They've always got a constantly changing line-up of real ales on, which is brilliant because there's always something new to try. And the best part? They've got an extensive collection on tap, plus a fridge packed with cans and bottles. Whatever you fancy, chances are they've got it. Service here is spot on too. The staff are genuinely friendly and really know their stuff when it comes to the beers they're serving. Happy to chat and give recommendations if you're not sure what to go for. Honestly, if you're in Upton and fancy a top-notch pint in a relaxed and friendly setting, you really can't go wrong with The Bow Legged Beagle. Highly recommend!”

“A lovely unassuming fine dinning experience in a friendly, relaxed (read unstuffy) environment. Took my mother as a birthday treat for the 3 course Tasting Lunch on a Sat. Started with a Kir Champagne, followed by an amazing little appetizer, which only added to the experience. Fresh made bread like we've never tasted before. A nice glass of wine for us both. The menu is seasonal but we had starters of haddock and pork for me, followed by mains of cod loin and chicken (so succulent). Mum had an apple cheese cake and I, the cheese board, followed by a coffee. All were amazing and not too filling. Service was excellent from all staff from beginning to end. Highly recommended”
