Wound down with a nightcap in the company of James and Jules at the bar; they were great hosts. The room and, in particular, the bed were just superb. The bathroom: everything clean and just as you'd want it. Mary made us a very good breakfast and was also very friendly. It was clear all the staff we met actually care and want their guests to enjoy their stay and be comfortable. Highly recommended.”

Larb Gai tort (minty chicken balls), pik Gai tort (deep fried split wings marinated in fish sauce) and DIY noodles were amazing!!! The Khao Soy (northern style curried noodles) was delicious!!!! The Krapow was okay (yet to find a good one in London) but still tasty. The service is excellent. Worth a visit!!!”

We were a particularly difficult group, large group of 17 of us, all with complicated needs, I was overwhelmed and they were my family so god knows how they felt. But they were calm, attended to our needs, respectful when they really could have left us too it. The food was incredible, quality and quantity both great, to say we were full is an understatement, we had to take food home! Always a good sign! I especially enjoyed the various cut fruits which came with the breakfast. It made the breakfast more wholesome, healthy, and enjoyable. Only thing I would suggest is the pancakes were not my favourite, maybe it didn't have much sugar in the flour mix. Don't know if that's a positive or negative thing, healthy Vs tasty. Maybe some would have a different experience with the pancakes. Also, don't need to decorate the breakfast with flowers etc, the food was excellent already so it doesn't add much apart from maybe cost to the restaurant. Overall, excellent food, lovely staff, cozy vibe, wonderful experience, would come back and highly recommend.”

“We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here last night and if I could rate it 10 star I would. We were greeted by Slobodan the Restaurant Manager and shown to our table. He made a point of congratulating us on our anniversary and throughout the evening returned to our table now and then to ensure everything was just right. The service was exceptional and the food was even better. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and I was treated to a table side view of my cherry pancake dessert being flambé'd (I think thats how it's spelt). It tasted amazing. Slobodan and his team made our evening very special and one we will treasure.”

The tapas are better than many places in Spain, especially the garlic prawns. The place is tastefully designed, the decor, the lighting... and the music are also very cleverly chosen. “This was a good experience! The interior is nice and quite colorful, definitely adding some Italian vibes. The place is packed with tables - they definitely use every single square foot of their three storey space. The starters were good - burrata was nice, the fried calamari were good, carpaccio was really delicious. The tartar portion was was too small and it was diced too coarsely in my opinion but the taste was nice. The roast beef was nice also. The pizza was a bit disappointing - the dough was not as baked as I would have liked and it was soaking the filling in. Pasta with truffles and pasta carbonara were great. Crab pasta was just okay. The desserts were nice also - both the burrata and cream/pineapple dish were nice. Tiramisu was fine too. The service had some hiccups, e.g. we were asked the same questions twice and had to wait quite a bit before the first dishes were served, and the staff didn’t bother refilling our water bottles. However it didn’t spoil the overall experience. I can recommend this one, especially for larger groups it works nicely”

“Cozy old-ish well kept bar/restaurant in Leadenhall market - this is not on the Main Street, go into that tiny lane to find this gem! Great boom bop beer (I love!) smashed burger with soft yum buns (so simple but yet so yum) but the cauliflower is a tad spicy for me (Londoners can take spicy shit! Haha), go for it if you love spicy! The service team is amazing too, so friendly and makes you feel welcome. If you are in the area, and feel like a burger, this is the place! Amazing live music at 1pm on a Sunday too! (not sure on other days)”

“Was fortunate enough to get a last minute dinner reservation at the counter, which was a great experience! The restaurant is a short walk from Old Street station. Nest offers seasonal menus and my visit was during Beef Season. Unfurling the wax-sealed menu revealed two set menu options, the short menu or longer signature menu, which I went with. A wine pairing is available however I chose my own drinks. Over the next two hours I was treated to eleven courses of incredible cooking. Despite being Beef Season the menu was interspersed with some seafood and vegetable items as well, although they had found creative ways to incorporate beef in many of the courses. I enjoyed all the dishes but some of my favourites were the tempura oyster with bone marrow mayonnaise, the sirloin carpaccio and Highland beef. Sitting at the kitchen counter added to the experience, you could tell the chefs were passionate from the way they worked together and the way they explained each dish and how they had made it. To drink I had a Nest Negroni and a glass of Slovakian red wine, both of which were excellent and served promptly. The drinks list is extensive and will suit most tastes. Nest is in an area with lots of competition and certainly holds its own. It was a great meal and I would love to return to try another season!”
