“Visited with a younger relative who had an amazing time. The play frame and rooms were clean and inviting. The play frame was actually really impressive and my daughter went around it with her cousin. Coffee and Matcha were a hit with us (absolutely loved the range of non dairy milks which were not an additional charge). I particularly liked how much calmer it was than other play places we have visited which we usually leave due to overwhelm- even though it was fully booked. The sensory room is a brilliant addition. Staff were attentive and kept the place clean and also on hand to help. We received a friendly welcome, goodbye and service was great when we wanted drinks. No complaints at all.”

“My son and I had food this evening. Allthough we arrived just after 9pm and closes at 10. We were not rushed. Was served by a lovely, friendly guy, called Scott. He was so helpful and asked us what we prefer, suggested different platters, and explained the differences clearly. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent customer service. Scott is a credit to this restaurant. I would even go as far as saying the customer service we received from Scott has been the best I have had in a long time. Thanks. We will be going again. “I would like to take a moment to highlight the exceptional service I received during my visit to the Boots store in Aintree, Liverpool on Sunday, June 29th. As I was browsing perfumes ahead of my upcoming holiday, (duty free). I was greeted by a young gentleman named Finley. Although I had no intention of making a purchase that day, Finley’s enthusiasm and professionalism left a lasting impression. Finley demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge about the entire YSL Libre perfume range. Despite my initial uncertainty, he expertly guided me through the options, explaining the unique characteristics of the Libre collection and even the newly released "Flames & Roses" fragrance. I was particularly struck by his ability to convey his passion and understanding and indepth knowledge of the products, especially considering his young age of just 16. Having come from a cold sales background myself, I am well aware of the value of genuine customer engagement. It is rare to find someone so skilled at building rapport with customers, and even rarer to encounter someone with such natural charisma and character. Finley’s approach was warm, informative, and never felt pushy he made the entire experience enjoyable. Thanks to his thoughtful guidance, I ended up purchasing a £105 fragrance. I left the store feeling satisfied and confident in my decision, which is a testament to Finley’s ability to make a sale without exerting any pressure. I would like to commend Boots for hiring such a rare talent. People like Finley are a true asset to your team, and I am certain he will continue to thrive in any future customer-facing roles. “Popped in to the pub today to try it as it’s under new management - really nice family, very welcoming and drinks were good. Kitchen opening soon so haven’t tried the food yet but we spoke to Alfi who will be managing the kitchen and is a really nice guy with great plans for food from next weekend. Also dog friendly - they made a big fuss of our dogs and they had the wood burning stove lit which created a lovely cozy place to stop on our walk. We will definitely be back to try the food and some more drinks. We hope the wider community supports them as well as this used to be a great pub on the canal to stop at and they really want to return it to that - we wish them success and happiness at The Slipway.”

There is toilet facility inside store and excellent pharmacy, plus cafe if you are hungry. Friendly staff in store and easy to navigate top quality fresh food and range of products like milk, bread and eggs.”
