“The only place opened for breakfast this early that we could find. Walked all the way from seven sisters for breakfast. Quaint and simple spot, amazingly cheap breakfast. Spent only 5.6 for 2 as we have small stomachs. Came with coffee or choice of tea, wish more breakfast places opens this early”

    Pistachios in the Park

    ★★★★☆ 4.4

“Just amazing. Stopped by for breakfast coming from Bexley including a "small" English which was a good plateful by any standards, and the Tuna Priest Club was absolutely divine - the three big layers is a meal in itself and will keep you going all day. Great quality food for an absolute steal anywhere let alone the leafy south east London enclave of Hither Green. A refreshing change to too many places that take pleasure in charging you over the odds for average food. Staff are all pleasant and super efficient. Do have a stop off if you are ever passing through the area, it's also definitely worth coming out your way from anywhere surrounding, Manor Park is a lovely little oasis.”

    Coffee Break Expand LTD London

    ★★★★☆ 4.4

“Coffee Break feels like it hasn't moved forward from 2005, but in the best way possible. The decor is full of black and white photos of old movie stars (Charlie Chaplin, Marylin Monroe, James Dean, etc) and the corner television was running 90's music videos the entire time I had my breakfast. And the breakfast- It was beautiful. I ordered a Small English Breakfast and the portions were exactly what I needed. Don't worry, they also had a Full English. But the Small was a single egg, sausage, 2 bacon, a perfectly fried hashbrown, beans, and toast. For someone like me who loves English Breakfast but would like to move at some point later in the same day this was a great set. The service here was wonderful as well. My own plate came out perfectly but when a table nearby had a cheeseburger come out with less cheese than expected the reply from the waitress was simply, "of course, no worries, more cheese" and more cheese was added (as well as the requisite sauces). The Mediterranean and special fares are also worth trying out. The special is a Lentil Soup as I write and it smells wonderful. Overall a perfect spot just off the main road in Wood Green, and perfect for breakfast and lunch in a much quieter spot than trying more popular cafes down the high street.”

“I had a great stay at the Premier Inn Hub in Farringdon. The location is excellent — just a short walk from Farringdon Station and surrounded by great cafés, restaurants, and bars. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and very well-designed for a city stay. The room was compact (as expected), but incredibly efficient, with everything I needed: a comfortable bed, smart controls for lighting and temperature, and good soundproofing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and smooth. Would definitely stay again — perfect for solo travelers or couples looking for a clean, affordable, and central London base.”

Room very clean and comfortable bed, love the fairy showers, smoothing and soft. Breakfast deal it’s amazing, a little morning buffet where we can find a bit all you can eat. There is a water dispenser outside where we can fill our bottles, great idea. Silence and sleeping night for middle of Bankside location. “We had such a wonderful time at Bafarat Cafe, it was an impromptu visit and I am so glad we popped in. The cakes were so delicious, coffee was also good and the people serving so lovely. I am so glad we discovered it and can't wait to visit again! I love hazelnuts, so the Paris Breast was my obvious choice. A perfect balance of nutty, creamy, crunchy and salty flavours! Thank you so much!!!”

“A full English in East London for a tenner in 2024?! Someone pinch me! What a delicious hidden gem in East Ham! Why it was empty at 9:30am is beyond belief, but hey, no complaints from me. Coffee (delicious, I must say) and toast included as well. There's gotta be a catch somewhere, right? I've been back a few times since discovering this place, and the owners have been incredibly polite, with the food spot-on every time. Thank you, Pop-In Cafe!”

“Very nice standard of rooms, large and clean. Very quiet, especially in inside rooms away from the road. Breakfast was good but as it wasn't busy it was sat under the heaters waiting so didn't feel as fresh as it could have. Bus stop outside or a 10 min walk to the Tube. Staff were pleasant and I will certainly stay again. Good value at the time of booking as had an offer on.”

“For years, Golden Grill has been a staple in the community, serving up some of the best kebabs and Turkish flavours. With an incredible management team that keeps everything running smoothly, this place has built a well-earned reputation for quality, consistency, and great service. Their chicken shish kebab is a must-try—perfectly grilled, tender, and packed with flavor. It’s always cooked to perfection, making it a go-to for anyone craving a delicious, satisfying meal. But what truly sets them apart is their homemade chili sauce—the perfect balance of heat and flavor that takes every bite to the next level. The sides here are just as impressive. From creamy tzatziki to rich, flavorful houmous, everything is fresh and made with care. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a full meal, you’ll find generous portions and incredible taste at an affordable price. If you’re looking for a great local spot to skip cooking and enjoy an amazing dinner, Golden Grill is the place to go. Friendly service, unbeatable flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere—it’s no surprise this place has been thriving for years!”

“Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere for brunch. For me this place is a little gem as, since I moved to the area, I struggled to find a brunch place where they offer less "traditional" (and greener) breakfast options, finally I found it and I love the homemade hash browns with avocado and feta cheese! The park view is lovely and adds to the experience! Will definitely go back.”
