“Bianca’s Café Bianca’s hums while the morning wakes, Steam curling softly from teapots and cakes. Outside, the clouds still grumble and spin, But inside, the day’s already wearing a grin. The smell of toast, the hiss of the pan, The sigh of the kettle, the grin of a man. Old ladies gather — their laughter loud, Crackling like sparks through the morning crowd. Their smiles flash bright through the buttery haze, Fake teeth gleaming with mischievous blaze. They gossip and giggle, their joy unrefined, Wicked and golden and gloriously kind. Then — the door swings wide with a jubilant clang, Another crew enters, a self-made gang. They’re greeted like queens with golden handshakes, Given by the cook himself, applause in their wake. One whispers, “Did you see her look?” Another gasps, “I swear he winked — I’m shook!” Soon they’re glowing, delighted and good, As if they’d just been blessed by Paul Hollywood. The radio hums old songs of love, Toast lands like feathers from heaven above. The neon glows — HYGIENE: FIVE! — But it’s the people here who keep life alive. The chairs are scuffed, the tables lean, Yet every mark says someone’s been. Brown sauce glistens, the chatter’s deep, And hope stirs softly from its sleep. Strangers arrive with the chill on their skin, But the warmth of the place seeps gently in. Soon they’re laughing, feeling they’ve known These faces as friends, as part of their own. Outside may darken, the headlines may bite, But inside Bianca’s, the world feels right. A place of comfort, courage, and cheer, Where the essence of life still simmers here. A salute to Julie and Alex, long may you prosper.”

“A warm, simple, and authentic spot. The atmosphere is calm — a perfect escape from the chaos of Camden on a saturday. The girl behind the counter was super friendly and welcoming. I had a flat white that was perfectly made, and the brownie was the highlight: crispy on the outside with that thin, well-baked crust, and soft and moist on the inside, just the way a good brownie should be. Not too sweet, but definitely leaves you wanting another bite. Overall, a great experience. A hidden gem right across from the hostel.”

“Really nice place. The interior is clean, spacious with a large view of the mall interior. The entrance is inside the next, in the women’s shoe section. A little tricky to find but definitely worth it. The coffee and hot chocolat is good. There is a nice selection of cakes and deserts as well as savoury food. The staff is nice and the service is quick.”

“My experience was ok in general, the lady working behind the till was clearly very experienced and made beautiful coffee with nice foam for a customer in front of me. For some reason the gentleman who made my coffee decided to pour the milk by holding the jug so high above the cup that all the foam was very bubbly and didn’t look nice, also he overheated the milk. Never seen any barista make coffee like that. Edit: I asked the lady to pour some cold me into my cup to make it cooler and told her about the foam and she made me a new coffee with perfect foam. So I’m changing my review to 5 stars.”

“Located right on Shepperton high street and about a 3 minute walk from the train station the cafe has all the amenities and standards you expect from a Costa. Firstly, I would like to mention the fact that as of April 2023, there is wifi, which is desperately needed as Shepperton has notoriously bad signal. Also the seats right at the back have a couple of plug sockets. So if you need to charge devices, it is possible but if it is busy you may be out of luck. There is also one single use toilet at the back that is accessible for people with disabilities. As far as cafe toilets go I found this to be pretty clean. The cafes furnished quite nicely, in line with other Costa’s, but could use a little refresh. It is nonetheless a comfy place to relax and grab a coffee for an hour or so. The staff were lovely and friendly and seemed to have a friendly rapport with many local customers, who clearly come in regularly. This was nice to see as you don’t often see this in big chains, but the quietness of Shepperton makes this possible. The food and drink were exactly what you expect of Costa, my Cappuccino was made quickly and tasted great. The Cinnamon Bun and Bakewell Tart are favourites of mine and didn’t disappoint. All in all I would definitely come back again if I found myself in the area and had a bit of time to kill. Food and beverage were of the standard you expect, all the facilities you could need, comfy atmosphere and friendly staff… not much more you could want really…”

“I just wanted to take a moment to share some truly positive feedback about the Costa Coffee branch in Ruislip Manor, High Street. Having lived in Ruislip Manor for over 14 years, I’ve visited many Costa Coffee locations across London and the UK. I can confidently say that the team at this branch stands out above the rest. The staff—Ezmi , Hassan, Dishan, Miles, and Summer—have all served me on various occasions, and their service has consistently been outstanding. This location has a real community feel, with many regulars, and the team handles the busy environment with professionalism, calmness, and patience. They go above and beyond to ensure every customer feels welcomed and looked after. Their dedication, friendly approach, and ability to maintain a high standard under pressure deserve recognition. Not only is the service impeccable, but the food and drinks are always top quality. The consistency in both service and product quality makes this branch an example for others to follow. To Ezme , Hassan, Dishan, Miles, and Summer—thank you for your hard work, your passion, and the positive energy you bring to every shift. You’re a real asset to Costa Coffee, and I truly appreciate everything you do. Keep up the fantastic work! Wishing you all a great summer. Looking forward to many more visits! Take care, stay safe, and God bless. Warm regards, Zia Uddin Hoque (A regular and very grateful customer)”

“think this is one of the best Costa Coffee outlets in the Havering area of outer London. It is run with super efficiently and a lot of care is taken to meet any special requests such as extra hot etc etc I do not know how long the young lady whose name i understand is Valentina has been at Costa but she certainly seems to be very experienced. She stays calm and organised even when it is very busy. I like to give praise where praise is deserved and she certainly deserves it. She has the perfect manner for dealing with the public and makes the minimum fuss about it. A credit to Costa ! Her colleagues are very good too and no doubt are recipients of good advice from Valentina. Thank you Paul”

Nestled within the growing development, this gem serves not just great coffee, but also a dose of warmth and friendliness. The service here is always with a smile, making every patron feel truly welcomed. While it's a weekend-only affair, the exceptional brew and camaraderie make the wait utterly worthwhile.
