“We came here on Valentine's Day's evening. It was our first time and did so after reading the good reviews. The lady at the front was superb, she patiently helped us with the menu and answered all of our questions even though she was busy receiving phone calls and customers coming in. The overall experience was excellent and definitely this is our Chinese restaurant to go from now on. We will repeat very soon for my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately, there were two dishes that we didn't like but this is a subjective opinion, we can't complain about the cooking, it is a personal taste. Black bean sauce has both a strong smell and taste that we didn't like but we liked beef and vegetables' textures. Also, the chicken with mushrooms brought us back images of hospital meals with plain boil chicken; the mushrooms, however, were great. We will try other dishes next time. Nonetheless, let me say how good were both the big (filled with small pieces of meat and other ingredients that I don't know but crunchy and delicious) and mini spring rolls (more pastry than filling with a tiny spicy trace), sweet and sour chicken (battered), chicken in sweet lemon sauce, special fried rice and special fried soft noodles (we would rather prefer them with more dressing but were not dried. Some more soya sauce could do the trick). Very quick cooking times, this must be due to a great mise en place. Well done chef! There are fortune cookies available for 20p each which come individually sealed and wrapped. Good prices, very good value for money. £10 minimum for card payments. There is a cash machine nearby that charges £1.90 for withdrawals. Parking is free on the road except from 11am to midday. They don't deliver to Edmonton Green but we are a quick short car ride away. In addition, the local had a cozy, clean, tidy and warm ambient that we liked while waiting for the order to be cooked. This is not like a chicken & chips shop full of grease and disturbing young people around. It might be because it was during the half term, can't really tell. Just in case, I earn no commission with my review and I am very critical. I am leaving my honest first experience. Updates will follow if needed.”

“It was an absolute delight to finally find an oriental store with everything I wanted. The store was very well stocked with an assortment to make your mouth water, and help always at hand. Everything was well labelled, priced, clean and tidy.....puts some supermarkets to shame!! I only went in to see the store, and came out with 2 full bags. The prices are incredibly competitive, and the service is excellent. Thank you Mofz, I will definitely visit again. Just noticed they also have a store in East London, that's wonderful!!!”

“Not the biggest store, but has a good mix of Asian products. Chinese, Korean, Japanese Filipino. Think of it more like an Asian store rather than a super market. But staff very nice and convenient location”

“Always my go to chinese , very polite and friendly staff on the phone , food arrived spot on the time quoted by friendly delivery staff . Food was boiling hot and tubs filled to the brim , full of flavour as always. I would highly recommend.”

“This is genuinely the best Restaurant I have ever been to. The food at this restaurant is so scrumptious, fresh and rich in taste and flavour. It had a wonderful aroma and the menu is great for anyone that's a bit picky, since they have like a hundred dishes to choose from. The food is always immaculate, and the service is even better. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and I have never once heard them say anything rude or out of the ordinary. I bet the owners are just as lovely, if not lovelier. I have probably ordered food from here 10 times now, and I am glad to say I will definitely continue to. The dishes that I recommend, would be: •Satay Chicken on Skewers (with extra sauce, it's soooo good) •Egg Fried Rice •Singapore Vegetarian Vermicelli (my personal favourite) •Vegetable Curry (with tofu) •Mixed Vegetable Chow Mein (with tofu) Everything about this restaurant is amazing, and I have never had any problem that have occurred. I hope this restaurant becomes well-known and expands into a bigger shop, since I definitely think they should. Now, it may seem like I am overreacting, but honestly, this is the best Chinese Cuisine in the UK. I can't imagine a place better than Oriental Delight. It should be a 5 star Michelin restaurant at this point. I'm not sure how to post a picture, which is sad because I had a picture ready to add to this lengthy review. I can't wait to eat from Oriental Delight again. This concludes my review, and I am also proud to say that this is my first ans only google review (probabaly). And only for Oriental Delight, because it's the best.”

“I've been here six times and it's been consistently very good. It's my favourite place to eat in Crystal Palace. I like the fact that it's always peaceful, and the staff are very good. The food is excellent and I've had lots of different dishes.”

“Actually so confused about the bad reviews. I ordered before looking at them - saw the bad reviews as food was en route and had a bit of a panic. The food was hot upon arrival, flavoursome and didnt inflict any sort of food poisoning- and I have a VERY weak stomach when it comes to food related illnesses. Again, flabbergasted at the bad reviews- 10/10 would order again!”

“The open kitchen window and specials menu outside caught our attention at first. Not a lot of space inside but adds to the charm of this small family run place. I can't speak for the main menu (except the standard British Cantonese gelatinous soup that we got, average at best) HOWEVER I rdered from their today's special board a roast Malaysian chicken with an incredibly flavourful rice and a homemade chilli sauce/sambal and that was absolutely delicious, would recommend! My partner had a flat noodle seafood dish (keow teow?) from the main menu and really liked it, I did have a taste and again thought it wasn't bad. But honestly the special was so damn good, the chicken was insanely succulent and the rice was so well seasoned (it was like a garlicky buttery pilau type rice).”

“Recently came to celebrate my brothers 18th birthday as he loves the Japanese cuisine. We started off with the crispy chilli squid, which was really tasty, would have preferred the sauce as a dip rather than all over the squid as the crispiness of the fried squid wasn’t as crispy by the time it came to our table. The tacos were delicious, bit if crunch and the whole dish came together really well. Salmon and tuna sashimi were incredibly fresh and was stunning, everything was placed incredibly well and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. We ordered several different types of rolls and they all were amazing! For dessert we ordered the yuzu lemon tart and the salted caramel bao bun both were delicious…. The bao was really crispy and had a good balance of ice cream to bao and the strawberries were lovely and fresh to cleanse the sweetness from the sauce. Staff were friendly and accommodating! Would definitely recommend people to come try this place out!”
