“This is such a lovely place to stay! Sarah and Frank made me very welcome, friendly and helpful without being obtrusive - the perfect hosts! The rooms are all extremely well appointed, spotlessly clean, with really comfortable beds. Bathrooms have everything you need and wonderful hot showers with both hand-held and rain shower heads - bliss ! Breakfast is delicious and healthy and presented beautifully! What can I say - it’s fabulous, try it!”

“We had the absolute pleasure to stay the night here after a day in Thorpe Park. Our group was warmly welcomed in the evening and shown to our rooms. Rooms are very modern and have all the utilities you need for a good rest!”

“I have just been back to PLU, for my third time, and it just keeps getting better. I do not know how this place does not have multiple Michelin stars, it is so much better than all of the 2 starred restaurants I have been to. To think that there is just one chef creating all of these dishes alone in the kitchen is absolutely mind boggling. This restaurant should be top in all of the guides, yet it is just quietly tucked away in St John's Wood and no one seems to know about it. Favourite dishes for me this time round... the tuna, no.. the foie gras, who am I kidding it must be at least one of the parts of the 'lobster trilogy'. Maybe it is easier to decide which of the the two desserts was the best... I said the Opera cake & my other half said definitely the Apple & Blackberry Crumble. Thank goodness you don't need to make choices!”

“We came here for our annual Christmas party and had the private area downstairs to ourselves so we really felt at home. The table set up was beautiful, the staff are excellent and tended to our every need. Everything on the menu is delicious! The food is amazing here! “We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding and it was truly perfect! All of the staff were so professional, courteous and attentive. The rooms are fabulous-truly full of opulent nostalgia . The breakfast was utterly outstanding and the home made biccies served with tea in our room a joy! “I stayed in 21-2 , Linden Gardens for a month in July- August 2023. The studio flat was well maintained and had a nice kitchenette and a couch which could be made into a comfortable bed. On the few occasions when I needed some help, the responses were immediate and very helpful and professional. The location was outstanding- few minutes walk to Notting Hill Tube station and Cafe's and Tesco but zero noise in the flat. The laundry in the building was very helpful since we did not have to worry about carrying our dirty laundry around to laundromats. Overall, as they say in UK, smashing!”

“Florence House has many outstanding qualities that make it an incredible place to live. It has great transport links, close to amenities, open areas and awesome community spaces where you can relax and socialise whilst enjoying free tea or coffee from the coffee machine. However, what made it truly shine to me is the welcoming atmosphere and friendliness of Ives, Ash and the rest of the team. Ives and Ash were extremely helpful and reassuring when we had any questions regarding moving in, going the extra mile to really make you feel at home. ^-^”

“Such a cute brunch spot!! The coffee was really lovely, and I ordered the sweet corn fritters which were a delight! Nice to see the menu has a variety from the usual food served at brunch spots. The cannoli was so yum! The staff are attentive, kind and lovely people. Definitely coming back here again. (Was told the chicken and beef is halal)”

“We stayed in the Katherine of Aragon room. It was fantastic. The room was well equipped and VERY clean. We love the area. Easy walk to great restaurants and our favorite wine bar, Vineking. Short walk to a train station for easy access into central London. Would highly recommend. Oh one last thing, the new Lion Gate Cafe across the street is great for breakfast or lunch.”

“I seriously didn't think the peanut butter would work, but damn this is a really good burger. I went for the veggie millionaire, and it was awesome. Very filling though. You only need a double if you're extremely hungry. Not the cheapest burger as well, at £14, with spicy chips at £4.50, but I did not have to eat for the rest of the day. The place has many other veggie options as well, which I appreciated a lot.”

