“Almost every time I’ve been there, I have been given something for free. The other day I bought two bao buns and they gave me an extra two for free, this has happened more than once. Today I received a free packet of Ramen. There are so many more examples of this that I can’t put it into this review 20/10 recommend this place. Has a massive variety and at a reasonable price. Awesome staff and good service!”

“Went there today because of a tyre pressure leak. Didn't wait long and the service was great. The person working on my tyre issue was kind, friendly and very knowledgeable. Problem was solved very quicky at a very reasonable price. I wholeheartedly recommend them.”

“What an incredible find five minutes walk from the town centre. Very tastefully decorated in a minimalistic fashion. Everything looked freshly refurbished. The bedroom and en suite bathroom looked as though they had been recently decorated and were very nicely done. No expense had been spared. My only complaints were that the upstairs hallway was unbearably hot and nobody attended to the room whilst we were out. Nonetheless, we had a wonderful stay here. The available food was unusual and not as described on their website so be aware but it was still tasty and served its purpose of filling us up before we went out. There is onsite parking which consisted of two spaces and a disabled bay so they will be allocated on a first come first served basis. I believe that there is public parking nearby but cannot confirm.”

“The staff at the Kingston office were brilliant in handling an unfortunate drain blockage in one of the flats. They were on the case immediately, organised someone to deal with the problem and kept me informed throughout. Highly recommended”

“This place changed hands recently (late 2023), so the previous photos and reviews are no longer relevant. It is still a Korean restaurant, now called Yami. It now has Korean BBQ, Sushi, Korean fried Chicken, Bibimbap etc. It does lack some dishes the old place had (no Gimbap or udon soups) but is still good food and inexpensive. £20 for half a fried chicken and Bibimbap.”

“Great service - team was patient and knowledgeable but not "pushy" . Selection was just enough ie choice of 3-4 but not 15 (would be overwhelming for a novice like me). And there was a bit of sales on too so great to have a good price points.”

“Staff are helpful and polite which makes a nice change. I'd appreciate some variation in the lines carried every now and again but can't complain given the size of the shop. You could actually do a weekly shop in here if forced to but it's best for a quick thing you forgot.”

“Very ‘authentic’ HK style dimsum - love it here! A little bit pricey, but hey it is Kingston after all! Lucky to have this spot as a local restaurant. They have changed owner / name of the restaurant recently- FYI. Fav dishes so far - the siu mai, har gau, pork buns, custard cream buns and the pork pastry. Decent beef hor fun.”

“For me, one of the reasons that retail is fading is due to retailers neglecting the user / customer experience. Prestigious retailers, Harrods, Selfridges etc., get this right. There's also a huge focus on UX / UI on-line, but not often in retail. My experience today was different. Greated really well by the staff, and taken care of brilliantly by Jem. “Went into Hotters at Kingston on Thames on Saturday 23rd November 2024 and was greeted by a really wonderful young lady called Imogen. I explained how I suffer with swollen feet and ankles and am unable to wear the many pairs of hotter shoes and boots I own. She listened to my needs and went above and beyond in helping me. She was empathic, caring, genuine and nothing was too much trouble. This member of staff is an absolute credit to Hotters, the service and trouble she took was exemplary. She sold me 1 pair of boots and I also ordered another pair in black. My feet aren't cold, I'm comfortable and I had a very touching experience with an absolutely amazing member of staff.
