“Lou is absolutely amazing, always patient with the kids and accommodating, she was incredible when I grew my hair for charity with the maintenance trims etc., but she's always been great with whatever way I decide to have my hair. I cannot recommend Kingsway Barbers enough!”

“The Indian omelette is worth visiting this restaurant for. The interior is a vibe with a blend of Indian and chic colours, pictures and plants. The service is always extremely helpful and you're always greeted with a smile! Would recommend the green coriander chutney with the Indian omelette too, possibly one of my fave things to get here. The sweet breakfasts are also yummy with the ability to change my order easily (lactose allergy but I wanted to try a range of flavours) and the pancakes look great. I've had a range of things off the menu and would certainly take visitors with me when returning.”

“The selection of Asian foods available is just very good. Items are not cheap but what is these days? Plus some items are imported so it is to be expected. Overall pretty good, staff have always been nice.”

“Took my 4 year old son for a cut for the first time here today. He is autistic and hates having it done normally, so it’s usually a horrible experience for him and us. However, Hayley was great with him and so patient. There we no tears at all and this allowed her to do a great cut. Thank you again”

“I had started on my way home from Wrexham to Anglesey when I remembered I needed some sheep feed. I Googled and found details of this hidden gem What a fantastic place! Great selection of products for smallholders, horse and pet owners, and they also had an array of craft items for sale behind the counter. 25kg baga here seemed to be around the same price as 20kg bags in my local Wynnstay. The H J Lea Oakes brand of feed sold here is excellent quality too.”

“Can’t believe I’ve only just discovered this cute cafe. A nice selection of vegan food in a chilled out environment. The owners were lovely and welcoming, to top it off, they played Pokémon go with us ;) I will definitely be coming here again. Just outside the centre but gets you out for a nice walk in the park.”

“An inauspicious start to what could become an incredible journey and personal challenge, that can take anything from six weeks to six years. We started here on a very cool morning in March 2015, several hours later we limped into the Llinegar Inn - some 20 miles away - in Ffynnongroew; blistered, aching and exhausted. That was Day 1 of our Wales Coast Path walk. In August 2021 we walked into Chepstow on the final leg of completing the entire Wales Coast Path - all 870 miles of it (six years and a global pandemic notwithstanding). I hope some of you reading this will be similarly inspired to undertake one of Wales' greatest and most underestimated attractions. You will not regret it if you do.”

“This pub is a gem. The food was excellent. We particularly liked the simple food on the menu. Classic English dishes which are difficult to find. The best of the five pubs we ate in in Chester. I am not sure why it doesn't appear at the top of the lists for pub food in Chester.”

“I have visited Lewis’ a couple times last year and always been very happy with the food and service. Met my mum there this morning for coffee and thought this would be all I was having after deciding to do veganuary. Very pleasantly surprised to find that they had some vegan cake options, so I had some of their vegan carrot cake. The tastiest cake I have had in a long time. Very satisfied. Service was brill as always, the ladies that work in there are always warm and welcoming. Thank you :)”

“Went to the plant hunters fair and walked around the wonderful gardens. The fair had about 12 specialist plant stalls with some rare plants for sale at a decent price. The gardens were first class with three sections, a tropical type garden then a formal water section and finally a wonderful prarie meadow. The views over Cheshire were superb and the gardens were outstanding.”
