Its like they understand the customers so well. The energy of this place just matches the vibration of your energy. Its in fact something amazing. In such a busy city like London... we need places like this where we can just run to and rest for a while, putting our thoughts together, wether taking notes or sketching or just doing nothing really. “Hilarious. The staff are wearing what looks like security cameras. I was sat near a couple that were having a loud and drunken argument. An old man was just staring at me from his pint of I assume some guest ale, then averted his gaze when I stared back. Staff member who took my order was the newest, poor thing looked suitably overwhelmed. 10/10 would visit again..”

“We reserved a vip table and an afterparty with a deposit in advance. Great experience, amazing sound system. Excellent service, I would especially like to praise the person who took care of our table. There was a small problem when entering the afterparty, but the management quickly solved it.”

“Absolutely Amazing Entertainer - Highly Recommend! I had Richie Rich for my child’s birthday party, and he was fantastic from start to finish! The kids were completely captivated laughing, dancing, magic and fully engaged the entire time. It’s not easy to keep a group of energetic children entertained, but Richie made it look effortless. What really stood out was his ability to connect with the children in such a fun and genuine way. He was full of energy and even the adults were impressed! It was wonderful to see all the children and even parents included made to feel special. Thank you for making the day so memorable. “My daughter celebrated her 10th birthday with 8 of her friends and it was the best party we ever had. All of this was because of Godiva and Grace. I was so chilled as they kept the girls well entertained. They were tidy and friendly. It felt like I had friends over! I would absolutely recommend Glitter Pop for a pamper party. As it is located within a residential village, not many people realise it is actually open to the general public for brunch, lunch and dinner. (As someone who eats Gluten Free, my needs were catered for really well and I was reassured about the ingredients in the dish and the preparation process.)”

“We hired the Electric Barge for our wedding reception and were absolutely blown away by how helpful and thoughtful the team was throughout the entire process. From our very first enquiry, through to planning catering with specific dietary needs, and on the big day itself, we felt completely supported. Their patience, friendliness, and generosity turned what could have been a stressful experience into something easy and joyful. With 58 guests on board, the barge felt spacious, giving everyone room to mingle and dance, and enough seating for those who needed it. The route itself was beautiful, passing through wonderful scenery and landmarks. On arrival, guests were welcomed with beautifully presented sharing platters generously portioned and high quality produce. Halfway through, fish and chips were delivered on board at Camden; again, portions were great, everything arrived seamlessly, and it was all served piping hot. The bar was very well stocked, and every member of staff went out of their way to make the day feel special. We opted for the premium drinks package, which gave guests unlimited cocktails, spirits, prosecco, and more. Even with that, and the hire fee, the total was still less than half of what some local pubs had quoted us. Knowing that our booking also supported the charitable efforts for the Floating Classroom made it even more meaningful. If you’re looking for a unique, welcoming, and brilliantly run space for a party or event, we couldn’t recommend the Electric Barge more highly!”

“Tucked away along a quiet stretch of the Regents Canal in Islington’s eastern edge, Caravel is a great kitchen offering wonderful meals in a cozy canal boat. The dining room is big enough to accommodate quiet couples sharing a romantic dinner or a small group having a festive night out. They’re not reinventing the wheel here, but they are serving generous portions of exquisitely prepared food. Excellent service too.”

“We have family who lives in London and have visited at least 10 times over the past 10 years and have eaten at a great many restaurants and pubs. The meal we had tonight at The Windsor Castle was the best we have had in London. The cauliflower and chicken appetizers were both done gluten free to accommodate my daughter and were outstanding. My wife's fish and chips were perfectly crispy outside and moist inside and my lamb rump roast and all 4 sides could have been from a fine dining restaurant costing more than twice as much. I will be telling our family about it and would highly recommend it.”

“Another great, family-run, East London pub. Again, Friday lunchtime on the last day of (dry) January, so relatively quiet. Three cask ales on - my pint of Wandle (£4.60) was gorgeous. The pies & mash looked great - must try next time. Alleyway outdoor seating for when the weather finally improves! Pubs like these are little gems that need supporting.”

“The only downside is they don’t have more tables!!! Make sure to book ahead because this place is always PACKED. And for good reason. I’ve been twice, once without my kids and once with and, wow. Both times have been spectacular. The food is exceptional. I’ve had the rump steak with chips before and, this time, we opted for the grill box for two. I was worried it would be a normal “London” portion (overpriced and small) but we split it between myself, my husband, and our two toddlers and we still struggled to finish it. I would easily and happily recommend Bife to friends and family and have come here to write a glowing review to help their business (not that they need another one!). By the way, the staff were fantastic with our kids. They have high chairs, changing tables, and were so sweet with our kids. Something we always love and so appreciate.”

“I really enjoyed my visit last night. I thought my prawn biryani was delicious, and cooked in just about the right amount of oil, not too little and not too much. What has impressed me is that when I asked if I could have a small side salad, (which was not on the menu), they said yes. Now that really is service. What I also sensed is that the staff seemed relaxed and happy. So all in all a lovely experience. One of my friends ordered a starter, I've forgotten the name, sounded like Dom sum, miniature veggie rolls with a spicy sauce, but I might be wrong. That too I thought was very good.”
