“I was sent unexpectedly to phlebotomy today and so rather than risk the queue at CUH I decided to go to Purley Hospital. I am so glad I did. I saw Wendy, the phlebotomist who was astonishingly fantastic. For only the second time in my life I could honestly say I didn't feel the needle going in. She was so well organised that it took mere moments for the three or four files of blood to be taken. People always struggle getting blood from me, A&E on Sunday were horrendous but Wendy was amazing. She could certainly teach them a thing or two. Please don't ever leave Wendy.”

“I think this is the best GP practice around, the reception staff are always so helpful and supportive. You hear so many stories about receptionist at GP's being difficult but I have only ever experienced professionalism and kindness from them. You can book appointments ahead of time so none of the calling first thing in the morning to wait in a queue to be told no more appointments. I have also been fitted in as emergency on a few occasions.”

The experience of meeting and speaking with the Consultant Mr Mavrelos and the team at Nova Health Clinic was easy as they put you at ease where you may feel uncomfortable going in to discuss what could be an emotional matter concerning your health. Mr Mavrelos' level of communication was great as he made it a point to ask questions, discussed procedures he undertook and mentioned all results as he reviewed them. Whilst health should not have a price on it, choosing to go down the route of using a private facility such as Nova Health Clinic, has given me the peace of mind of not waiting in an NHS queue and being seen quickly as well as knowing my results prior to leaving the clinic.
