“Where to begin! This is hands down our favourite restaurant in all of London, and we love Michelin-starred spots and would like to think of ourselves as proper foodies. The attention to detail from the moment you step inside is just incredible. You’re greeted by none other than Sandia Chang herself, and welcomed into the bar area with a lovely drink and some amuse-bouche to start the experience. It already feels special by then. You get the chance to chat with some of the team, get a glimpse of the menu, and start soaking in the atmosphere. I love that they’ve recently tweaked their offering a bit. There’s now a shorter and a longer menu, which is great as it opens the door for more people to try it, even if they’re not going for the full tasting experience. After around 20 to 30 minutes, you’re moved into the main dining area, the kitchen itself, surrounded by a counter table where the real magic happens. It’s like watching a symphony of chefs, all working together to serve you the most memorable dinner. You get to interact with them if you feel like it. They're incredibly warm, happy to chat and answer your questions, but also never pushy. It’s really up to you how involved you want to be, which I really appreciate. Seeing James Knappett in action alongside his brilliant team is amazing. The level of passion for food and hospitality is so obvious, it’s infectious. Both times we’ve been, our favourite dish has been the lobster, but honestly, there are so many wonderful surprises along the way. The wine pairings are fantastic, perfectly chosen by Sandia, and we even ended with a beautifully paired cider, which was such a delightful surprise. We’ve had dinner here twice now, in different seasons and years, and we still can’t stop thinking about it. Just an unforgettable place. Thank you so, so much to the whole team, we’re definitely coming back! PS: I had to pick a few photos as I had too many and don't want to ruin the surprise.”

“Absolutely outstanding. One of the best tasting menus I have ever tried. The food just kept coming, plating was beautiful and the flavour were unusual but complemented each other perfectly. So well-balanced.”

“This place isn’t just pretty, the portions are massive.We went in thinking we could eat a lot, but when the waiter rolled out the food on a cart, we just froze for a second hahaha. Seriously, don’t order as much as we did. You have to get the beef dolsot bibimbap. Super fragrant, and they give you extra Korean chili paste so you can adjust the spice however you like. We got the S-size garlic soy fried chicken, super crispy, and the sauce is addictive. Couldn’t stop eating it. And the cold noodles… honestly the best I’ve had in years.They even put ice in it, so it’s really refreshing.It comes with vinegar and mustard, and you can taste how fresh everything is.”

“Seven of us had a family meal to celebrate a wedding anniversary. From start to finish we could not have wished for more. Excellent service, wonderful drinks, delicious home cooked authentic French food, all at very good value. Highly recommend.”

“A proper oasis for Italians, proper food, great selection of panini and pastries and probably the best coffee you can get outside of Italy! Antonio is a great host and highly professional and I guess this help the extremely chill and friendly atmosphere in his premises. “Great steak, great service, great atmosphere. Prices could be cheaper if they wanted to compete with commodity steak houses but they're so much better that the actual price is totally justified. Highly recommend a visit. Try the sampler.”

“I'm not sure what all of the negative reviews are about; this is my first Japanese BBQ; I didn’t even know that there was such a thing. I've tried several Korean BBQ's and the prices for a similar selection of BBQ items is compatible. When I arrived at around 15:00 on a Sunday, the restaurant was empty; no customers whatsoever, this normally sets off alarm bells but Japanese BBQ... That's got to be experienced. Our waiter was attentive and efficient, he explained the process of the using BBQ, but I have to admit I did have to prompt him to get the information else we would have had more food stuck to the BBQ grill. He stated that a BBQ serving was suitable for an individual; I would agree to that if you didn't want any starters or side dishes. We also added Gyoza and noodles; I think that it was a little too much, I think that a single platter for one is correct if you haven't eaten for a few days. We chose one selection the chefs choice of mixed meats and one selection of seafood; we ate it all but I felt uncomfortably full afterwards; so much for my plan of a "light lunch". I will eat here again as I love Korean BBQ and this is on par with that with the advantage of not having to travel to New Malden.”

“Already upon arrival it was clear that the service would be very considerate, we were offered a table kindly. the interior is unique, we liked the minimalistic design and the color scheme. Picking the food was easy (the menu was very clear and had explanations for words we didn’t recognize). The owner helped us also with his recommendations. we ordered sashimi mix, crispy crunch and this super good salmon, avocado and eel sushi that was recommended to us. food arrived fast and the quality was top tier. we left feeling well fed but light. Probably because all the ingredients were so fresh. Also the drink selection is nice and filled with also healthy options.”

“This was absolutely delicious. Each dish was prepared with care and full of authentic flavor. The hummus was smooth and well-seasoned, topped with chickpeas and herbs, and the mutabbal had a perfect smoky balance. The falafel was crisp, fragrant, and not oily. (Highly recommended).”

“I visited Tindli By Chef Karnavar restaurant today and really enjoyed my meal. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. I ordered a sea food sadhya, Malabar chicken biryani and Ada Pradaman payasam it tastes really good The portion size was good for the price. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I would come back again.”

“One of the most beautifully decorated restaurants I have ever been to. The mezes (small plates) that I tried were all delicious, and there was a lot of variety. Great selecrion of vegetarian and vegan options, but the meat was well cooked too. A true gem.”

“Having known Arjun the chef from Everest and other places then to hear he is at dragons lounge so since then have been coming to DL for the last year. This weekend they hosted a party of 60 of us and from start to finish Arjun and his colleagues have been brilliant. They catered for all our needs and even last minute changes they didn’t get upset about. The food was exceptional. Chilli Garlic Mogo, aloo papdi chaat to the mains veg tawa etc I have had numerous messages from family members saying the food was great and that they all had a great time. Thank you all at DL for making it a great event. Keep up the great work.”

“One of the Best Indian Restaurants in London! We went last night for my husbands Birthday and it was fabulous. Food delicious, service excellent. When we arrived early the restaurant was empty and got nervous but it quickly filled up and when the food arrived it was faultless and amazing value!! “Wow is a good word to describe this place. Great food, service and vibe. It is a gem! They have 2 dishes which is quite special which I have never had (see pictures). We had the papadums to start....biryani lamb, Railway chicken and chef Special Gujarati Undhiyu... rich in flavour, spicy and diverse. The desserts (gulab jamun & rasmalai) ..must try... so delicious, authentic and pairs well with chai tea. No doubt a must visit spot.. again and again! The staff is so sweet and lovely.. especially Ayush was so amiable and friendly...not the case in all restaurants in London. Update: 3rd time now and 2nd visit to London. It's become like home. ;) sinply amazing food. My fav is still the fish and rassmalai...I could just eat this dessert non stop”

“Such a special place, on the high road but so easy to forget that once inside their gorgeous garden with overhanging vines. Always the warmest of welcomes (especially for well behaved four legged guests too!). The food is superb - octopus, truffle pastas, ravioli, tuna - some of our favourites.
