“Had a great stay here. Room was spacious enough for three people. The building is right next to the Overground station, but the windows point the opposite way, so it is not a problem. There are several cafes (with free wifi) on the ground floor. We could leave our luggage for free at reception outside check-in hours. Room: spacious (for London), clean, good towels and bed linen, USB charger slots, electrical tea can and cups in-room, dark blinders, large TV. All in all great value for the money. Highly recommend!”

“I've just checked out this morning and have to say the overall experience I had during my one night stay was very good. Much better than I had expected having read the recent reviews. Even taking into consideration the budget price, the room was a good size, clean, the bed was comfortable. The dinner and breakfast, though not as good as Premier Inn's, were adequate for the price and the staff on reception and in the dining area were polite and attentive. Not much to improve on in all honesty. Thank you.”

“This was an amazing location -- just a five minute walk to the Victoria Coach/Train station! The price was good and the clerk was friendly! Check in was quick and easy, our room was comfortable, the towels were soft and the shower was warm. Breakfast included a coffee machine (with choice of several drinks) as well as an assortment of yogurt, cereal, juice, pastries, cheese, meat, and fruit....in an attractive breakfast space. We had a quiet and relaxing evening, a good breakfast and would consider this hotel on our next London stay!”

“Stayed here for three nights. Sherrie checked us in, gave us amazing service whenever we asked for things. Asked her for extra coffee pods one night and she said she would bring it to the room. We fell asleep but woke up in the morning to the pods sitting on our doorstep. Little things like this really make your stay. She was amazing. I hope Travelodge appreciate what amazing staff they have at this hotel.”

“It’s a decent hotel if you’re in the area . Parking 8£ get there early , I drive a pick up and parking was sufficient! Chap at the front desk is brilliant and helpful . Location is brilliant for the area , card machine wasn’t working at the restaurant but we sorted that and they were very helpful. Didn’t eat any food but the beer was decent ! Room was fine for the price , it was clean and bedding is good ! Fire alarm went off for some reason but could just be a fault”

“Great location for a good price, walking distance from King's Cross and the city. Very hospitable staff. Rooms comfortable and very quiet, didn't hear any traffic noise. Some communal areas could do with refurbishment, the reception area was pristine. Would book again!”

“Great stay at the hotel which was left for visiting the US embassy ( only a 5 mins walk away) service was great and friendly. Room was clean and very comfortable. I had a good night sleep here. The hotel is located next to a few bars which can cause a bit of noise disruption depending on which side your room is but luckily the noise subsided by 10pm.”

“I booked this last minute and the team was extremely accommodating of my needs. I got to check in earlier than expected because I had an emergency. There are no elevators BUT you do not need to carry your luggage upstairs which was a plus. The reception is always available 24/7. For a business traveller I think this is perfect. “We went for a early dinner . The staff was very friendly and she guided us on the quantity etc to order . All the items we ordered were well cooked and tasty : Crispy Aromatic Duck , Chicken in Cashew , Chicken Noodles and Prawn in Kong Po ( I think)”

“We had a great stay for 4 nights. Room was cosy and clean and it has all needed facilities (except of teaspoons but we received them in reception). Staff was friendly and helpfull. Localisation was really convenient: less than 30 minutes walk to Westminster Abbey or Big Ben and just 5 minutes to Victoria Coach Station. I highly reccomend this hotel if you want to have comfort stay in a reasonable price. I have to admit that I've never slept in such a comfortable bed!”

“Reception staff are extremely efficient and friendly nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is very clean , basic ,but a good price for the quality and there is ample parking. The entrance from parking is shared with flats and its appearance is a bit grubby, but don’t be put off. Thank you”

This hotel has a great location, close to Kings Cross. I have stayed here many times now, when I come to London for a few days and always find it warm, clean and comfortable. I especially like the fact that the bathrooms have a bath, as well as a shower, which is a bonus in a hotel these days. Reception staff are always helpful and the breakfast is good. “One of the cheapest dorm that I've found, initially for 4 nights stay but i extended for almost a week! Why? first, it's affordable & cheap. second, I'm pretty satisfied with the basics provided in the hostel: decent room & toilets, dining area, cooking space and free simple breakfast!! third, staff are pretty kind. fourth, i felt safe & comfortable inside the room! the location is also pretty close to both New Cross Gate train station & Marquis of Granby bus stop, so yea it's pretty accessible with public transport. there's also small park nearby, and few halal places nearby. it looks pretty meh & somewhat eerie from the outside, but yeah overall the inside of the hostel - are all pretty decent. trust me. to girl travellers, do let them know you need a female dorm else you'll get the mixed dorm ? ps: good for budget traveller, price might be differ and bit higher during weekend/festive/holiday. but still considering the price + hv breakfast, i still consider it's affordable. pss: DO NOT EXPECT EXTRAVAGANT STUFF AS I MENTIONED EARLIER, it's a decent place to stay. will definitely come here again if I'll be looking for a pretty decent place in future!”
