“For an affordable and stress free stop on a long journey, this hotel is really all you need. We received a friendly welcome from Claude, the room was comfortable and clean, with nice Dove toiletries, and breakfast in the morning was tasty and included in the room rate. Parking was free and we didn't notice any motorway noise.”

“We had a lovely dinner last night at DNA Steak and Grill in Towcester. We were a table of four and everything was spot on — the food was delicious, especially the steaks, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service made it even better. Huge thanks to Elena, Zuza, Ella and Alys ❤️ — all of them were amazing, so friendly and attentive the whole evening. One of the best spots in town — we’ll definitely be back soon!”

“Popped in for lunch and had a lovely meal. Highly recommend the mushrooms on toast, and the chips were smashing. Slight problem with the battered fish, but the staff were very apologetic, and happy to put things right :) nice touch that the chef also came out to check in with us. P.S. “This is my second time going here now after hearing all about the amazing vegan options they have, and it does not disappoint. Absolutely amazing food with loads of options for all diets, we got the vegan fish and chips and the classic burger and it was delicious! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere and interior is so cosy and pub-like. Loads of drinks and draught options. And it's all served so quickly. We can't recommend it enough. It is quickly becoming our new favourite pub.”

“Popped into the Crown today for a drink. We hadn't planned to eat, but the food being served looked too good to miss. The ladies behind the bar were very accommodating and soon prepared us a table despite them being busy already. The food was hot, delicious and a perfect portion size. The beef was exquisite! The service overall was brilliant and we were made to feel very welcome by everyone.”

“Went to the Four Pears for a business lunch yesterday and had an amazing steak! It was cooked to perfection and the only problem was I wanted more! I had to leave for a meeting but the person I was with had a sticky toffee pudding that he said was divine. Definitely go here if you haven’t already.”

“after living here for 2 years i can honestly say that we had a wonderful experience renting from richard. if we had any issues he was very quick to resolve them and provided ample time for letting us know when anything would be being done to the house. as students we were very cautious with things surrounding renting property and such but richard eased these worries and looked out for us while we were under his lease. the house its self is amazing, it felt more like a home than student accomodation which i think lead the group we were with becoming closer and gave us a more chilled out atmosphere. the property is good all year round however in the summer was where it really shined with ample space for our group to spend time together while also being close to large parks for activities. overall i think myself and the rest of our group had a great time living hear and i hope that i can find a place in the future that can feel just as homely. :)”

“We held my brother’s wedding celebration at The Woolpack Inn this afternoon and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We wanted a relaxed, family-style buffet for a small wedding gathering, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was far better than we expected, plentiful, beautifully presented, and with a real touch of luxury. The service was outstanding; every member of staff was polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble, and every little detail was looked after. A small issue arose during the afternoon, and it was dealt with kindly and professionally, a real credit to the team. Special thanks to Dan, the manager, who was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and so helpful on the day itself. We would highly recommend The Woolpack Inn for any small celebration. They helped make our family day truly special, and we’ll definitely be back soon to dine in the restaurant.”

“We have been going to Thai Modern for years. They provide excellent quality every time. We love every single dish there. They are super clean, and the atmosphere feels like you are in Thailand. We used to go there for the Sunday buffet, but unfortunately, they don't do it anymore. Highly recommended. It's one of the best restaurants in Milton Keynes!”

“Drove down to Northampton as I had magistrate appointment, it's conveniently located less than 5 minutes walk away from the courts, perfect lunch break chill out, it does state its a members only club but they were kind enough to let me play without as I was a passing visitor, good layout and decent tables, if I lived closer I would definitely attend more often.”

The venue itself is a hidden gem — spacious, welcoming, and perfectly set up for parties, weddings, and special occasions. The layout made it easy to create a lively dance floor, while the bar and seating areas kept guests comfortable throughout the evening. The atmosphere was electric from the start, and the crowd were up for a great time. I played a mix of the couple’s favourite tracks, including Pink Pony Club, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Mr Brightside, Dolly Parton classics, Macarena, and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Every song had people singing, laughing, and dancing all night long. The staff at Duston Conservative Club were professional, friendly, and incredibly supportive, ensuring the night ran without a hitch. It’s the perfect venue for anyone looking to host an event with a great community feel, fantastic facilities, and plenty of room to celebrate in style. I’d happily return to DJ here again.”
