“My favourite craft beer bar. Great selection, very welcoming atmosphere. Great to have a solo beer with a book or meet new people or come with freinds. Very pleased places like this exist! Supporting craft beer. Cans to take home or drink in and 8 draught beers too. 10/10”
“We had an incredible experience at this small family-run Lebanese restaurant! The owners were exceptionally friendly, guiding us through the menu and suggesting delightful dishes. The variety of both meat and vegetarian options allowed us to savor an array of flavors. The cozy atmosphere and fresh, delicious food make it a must-try spot. A gem in the culinary scene!”
“Delicious food but quite expensive. Great soba noodle soup and gyozas! Limited vegetarian / non sushi options. Booking highly recommended”
“Stopped by the other day and was blown away! The coffee was outstanding, which is so hard to find in London. Made me feel like I was abroad. Croissants were also spot-on, and the owner was so warm and kind. When you step out of the station, turn right, and it’s about a minute’s walk. The kind of place you go out of your way to visit again!”
“An outstanding restaurant. The owner is very personable and hands on. The space is inviting. The food is extraordinary. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal here.”
“Gem of a cafe serving well cooked & well presented food at a very reasonable price. Great quality too. Lovely atmosphere, friendly, quick service. Will be my go-to cafe whenever I’m in Richmond. A great find!”
“Really lovely park cafe. The staff are so friendly. Lots of people came and talked to the owners/staff. Very welcoming. The food was delicious and clearly homemade. I can't wait to make their vegetarian roll. Love when you talk to someone who works in a cafe and knows whats in it and how it is made. Very impressed. And tasty desserts. Thanks for a nice break during our walk.”
“I would like to say a big thank you to Helena and Zen for the fabulous Kitchen we have just had fitted. We absolutely love our bespoke hand painted kitchen built by there local Joiners. We chose their British range over the more contemporary German style and Reece who fitted it was a genius in his flawless work.. Best decision we made and highly recommend.. Thanks again and best regards Geoffrey & Christine”
“Hawthorn is 100% your new go-to spot in Kew/Richmond. For some background, everyone who I was with for dinner had previously dined at the Glasshouse at some point in their lives, so when we all arrived for dinner at Hawthorn, we were intrigued about how it would compare… AND WOW our expectations were blown out of the water. Not only did we each quite literally lick the plates clean, but we all felt that each course was complex yet also felt so simple and just plain delicious. We heard that the restaurant just opened a couple of weeks ago, but the food tasted as if the chefs have been cooking together for years. Whether you are there for lunch or dinner, either set menu is incredibly well priced (especially when the food quality is at this level). The sommelier is incredible, suggesting perfect pairings for each course to accommodate every taste bud or finding a bottle that works with a table of diners who ordered a mixture of seafood and meat mains! Conveniently it’s also right next to Kew Gardens station or a short walk from Richmond station - very easy to get to and definitely worth a trip. What an amazing new restaurant in Kew!”
“These guys are great! Less of a shopping experience and more like meeting some friends in the know. They've got a great selection of wine with experts to help find something you like at a decent price. The tasting options are always worth a drink and let them impart some knowledge about what you're drinking. Shame I forget it all straight after.”
“Absolutely we are loved our time here! The apartment was cozy and well-designed, perfect for a short or long stay. Rooms are modern, quiet, and fully equipped, making it ideal for both business and leisure stays. The service was professional and courteous throughout my visit. Highly recommended. Adi and Manisha”
“I haven't been to Beyzade in a few years until last Saturday and the food is even greater! Great food, great atmosphere and very clean toilets..what else would you want.. No wonder why its so packed, keep up please-:)”
“The finest slow-cooked beef rib I have ever encountered. This dish was a revelation: perfectly succulent, masterfully cooked, and bursting with depth of flavor. An absolutely unforgettable plate. I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to everyone.”
“Picked this place simply by seeking Italian food to celebrate our 1 year of being engaged. Arrived and it was as special as I had hoped for. Food is a 10/10 service FANTASTIC and selection of wines and alcohol free beers amazing. Atmosphere equally and nice we sat outside. Love love thos place best Italian food ive tried for a long time in london”
“Sat a outside on a cute street with lots of small village charm. This is an adorable petit French bistro! Unfortunately the chicken dish was out, so I opted for the vegetarian item of the day. It's was delicious. I started with the French onion soup, per recommendations. It was good, but I regret not trying something else. Highly recommend stopping by after a visit to Kew!”
