I am particularly grateful for the help and assistance given to me. Last week I was turned away from the “Seamus Heaney Annual Lecture”. I was locking my bike up outside the lecture theatre and a man sneaked up behind me and told me to move my bike elsewhere. I usually place my bike there (I told him) but he insisted. When I’ve had a medical episode and was stuck on the floor, the staff sat with me and gave me anything I needed. They are all so lovely there and make it an accessible experience for me!
