“Called here yesterday and we were so impressed. When we looked inside the tables were either occupied or reserved but we were offered a table in the courtyard at the back. Was a very hot day but we were under big parasols so it was lovely. Our order was taken promptly even though they were very busy and the food was delicious. We had the small fish and chips which was just a nice size for us. The staff were all absolutely lovely and we will definitely be back. Read on another review that you can sit outside when it's cold and they bring blankets, definitely doing that!”

“Gorgeous afternoon tea, served and made by lovely staff. It is extremely reasonable, and you get a full sandwich, a large slice of cake of your choice, and a huge scone with jam and cream. Then, on flowing tea or coffee £14 PP. Absolutely gorgeous food and a lovely afternoon.”

“We have visited the cafe now several times and each visit has always been to a good standard. The toilets are very clean and the theatre which is in the same building is superb which is ideal for booking some of the excellent shows that appear at the Floral Pavilion.”

“Attractive venue just a short way from the front and so much more interesting than the franchise offerings. Menu offers a good range of interesting dishes, all with a twist at a very reasonable price. The "115 Thing" a dish of ox tail stew with sausage and mustard mash was outstanding. Puddings were also very good and service was efficient and friendly. This small restaurant is very well worth a visit, and very good value for money.”

“The best iced lattes and sweet treats ever! We love to pop in after a dog walk for a drink and a cake. Sausage rolls are absolutely fantastic too!! Everything is always freshly made. Staff are always so nice and polite. Love that this is my local coffee shop!”

“Me and my family absolutely love this cafe. We enjoyed it when the previous owners had it, but since the new owners have taken over, it's really taken it to the next level. All the staff are so friendly, the food is amazing (especially the homemade quiche) and it's always a great atmosphere.”

“My Mum has been in today with my little girl (4yrs old) as a treat for lunch. Years ago, when i was that age, Mum would take me on occasion and it sounds like it's still a lovely place. Mum was pleased with the size of even the child portions and my little girl was made to feel special by the lady serving them which has made my day. Great atmosphere, value for money and family friendly.”

Ordered Birria tacos, Diablo burger and some tapas for the table and was honestly one of the best meals me or my partner have ever eaten out - silence at the table bc we were enjoying it so much that didn’t want to stop to have a chat hahaha. Absolutely 10/10 can’t wait to come back (again)”

We arranged for our end of season golf presentation to be held here (24 of us) and from the minute we arrived it was so welcoming and friendly. Tina and the team have this place running brilliant and with great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food and drinks were flowing. The place is a mix of young and older people but all in very high spirits.”
