harriet sent us a lovely Celebration of Life brochure and said that we were welcome to visit to see the room available, so we arranged to take my mum up a couple of days later. We were extremely impressed with what was on offer for the price and therefore paid the deposit there and then. On the day itself the service provided exceeded our expectations. The room was beautifully decorated and just the right size for our guests. The food was delicious and plentiful and there was a great choice available to suit all tastes. There was a Bluetooth speaker available, so we created a Spotify playlist of some of my dads favourite songs which helped to create a lovely atmosphere and the staff also helped us to set up a photo display that I had created, along with a beautiful memory table. All of the staff were absolutely brilliant and I cannot thank them enough for helping us arrange a lovely Celebration of Life during what was a difficult and emotional time for us all.”

“A friend recommended The Kitchen Company to us as we needed a new kitchen in our house. We found the husband and wife team exceptionally good. Design ideas and 3D visualization was very helpful as you can see the final result. The kitchen units are very good quality with a couple of bespoke items all executed to the highest standard. The quartz worktops are a delight and installed by a friendly team from Ruby Granite. Installation was very professional, completed on time and with real care to get it just perfect.”