“This is one of the best restaurants we have been to in London. The staff were lovely and the food was absolutely fantastic. The use of spices was incredible, if you order the potatoes (Aloo Tuk) you will spend the entire meal trying to figure out what they are seasoned with. Absolute magic. Do yourself a favour and get yourself here, you won’t be disappointed.”
“It was such a delight to experience the festive afternoon tea here at The Petersham. The staff and service were excellent and were attentive, the atmosphere was great, I especially loved the magical Snow effect. It was nice to eat delicious food with a lovely view. I highly recommend!”
“Very tasty food and pleasant service! Thank you very much! I will come back to you again”
“Couldn't have asked for better service, food and accommodation for the weekend of my sister's wedding. Eanna and Lara were attentive and very professional. The venue was immaculate and everyone had a wonderful time. 10/10 would recommend the queen's head for wedding receptions!”
“This is the cafe in the heart of downtown Richmond. Everyone will pass by this cafe, so it is the ideal place to drink one of your coffees of the day. The friendly staff will serve you with a smile. The tables outside become breathtaking on sunny days since they have a place where the sun can see them. One of the few cafes in the area that serve espresso in its glass and no bigger, (espresso lovers will love it).”
“It was a stupidly hot late June day and as we were traveling back from Hampton Court Palace, we met a local whose parents also happened to be staying at the same hotel (The Selwyn) as us. We were on the last leg of four straight weeks of international travel and safari…we were EXHAUSTED and wanted a good simple dinner super close to the hotel and The Red Cow was recommended to us. The bartender was awesome, but made my day when he noticed how hot and tired we looked and brought me a pint glass filled to the brim with ice, to go with my fruity cider I was trying. Divine! Small gesture, big impact. Enjoyed a delicious dinner, football match on the tv, and we’d stay here instead of The Selwyn next visit. Also, don’t recall the name of this drink he recommended, but it was perfect at the end of a long, hot day. Thank you!”
“We got a takeaway for a family of 6. We love the huge portions, and generous amount of chips. Really cannot fault anything... It is also very nice that they also offer grilled options, on top of their selection of battered deep-fried goodies. Everything is delicious!”
“Surprised to have set lunch menu at weekend. Excellent food with affordable price, £24.5 for 2 courses and 27.5 for 3 courses. The staff is friendly.”
“Lovely service from all staff we had serving us today. All so smiley and happy to be here! Would recommended to anyone in the local area or visiting London for a great bit of grub and a view! ( we drove two hours and weren’t disappointed!)”
“The best Breakfast in the area!! Proper English Breakfast, delicate coffee, super friendly staff, not noisy inside at all... That is what you need for a hangover :) Seriously: the owner/boss is a great guy and it is not only my opinion, the staff says the same too and maybe this is the recipe for Cappuccino success. Always smiling Klaudia and Asia will help you with delicious choices, been there so many times, just love it! Kids friendly place too, no matter how busy the place is. Merry Christmas from Maciej and family... and C u after New Years!! :)”
“Quality. Variety. Been going here for a couple of decades. Consistently excellent. Always a nice welcome and attentive and confident service. Really good breakfast choices. Wide salad selection. Just addicted !”
“the views from the cafe are beautiful and very peaceful! the prices were reasonable and there was plenty of seating so we were able to sit outside and take in the view in the lovely weather! the cake was delicious and service was fast. it is only a short walk from the nearby car park and is close to King Henry's Mound! will definitely be returning. :)”
“Very nice little Thai restaurant run by 3 adorable ladies. Watch out when they bring out the sizzling beef and its smoke haha but beside that the dishes are tasty, the service attentive and the room not too loud. The Menu A Standard is perfect selection. The soup and the curry were delicious. The Ice cream is not very exciting though. Conveniently located less than 10 min walk from Richmond station.”
“My wife and I were rushing to the airport and got a bit lost, some train lines were closed, and stumbling upon this place in a hurry and quite hungry. We ordered two pork bao and two Thai milk teas. The bao was freshly handmade on the spot, and super juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The Thai milk tea was equally satisfying, perfectly hitting the spot. The service was impressively quick, which was a lifesaver given our tight schedule. We ordered, waited just a few minutes, ate, and were back on our way. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in the UK.”
“Wonderful experience and lovely interior that introduces hair cuts to the littles in the most fun and entertaining way. The hairdresser is incredibly experienced, patient and kind. She cut our toddler's hair perfectly and charged a fraction of what you would pay at other children's hair salons in London. Highly recommended! And also, do go for the first haircut package, it's absolutely worth it.”
