“Crem Kitchen absolutely blew me away. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy — the perfect setting for a Sunday roast. The host greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel right at home. Nothing was too much trouble; every request was met with kindness and care. And the food — wow. The roast dinner was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked meat, crisp yet fluffy roast potatoes, rich gravy, and all the trimmings done to perfection. You can really taste the love and attention that goes into every dish. I left feeling full, happy, and already planning my next visit. Crem Kitchen is a true gem — I can’t recommend it enough!”

“We love this little family restaurant. Whenever we visit family in Brentwood from our home on the South Coast we try to eat here. It always feel’s homely. We have young grandchildren and they enjoy the pizzas very much. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and service always excellent . We are looking forward to our Christmas visit very much. .”

“The best restaurant in London imo. We ordered so many dishes, and not a single one let us down (okay maybe the sheep milk ice cream was a bit more testing)which is actually quite rare. Favourite was definitely the Raw Hereford Rib, Hen of the Woods & Ramson Capers. Despite how good the food is, the restaurant feels casual and not pompous which is nice.”

“Have lived in the area for years and thankfully made it before I moved - lived up to all expectations! The service was incredible - the staff were so lovely (we got to change tables so my dad didn’t have to sit on a chair without a back, they replenished our water many times without us even noticing, all food on time but never rushed). All the food we had was tasty, with the steak on the bone the standout. For a local mid-price point restaurant, you cannot ask for better.”

“Absolutely fresh and delicious Italian food! We had the special of the day fresh scallops, which came served on beautiful shells and were very obviously extremely fresh. I could literally taste every one of the 36 egg yolks in the homemade fettuccine dish, the pasta was so delicate. And the beef cheeks were soft enough to melt in your mouth. Great vibe here, and the service was impeccable. We felt really tended to by our experienced server.”

“Really impressive food! I had the octopus starter, and to my surprise, it was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend had the calamari starter and it was the best I've ever had by a mile. The only time I've ever had calamari that wasn't even remotely rubbery - fantastic! The seafood risotto was just what I needed and the Gavi Di Gavi wine was splendid. I will definitely be returning.”

“A small and cozy little spot with a lovely atmosphere. I ordered the pistachio sauce pasta – it was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. My friend had the creamy mushroom pasta, which unfortunately turned out to be quite salty. Despite that, we still really enjoyed the place overall. The charm and ambiance made it a great experience, and we'd definitely consider coming back to try other dishes.”

“I did my monthly dinner in August here. What a delightful, quaint little place in the courtyard facing J Sheekey as well as backstage Wyndham Theatre. An actor came out, in between shows in a robe and matching slippers for a smoke and to sign someone’s autograph. There were 7 of us. Food and drink were really good and good value for money. The staff were extremely accomodating and attentive. We were all in awe of the place.”

“A hidden gem just off Oxford St. This is my favourite wine bar in the city. Lovely quiet spot set off the busyness of Oxford St. Staff are always lovely, great wine and champagne menu and a lovely shop. Loved this place for years and it’s been consistently great. A perfect stop for a shopping break!”

“A lovely meal at High Timer where the food is excellent. Personally I had the cod which was very tasty but most in our party had steak which I was told was delicious. We dined outside on a glorious summers evening and watched the full moon pass the Shard. Starters was smoked salmon and the desert was a superb malva pudding. There is a wide choice of food to suit your taste but if you prefer the taste of South Africa you will not be disappointed. The wine cellar has a large selection of wines and the ambience of the restaurant is subtle African. A very nice night out in the heart of the city with superb views along the Thames.”

“You know when you don’t want to share a ‘find’ in case the masses embark and spoil the essence of a place, well that’s Porte Noire in a nutshell! Just had a great eve with superb food and drink at Porte Noire. Had the Xmas set menu and it was excellent and all on a Tuesday night! And don’t be afraid to have the house carafe of red wine from Bordeaux. It was delicious. Wish I had more time (and budget) to sample the rest of the extensive wine menu which looks to be around one of the best in London.”

“Super lovely and welcoming staff! I got the brisket pita and swapped sour cream for hummus. Was wonderful! I loved the cheese and meat combo, however would love for the meat to be more juicy! Their hummus is good, not the best in camden market, but the combo of my pita was 10/10!”

“I was hesitant upon entering this cafe but oh my gosh, I finally come to the realisation that you should never judge a book by its cover. Upon entering the cafe, I was greeted right away. Then and there, I thought this service is better than novikov and sexyfish combined. Adding to that, I got myself a coffee. Tasted like sweet clouds oozing down my oesophageas and settling in the unseen gaps of my belly. All jokes aside, coffee was amazing, service was amazing, and price was perfect, would defo recommend!”

The atmosphere was lively the evening we were there with live music and a launch of the festive menu. The Inn at Maybury is always a good choice for drinks or dinner. We will be back!”
