I approached Cullens of Surrey to auction my late husband's treasured model bus collection. From the outset, the service I received was outstanding. I dealt primarily with Derrick over email, who was incredibly professional, helpful, and easy to communicate with. He guided me through the whole process and arranged for the collection of the items. The driver who came to collect the collection was also professional, punctual, and friendly, and everything went very smoothly. Derrick kept me informed every step of the way, which I really appreciated. The collection was thoughtfully split across three auction sales, and the first one has now been completed—every item in that sale was sold. I am so pleased with the overall experience and grateful for how sensitively and efficiently the whole process was handled. “Ponte Nuovo has got to be the best Italian in Croydon. A great selection of starters, the bread and oil is so simple yet incredibly moreish, and the main courses are full of flavour and depth. Big big portions. Save space for the deserts, the gigantic profiteroles in a sea of chocolate sauce, the insanely rich tiramisu. Staff are very friendly and speak highly of the italian chef and kitchen staff; a sure sign of a good front of house/back of house team relationship. Service was perfect, meals bought out together and well presented. This is somewhere you bring family for a great dinner. At this time of year it had a good but not overpowering christmas decorative theme. We're going back soon.”

“Great pizza at a great price. I love pizza and normally make my own, but sometimes I'm in the mood for a delivery pizza. I used to just get it from the chains, but wanted to try a local place so ordered their double pepperoni. Price was much better than ordering from a chain, the delivery driver was very friendly, and the pizza had plenty of cheese and toppings. Meat, cheese, and sauce were all very good, but the base/crust was one of the best I've had. They have a really flavourful dough and it was cooked perfectly, giving it a nice texture and slight taste of char from the pizza oven. Definitely will order again from here rather than other places!”

“Primark has a range of affordable workout items, if you are planning to go to the gym to be summer ready! Fitting is quick and easy and if you happen to be able to go during week days, the queue is not very long at the till compared with weekends. Going often to the gym if you like to have a freshly cleaned outfit for each session since the U.K. weather does not allow clothes to dry very quickly, worth a trip. Leggings at £3 Sport bras at £7 Tops at £6 (got them at £3, discounted on the day) I don’t usually like fast fashion but when planning to go down in size with the comfort of daily clean gym items, it does make sense not to buy branded and expensive items. Primark also has a very nice summer collection for house items this year. I particularly loved the cushion cover they give a Monsoon vibe.”

“Needed to change beds so stopped by Hamseys as it's local. Served by Andy who was very pleasant and patiently showed us various options. He also has a sense of humour. We bought 3 beds and headboards, and the delivery came with free set-up. Having had such an excellent service in store we decided to replace existing headboards on other beds. Good prices on all items. The delivery guys were excellent also - they set up all the beds and headboards and took all wrappings away. These are not quite one month in place, so we hope the quality remains as good as the items look.”
