“I can’t thank Mario enough! My 13-year-old cat had never been groomed before, so I was nervous about how he would handle it. Mario was incredibly professional, patient, and gentle—he really took the time to calm him down and make him feel comfortable. You can tell he truly loves and cares about the animals he works with. The grooming was absolutely perfect, and my cat looks amazing. I only wish I had found him sooner. Highly recommend Mario!”

“Mans Best Friend Kensington & Chelsea Doggy Daycare is beyond brilliant. I have been bragging at the local dog park about Emma and her amazing team of doggy carers!! My little frenchie “lulu” has been attending since she was 4 months old - it has helped her so much in terms of socialisation, positive behaviours, and stimulation!! Jake is her favourite human who collects her and brings her home each day & who she goes to for cuddles as often as possible!! Highly recommend this daycare (& I did a ton of research & trials before I chose these super dog heroes!).”

As a first time customer our concerns and queries were put at ease with Nicola's professionalism and the continuous updates about our dog (including photos and videos). We know that she is well taken care of by Hanna, Mark and Lauren and there is always a wagging tail when the girls hear the car approaching. More recently our younger Joey has joined the pack. It's very important to us knowing the girls are with someone that knows them, and is looking out for them. Highly recommend.”

“Matt and Em looked after our dog Fig while we were away on holiday. They were fantastic and we got lots of regular updates with photos. Its clear how much they both love dogs, they put us completely at ease and we knew he was in great hands. Fig absolutely loved them and I think he was pretty devastated when they left. “My Guinea pigs love it there! Since finding Charlie I would not leave my piggies anywhere else, they are extremely well looked after and always come home happy and relaxed. “Absolutely wonderful service from Dog in Black for a number of years now. My Labrador Ted has been walked by them 3-4 times a week for at the last two-three years. The carers over that time have always been fantastic, very communicative and clearly experienced and dog lovers in general. For anyone interested in more of the details, for the standing arrangements where your pup is walked 3-4 times a week on similar/the same days they aim to have the same carer do all of their walks. Its a great setup which means that my dog builds a great relationship/bond with the walkers. Special shoutout to Becky, Alana, Louise and Madika who have all at various times been Teds primary walker and have always done an amazing job. They send you lovely updates after the walk every day, and when you're having a bad day in the office its always nice to get a few pictures/videos of your dog out there living his best life. They have always been very flexible and quick to respond on the administrative side and I really have nothing but good things to say about them. Thanks to all of the team and I look forward to many more years of one seriously happy and tired Labrador when I get in from the office.”

“An Outstanding Veterinary Practice – Truly Deserving of the Name ‘Best Friends’ Having lived in Brentwood for 30 years, I can confidently say that Best Friends Vets are the finest veterinary practice I’ve ever encountered. Their genuine love for animals is evident in every interaction, and they bring warmth and compassion to a field that can often feel clinical or judgemental. Unlike some other practices, they never make you feel embarrassed or lectured if your pet’s vaccinations are overdue or if life has simply got in the way. Their approach is refreshingly understanding, focusing on solutions rather than criticism. The staff are consistently polite, informative, and incredibly helpful. Their professionalism is matched by a sincere desire to provide the best care possible—not only for the animals, but for the people who love them. I only wish they had been in Brentwood decades ago. I won’t be taking my pets anywhere else.”

“5 stars because: * the people are friendly and knowledgeable * they can put you in touch with great locals for pet setting * they stock my cat's food (basically the only store in London it turns out!) * but the biggest draw here is Mika, the store cat. She never tires of pats and tickles and is just ever so sweet and lovely!”