“I’ve been a loyal Daisy Grey customer since 2023, and in that time it’s become far more than just a coffee stop for me — it’s been a constant companion through every stage of my academic and professional life. The team is consistently warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming; they remember faces, orders, and even the little details that make you feel like part of the community. During my undergraduate degree, the outdoor heaters kept me company through countless study sessions. As a teacher, I found myself back here on early mornings, planning lessons with a cup of something extra hot (which they never fail to get just right). And the outdoor plug sockets? They witnessed the highs and lows of my master’s degree — drafts, deadlines, and all. The coffee is always delicious, reliably smooth, and prepared with care. Their pastries are just as unforgettable: the croissants are always fresh, warm, and perfectly flaky, and the banana bread is genuinely the best in town. The fact that the staff remember my regular extra-hot order says everything about the personal touch that sets Daisy Grey apart. I regularly drive an extra ten minutes from work, even on my shortest breaks, just to get a Daisy Grey coffee — it’s genuinely that worth it. Daisy Grey isn’t just a café; it’s been a backdrop to my growth, a comforting constant, and the best local spot I’ve ever had the pleasure of calling “mine.” Highly recommended.”

“Have always wanted to visit as I pass this pub every morning and evening on my way to and back from work. There’s always people in the pub so checked out their website and saw they do Sunday roast. Took my partner and his mum there just this Sunday and not disappoint. My and my partner had a mixed roast, mum had the pork belly roast. Lovely range of cocktails. We had 6 cocktails from the list and they are all exceptional. The desserts were the highlight of our meal. Mixed berries crumble, sticky toffee pudding with creamy vanilla ice cream, a three-scoops bowl of pistachios ice cream and vanilla ice cream. Must say that their ice creams were really lovely like home made. My new favourite place definitely. Staff were efficient and not overly friendly. Food comes out in really good timing despite of the restaurant being so full. Exceptional eatery for New Eltham.”

Within just a 5-minute walk, you have access to a variety of amenities, including both premium and affordable grocery stores, a cinema and a gym/spa. Additionally, the proximity to the Jubilee Line (Finchley Road station is literally right at your doorstep!) allows for quick and easy travel throughout London, with most destinations just a 30-minute ride away. Such a central and accessible location is a rare find, as many areas in London require compromises. In addition to its prime location, the rooms themselves offer remarkable convenience, featuring modern design, high-quality appliances, and exceptionally comfortable beds. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to ensure a pleasant stay. A special mention goes to Agna and Selna, whose professionalism and impeccable service truly elevated my experience. From their friendly, daily check-ins to their prompt responses to every request, their care and diligence has made my stay truly exceptional.”

“This has to be one of our favourite hotels from our 8 week Europe trip! Everything was 10/10 from the warm welcome when we arrived to the turn down service goodies each night. Attention to detail is second to none, we told the front desk staff that we were seeing a stage show during our stay, we then later that night walked into our room to popcorn and lollies ready for our show! The entire staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The doorman are just lovely, always saying “welcome back” after a long day of walking around. We enjoyed a delicious burger at “Sem’s” whilst Andrew played the most fantastic jazz pieces on the piano! We sat there for 3 hours just listening away! The pillows were heaven and the bed was like a cloud! We will definitely be back!”

“A great hotel in a great location. Literally steps to Trafalgar Square and Charing cross tube station. Plenty of pubs nearby for classic pub food and a beer. The hotel itself is totally original- Scotland Yard Police station converted to a hotel, complete with memorabilia on the walls . Good size rooms which was very comfy. Great staff, very friendly. Cocktail lounge was classy - good cocktails and live music on Friday/ Saturday. There are cookie cutter hotels which are all pretty average- then there is this amazing boutique hotel in a historic building . No contest. I know where I am staying when I am next in London.”

“This was my 2nd time visiting. The first time was so great that we decided to give the Sunday buffet a try and wow it didn’t disappoint at all. The food was served fresh with lots of choice. Tasted incredible, the chicken wings in particular were a fantastic starter, one of the best I’ve had. The mains and side dishes were equally as nice, full of flavour without being overly salty. A big shout out to Mosh for looking after everyone, you were great to chat with, and your hospitality was second to none.”
