“After viewing so many normal catteries we stumbled across Longcroft luxury cat hotel at Chelmsford for our two 6 month old, very active, Bengal kittens and we were so happy! I’m a very fussy cat-mum and really struggled to find anywhere that I was happy to leave my furbabies until I came and visited Tim at Longcroft. He really seemed to care and love all his furry guests and really put all my worries aside. The “suites” are immaculate, beautifully decorated and they had a great space with large, sturdy cat tree and lovely bedroom area with bed and Tim also brought in a water drinking fountain especially for the kittens to use which they loved and as it was hot they had their own fan too. We also took along a lot of their home comforts and toys which was welcomed. Every day whilst we were away we got lovely updates and or photos and a really lovely postcard “from the cats” on their last day. It really did put us at ease seeing them relax into their holiday home. Every evening the kids would ask if we’d heard from the cats yet :-) When we collected Bobby and Dolly they seemed very happy and relaxed (as did all the cats in their care!) which was just so lovely. “It's very easy to tell that Sarah is a 'cat person'. The setup is lovely and I was amazed as how easily my two cats settled in to the room for the 6 days they were to spend here. On return home they were so chilled out and it felt to us a good indication of the care they'd been given during their stay. My son absolutely loved the postcard that arrived the next day from the cats saying what a great time they were having too! Everything felt like the cats are the priority over all else, with an appreciation that it can be stressful leaving your animals with someone else when you go away. We will absolutely be using Dulverton again, thank you Sarah.”

“Rooms simple, but have everything you need. It was so clean. Roy was extremely welcoming and had everything under control. Location was perfect for me, quiet area, plenty of room to park my van. 20 minute walk into Farnham Common where pubs and restaurants are. Loved it, would stay again.”

“If only I could give this hotel 10 stars. I am incredibly impressed with the customer orientation of Wilde Aparthotel Paddington, and particularly Guest Relations Manager Waris Boryali. We left a valuable item at the hotel after our most recent stay. Wilde, Waris, and team went above and beyond to secure our item and work with a courier service I hired to get the item back to us. Critically, their cleaning staff turned our item in. Additionally, Waris went out of his way to ensure that our item was packaged and safely kept for the courier pick up. He remained in touch with me consistently to give me updates about the item - he was incredibly responsive. The hotel has a WhatsApp messenger feature that is so convenient. I am absolutely indebted to these consummate professionals! We have stayed there annually and will continue to do so - you cant get rid of us now! And P.S. - the rooms are super cute with kitchenettes and sleeping accommodations to fit all needs. The hotel is ideally situated to walk, tube, bus or cab to all corners of London. “We spent two nights at the “more than” Goodenough Guest House. Andy, the host, was very kind and served us robust English breakfasts each morning. We stayed in the loft room which was perfect for my son and me, visiting family just down the road where there was a full house. I loved the large bathtub. At 6’4” (193 cm) I appreciated the large soaking tub in the bath, where there was also a shower. One should know, no lift and no air conditioning. Didn’t bother us. We were lucky with weather and the air was cool at the end of July and the neighborhood quiet, so we could have the windows opened. The beds were comfortable, and a nice sofa to have a cup of tea, play a card game and relax. Short walk to the train. Totally clean! We loved it and will return!”

“If you are looking for a no frills room that is in a superb location, this hotel is for you. I only stayed one night for business. When I checked in I was feeling terrible and I arrived early. Check in wasn't for another hour, I was going to cancel my room and book at another Marriott since I have status and usually can check in early. The young lady working at the front desk was super helpful and saw that I wasn't feeling well, I didn't catch her name I wish I had because she sprung into action. She told me to have a seat and she was going to see what she could do to help. She was so kind and empathetic and was able to get me into a room quickly so I could rest. I appreciated that gesture beyond belief! The room was clean, no frills, just a bed, small bathroom and necessities. If you've ever stayed on a cruise ship, the rooms are exactly that of a cruise ship. The location is across the street from Victoria train and underground station with food and transportation. Even though it was only for one night, it was a wonderful experience with Marriott hospitality that makes me continue to be a loyal customer.”

“A very beautiful hotel. Well known for its spa, which is one of my favourites in London. Beautiful pool, great services (massages, facials etc) and high quality products. I like the bar here, and the bar snacks. Rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. It’s a beautiful and elegant spot.”

“Location was amazing for us, the view couldn't be better(1 bedroom apartment for 4 people). Clean, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds all great. Would be nice to have some oil for cooking additionally to salt and paper, but not a problem to buy It was nice to have a washing machine, my preference though would be to replace it with a dishwasher (but there are so many food options around that we were eating somewhere else mostly)”

“I’ve stated twice at their apartments in Brixton. Great location and modern apartments. Good value for money, very clean and all the amenities were great. Good iron, fan, hairdryer. The temperature of the studio was great. The apartment was a little cool, so I sued the electric heater and it was great. The apartment I stayed had a full kitchen and washing machine and dish washer, which were super useful.”

“Fabulous unique hotel in Kensington. 10 minute walk to The Royal Albert Hall for a concert. Beautiful, comfortable clean & quirky. Bed and pillows very comfortable, good shower with Penhaligon products. Very nice attentive staff. We had a front room on the road which is a tad noisy but we managed the traffic noise fine. Would definitely recommend.”

“This is a wonderful boutique hotel with great staff. Each room is named after, and decorated in the style of a famous person. The room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were amazing and put up with our late departure from the room each day. The hotel is very conveniently located with bus stops feet from the door. Our daily trips to the tourist attractions were never more than a bus ride away. Would highly recommend without any reservations on our end.”

“Lovely hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Beautifully decorated hotel, rooms we immaculately clean. We stayed in a music theme room on the 5th floor. It was lovely and quiet, room was spacious and comfortable. We had a fantastic nights sleep. I loved the little duck in the bathroom made me smile! And the extras in the fridge were a nice touch and greatly appreciated after a busy day! We would definitely stay again. Location is incredible so convenient for the tube, the museum and lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. My only disappointment was that we couldn’t get food in the hotel before 6pm which we needed to do as we were heading out early and we arrived back at the hotel after 12 hoping for a little nightcap but even on a Friday night we were told bar was closed and the concierge couldn’t recommend anywhere in the area where we could go! Which was a bit of a disappointment. But all in all it was a very pleasant stay! Our only regret is not booking breakfast or afternoon tea in the drawing room! It looked stunning! Had we more time there we would have. But I’m sure we will be back! Overall very comfortable pleasant stay on top location!”

The rooms were furnished to an exceptionally high standard, the bed felt luxurious, the shower powerful and the staff were brilliant. The breakfast was excellent.
