Comfortable accommodation in Welling

“I thought this place was a really good find! Located opposite the hospital, 10-15 walk from Guildford centre. I stayed in a single room, as I just needed somewhere to put my stuff overnight. The room is a standard single room size enough for a single bed, hanging space for clothes and a small desk and chair. . They provided tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a robe. The robe was needed as I had a shower room to myself, but was located down the hall (also remember to fetch slippers) Luckily though, it was very quiet when I stayed and only saw one other guest. The hotel itself is clean, nicely decorated with nice fittings. The shower room was a bit small, but couldn’t fault the power shower! Again lovely and clean. The room was also well presented and good value for money. The lady at reception was really welcoming and friendly. Also to note the doors don’t lock by themselves so make sure to take your key with you and lock doors behind you when you leave your room. I didn’t have food here, as my stay was really short but the menu seemed nice. Overall a pleasant stay and great value for money!”

“Very nice standard of rooms, large and clean. Very quiet, especially in inside rooms away from the road. Breakfast was good but as it wasn't busy it was sat under the heaters waiting so didn't feel as fresh as it could have. Bus stop outside or a 10 min walk to the Tube. Staff were pleasant and I will certainly stay again. Good value at the time of booking as had an offer on.”

“This place is absolutely perfect! Our vrbo got cancelled on the day we arrived in London and thankfully Sanctum came up at the last minute at a reasonable price and had a lot to offer. The room was bright and spacious with a full kitchen and there was groceries right around the corner and a train across the street.”

The breakfast buffet is very good with lots of different options. The location is super convenient for most tourist attractions. The Waterloo station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.”

“Given it's location it is very quiet and the bed was super. So the main criteria of a good night's sleep was achieved. Good connections via Limehouse DLR and local buses. The yurt cafe is very good and does light meals and drinks during the he day. The breakfast is very good and was included in the price. Its continental rather than a fry up - but very nice. Wouldn't hesitate on booking again. Nice NOT to have a TV in the room”

“Been here twice with my boyfriend, and looking forward to coming back soon. The facilities are great, the rooms are nice and big and the food at the Ellis restaurant is always outstanding. Since going there again, the supplement charge has risen though, but the quality of the food is fantastic. The spa treatments are also great and very relaxing. Recommend for a getaway!”

“Our two cats were very well cared for at Treetops. The staff are friendly and efficient, and seem to care about the cats they're looking after. On dropping ours off I saw where they were going to be for the week and I was impressed that it was spotlessly clean. A great local cattery.”

“Hidden gem If your anything like me, I tend to type into google ‘hidden gems’ then the area when looking for places to eat. Well this is a hidden gem, probably known to the Bayford community and now me. I drive past the bakers arms twice a day. Each time I do, something else catches my eye and I think to myself, I have to come here. So, today I was driving home from work and thought let me see what the name is. As I carried on home I thought to myself i’m coming back here tonight. Its now or never. I got home, got changed and grabbed my partner and left for the Bakers Arms. I had not googled this place or looked it up online, i just knew the name and location. All I can say is wow! As soon as we walked i we where greed so kindly by Martin and walked around to the dining room. The dining room was cosy, very well presented and clean. We both had the lasagne and it was amazing. The flavours burst in your mouth and where lasting, even the chips we ordered on the side where perfectly crisp. Both my partner and I rate our food out of 10 at home and in restaurants I can say i have never got past a 7.5. Today was the the first time I have ever heard him say a meal is a 10 and then change it to an 11. From hospitality, location and food, the Bakers Arms is a must visit. It should be in the class of a hidden gem. Im glad i followed my instincts today and got experience their venue. Thank you to both Martin and Bev for being a great host and providing impeccable food. My Partner is still talking about the lasagne now so thank you for making a lasting impression on him. We look forward to visiting again very soon. All the best Georgina and Charlie”

“We chose to stay here for a weekend in the ready tents. The glamping tents were well equipped with fridge, hob, kettle, toaster etc. It also had bunk beds and a double bed perfect for family of 4 or 5. The sleeping areas were great with blackout sides for a good night's sleep. The site had very clean washing facilities and staff were friendly and welcoming. We will easily be coming back again for another weekend!”

