Shook my hand and kindly showed me to my table. He offered me a drink of my choice and gave me the depth and breath to choose my meal. Diona has a wonderful warm welcome with a sensational smile. A service that can warm any heart. Diona took very good care of us and made every effort to make us feel comfortable. Topped us up with refreshments and gave us condiments without asking. “Hidden gem in Fitzrovia, went past this place a few times and finally decided to try - and we are not disappointed. On the paper, it’s on a pricier side but it’s honestly worth every penny. We both got a set lunch and every course was done to perfection. The tempura particularly was impressive, fried at order, not too much dough, generous portion, light and crispy. Service was attentive, atmosphere was simply quaint and relaxing. Will definitely return, one of the best Japanese boutique restaurants in London!”

There is a very good deal for 2 or 3 course menu, so we could try different dishes. “There is a shortage of good chefs to the point they get poached ! We visited 3 times in 3 days. Staff amazing. Ample parking, outdoor enclosed space for children, tables with parasols. Inside large, clean. Chef and brewer so can use tesco vouchers for food. Although did not eat..lots of clean plates. Children welcomed and woofits. Check to see if chef having a well deserved day off....a very rare occasion.”

“A stunning oldy worldly building with a beautiful interior. I was here being a stall holder for a Christmas Market held outside the pub underneath a very large gazebo. The staff of the pub supplied us with free tea & coffee which was great as it was a cold day. The food I saw looked delicious and good portion sizes. If I lived nearer I would definitely visit this place regularly.”

“The pub is awesome - big bar, and the garden is really big with plenty of tables and also little huts so it feels like you have privacy. There was live music on when we were there, which was lovely and also not overbearing. But by far the biggest asset: the staff. So attentive, so polite. They also went above and beyond to microwave a ready meal I brought for my toddler and not only followed the instructions on the pack, but presented it to me on a platter with cutlery and a serviette, making my daughter feel like an absolute princess. Honestly an amazing experience, and so child and dog friendly.”

“Walking past and saw the 50% off food on Sunday offer so in we went! I've been to many Indian restaurants from back street to fine dining and each decent place has its own charm for different occasions! The place two doors down was packed, but I saw the food through the window and it looked brightly coloured which puts me right off! This was less busy, unfussy service and the food was good - the coconut that comes with the popadums was a game changer for me, like a party in my mouth! So whilst not exquisite or modern - my overall experience for what it was couldn't have been better hence the rating! Will certainly be back another Sunday!”
