I haven’t been to the hairdressers in a few years, always struggled with feeling comfortable and being able to explain what I really want from the cut but all the staff at Fruittii are so welcoming and really helped me figure it all out. Mia is my hairstylist and she is amazing! I feel so confident after my cuts and always love having a chin wag with her. I can’t wait to get my hair dyed and go bold with her help! “Stay here a few times, for the value you seriously can't fault Mama Shelter. Always very welcoming and the rooms and furnished to a high standard and always clean. Some nice extras and great breakfast. The restaurant downstairs is super tasty and offers a unique room service/pick-up system. If you stay at The Hoxton, Mama Shelter gives a similar feel (same group) - location is ok but not the best.”

“Always have lunch here before Spurs games. And it's always busy. Good, straightforward, fresh food. Better fish and chips than a lot of fish and chip shops. Breakfasts, burgers and kebabs all good. Omlettes seem popular too.”

“Booking was easy online. While I needed to make a time change which required a phone call, it was quick and easy to do. We went for the all you can eat tacos, but found so many yummy things on the menu we ordered other items instead. The Ghost Rider Marguerita was delicioso, the homemade chips and guacamole was excellent (pomegranate seeds were a nice touch), the Mexican Fattoush salad was fantastic - finally some health vegetables on my holiday! The chicken and carne asada tacos were small yet superb. We could have ordred another plate, if we wanted, but opted for desert instead. The Empinada for me with chantilly creame was a perfect end. My wife apprciates ambiance, which Madera has even without the 15th floor view. Though of course, having the best meal on our holiday, while watching the sunset over London was a perfect end to our day. Last, but not least Sabuj took attentive care of us all throughout our experience. We are already planning on returning soon.”

“An absolutely amazing lunch experience! The lovely couple who run this restaurant even opened 30 minutes early just to accommodate us—such a kind gesture. Every dish we tried was exceptional. I’m from the Philippines and deeply love our cuisine, but the chef created such incredible versions of traditional dishes that truly impressed me. The adobo fried chicken was a standout—tender, full of flavour, perfectly crispy, and paired with an incredible sauce. The cucumber salad was fresh and balanced everything beautifully. My friend had the beef tapa burger, and it was a delightful surprise! The patty tasted exactly like authentic beef tapa (which we usually eat with garlic rice), but served as a burger—it was creative, bold, and delicious. My husband had the mushroom adobo, which was rich, hearty, and full of depth. To finish, we were treated to a surprise serving of avocado ice cream—a lovely and refreshing touch that wrapped up the meal perfectly. We also had the chance to chat with the owners, and their passion, creativity, and love for what they do truly shines through—not just in the food, but also in the presentation and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone!”

“Great food, full of flavour and carefully put together. We get a takeaway regularly from Miga and it never fails. The staff are always super nice and friendly and the prices are really good. We regularly get spicy pork bibimbap or the chicken Katsu. The Bulgogi is really nice too. Plus the ramen is large and spicy (although I don’t remember if you can get the ramen on delivery- only collection- could be wrong though).”

“This was a great dinner experience with authentic eritrean food! As eritrean tourists on vacation in London we found this place on Google maps, and based on the high reviews, wanted to check it out. The server was very attentive and friendly, and there was a great selection on the menu of both traditional and modern takes on eritrean dishes. We ordered the zigni, derek tibs and habesha salad. With the soft injera, the dishes were very tasteful and tasted homemade. In total only £47.”

“This place was fantastic! The tattooists were very friendly and welcoming, gave me a great quote, was a fair price for what I was after. My sister and I both got tattoos and had a laugh while doing so. This was the best tattoo shop we could have ever walked into in London. “Delicious food and great service! Had the kleftiko and it was amazing - it really melts in your mouth and I’m not even generally a fan of lamb. Comes with a greek salad and freshly made bread sticks, all very good too. Portions are huge, struggled to finish. At the end we also got a shot of Amaretto, which was also great! (Photo is with ultra wide 0.5, trust me when I say it’s huge)”

“Characteristic, welcoming place with an excellent atmosphere, clean and tidy. The bathrooms are clean. Friendly, joking, kind staff who are always attentive to customer needs. We went on a Saturday, the cooking was quite quick. Excellent appetizers, excellent pizza especially if you don't like Neapolitan pizza, excellent and abundant desserts. In our opinion it was average. I advise.”

“We came here for the first time for an our sons birthday there was 11 of us including 2 newborn babies the restaurant ensured that we was all sat next to eachother including spaces for the prams the service was wonderful and the food was beautiful will definitely be returning and will also recommend to friends and family”

“Tucked away along a quiet stretch of the Regents Canal in Islington’s eastern edge, Caravel is a great kitchen offering wonderful meals in a cozy canal boat. The dining room is big enough to accommodate quiet couples sharing a romantic dinner or a small group having a festive night out. They’re not reinventing the wheel here, but they are serving generous portions of exquisitely prepared food. Excellent service too.”
