We happen to come upon Buckingham Arms during a walk around the Buckingham Palace area and just had to stop in (the Spritz specials caught my eye as well as the locals out front having pints). As soon as I walked in and saw a couple digging into a huge Sunday Roast platter (The King Sunday Roast), I was hoping there was a table for us. We settled on sharing a Queen Sunday Roast. It was perfect!! Every bit as delicious as I had hoped for. I saw many pub signs for “The Best Sunday Roast” during my 5 days in London. I don’t know about what the other pubs served but Buckingham Arms had one of the best things I ate in London. The staff— exceptionally warm and friendly. The atmosphere— traditional and authentic—- and clean!! Unexpectedly inexpensive. We will make it a point to come back, Jim!!”

The burger was packed full of flavour, topped with a perfectly cooked fried egg, fresh salad, and served with crispy fries and creamy coleslaw. Every bite felt hearty and satisfying. The atmosphere in the pub was warm and welcoming, with a great vibe that made the meal even more enjoyable. Both the staff and the other customers were genuinely friendly, which added to the overall experience. If you’re looking for a place in London that serves up generous portions, delicious food, and great service, I highly recommend giving the Big Fat Burger at Lord Nelson a try.”

“This was the first time I’ve had a proper Vietnamese Pho. Everything about the meal was fantastic! Flavours, textures, fresh ingredients. Best of all, all the chicken in the menu is halal. The portions were generous, and I left feeling full & satisfied rather than bloated and sluggish. I had the lemongrass chicken, the spicy chicken pho and the coconut milk & red bean drink. Highly recommend this spot for a great meal to enjoy with another person.”

“This is my local pub, and I love coming here especially in winter because they have a fireplace. It’s such a unique place full of history and it feels special to have it so close to the glass towers of Canary Wharf. The terrace overlooks the Thames, which makes the view beautiful. Although, the prices for drinks and food are a bit higher than in a typical pub, it's more like restaurant prices and I do wish they had a wider choice of local beers.”

“100% recommend Hanbury Hall's Coworking Space – I use the space to work freelance, and it's a beautiful & large space with lots of natural light, with a lovely & friendly working environment. Shout out to the barista team who make excellent drinks & are always so friendly and warm to speak with. I've always found spaces to work, it's not over-crowded -- they offer: daily passes, different monthly memberships, with hot drinks & snacks etc, to suit the price package you need. In the cafe they offer all sorts of teas & herbal teas, all the barista coffees you could desire, hot chocolate, iced drinks, soft drinks, and much more. (The cafe is separated by doors to the co-working space so it's not noisy to work there) This is a hidden gem for co-working in Spitalfields and Brick Lane. Fully recommend!”