“I want to thank practice nurse Persis from Valley Park Surgery and greatly recommend that other patients try to ask to see her if possible. I had an appointment for a blood test this morning and was attended by her. She was very professional and friendly and was super efficient in her work. had countless blood test experiences in the past where some nurses would fumble for many long minutes to find the correct vein on my arm but Persis managed it on first try. It was simply a matter of applying sterilisation swipe, insert needle, and draw away. The whole process did not feel like it took more than an entire minute. So amazingly efficient! To me, what separated Persis from many other nurses I have seen in different GP surgeries in the past was that she was very thorough. She had clearly reviewed my medical records before seeing me and knew that I had yet to book an appointment for another test that was overdue so she offered to do that test for me since I was already there. And again, she was so skilled and efficient. A minute or two later, it was done! Amazing! Honestly it would have taken me more time to try to book an appointment online than having the test done by Persis! Thank you so much Persis! You exemplified what an excellent medical staff should be not through your words but through your actions.❤️”

“Stayed 1 night following an in house party. We had asked for a twin room and were assured our allocated room was a twin. It wasn't but as we were only staying 1 night didn't want to make a fuss. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is modern, well decorated and modern. The rooms are well appointed with hair dryer and safe available. Breakfast was lovely with variations to the menu no trouble at all. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.”

“This Hotel/Pub was the perfect location for us. We were visiting a family member recovering from major surgery but also wanted to explore the area. We were not disappointed as Woking (cinema & Theatre) and the ‘Saturn Way’ were on our doorstep. As regards the hotel we were greeted by Lee who set a wonderful first impression. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the rest of the staff. The room had recently been refurbished to a high standard and was immaculately clean and comfortable. The pub itself had a wonderful relaxing atmosphere and the food was very tasty. Big thank you to Lee, Nessie and the rest of the staff for making our stay memorable. Free parking a big bonus.”

“Small but cosy rooms with high-quality sheets and towels. The staff are pleasant, and the breakfast is very good. The cookies at reception are excellent. Do note that laundry charges incur an additional 20% VAT on top of the listed prices. Also, if it’s raining, be prepared to navigate a few puddles on the short walk to Ealing Broadway.”

“Very quiet property, safe and secure and amazing location. My husband and l have been staying for over a month and are really pleased we chose to stay here. Very close to the train station, Sainsbury’s, and the Shopping Centre is just round the corner too. Lots of lovely cafes and shops nearby , as well as great value for money , extremely helpful staff; Katie is such a great host and Jamie is always happy to help! “I know the Dog and Fox very well but had never stayed in the hotel. It was a great decision, a beautifully comfortable bed, spacious and clean room . Breakfast was also excellent with multiple choices of continental and traditional dishes on offer. All cooked dishes were prepared to order and piping hot. My stand out part of the visit were the staff, highly trained, cheerful and helpful. In the bar, restaurant and reception they didn’t fail to impress. I have to also mention housekeeping , although I didn’t see them it was obvious they were working hard in the background to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Can’t recommend enough and will definitely be back .”

“It was a great place to stay, 6-7 min walk from Moorgate Station and just 2 min walk from VFS centre which was my main motive to be in london. They have 24*7 check in and it was convenient. They also have a bar and offers breakfast too at reasonable price. All the facilities were clean and guests were respectful.”

“Usual Ibis standard. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Breakfast great! 10 min. walk to Canary Wharf Jubilee Line station and then one tube stop from O2 arena and at least a third the price of hotels on peninsula - What's not to like?”

“A lovely little boutique hotel. Friendly staff who let me choose which room I wanted. The rooms themselves are nice and modern. Nicer than bog standard bedding. Appreciated the complimentary biscuits and slippers! Also really liked how there was a fridge in the room!”

“Just back from an 4 day break which turned into a 8 day break. Mark was really helpful when we were trying to set up and along with a few fellow campers and staff they managed to get us pitched correctly in no time - nothing seems to much bother for them. I asked to stay on extra nights and Billy at reception went out of his way to sort my extra nights and I didn't have to move pitch. Visited this site many times over the last 7 years, started in a tent and progressed to a hard top folding camper and now our beloved Hobby caravan. The site really is immaculate, they focus on every detail. Pitches are quite large, shower blocks are fantastic, possibly the best we've used, always clean. Staff are very friendly, they go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect, nothing too much trouble. I was there on my own for most of my visit, the owners kept their eye out on me, i felt relaxed and safe in the secure environment. They are constantly improving the site as we have witnessed over the years. The long termers are friendly and welcoming to tourers. Perfectly located with shops and pubs, beautiful surrounding areas. “We went this morning to breakfast with Santa, food was great, kids were entertained and service was quick, and such good standards all round. We will definitely be returning staff are so lovely and accommodating thanks guys”

“Booked yesterday for an ultrasound guided cortisone injection. Clinic was clean, easy to find and the staff were friendly. Initial consultation took around 15 minutes and I was then provided with a report of findings and recommended treatment plan. After 24 hours the pain in my back has subsided at least two thirds and I am able to stand for more than 5 minutes, which was almost impossible one day ago. Dr Riaz explained that it would be likely to have a further session or follow up physiotherapy in about a week so I have booked in for next Thursday for a follow up appointment to check my progress. Overall extremely impressed and happy with the treatment and care.”
