“We had a great stay at Premier Inn Watford North! The location is perfect—only about a 10-minute Uber ride to Harry Potter World. The service was excellent, and a big shoutout to Michael, our server, who was amazing with our two older girls and really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this place for families visiting the studios!”

“I stayed last night for a business trip. Considering this was one of the more affordable hotels, I was impressed by The Mandolay. Great rooms. Attentive staff and great bar / dining area. Only small critique was the showers aren't the largest, but no issues whilst I was there.”

“Very quiet property, safe and secure and amazing location. My husband and l have been staying for over a month and are really pleased we chose to stay here. Very close to the train station, Sainsbury’s, and the Shopping Centre is just round the corner too. Lots of lovely cafes and shops nearby , as well as great value for money , extremely helpful staff; Katie is such a great host and Jamie is always happy to help! “We celebrated with a group of 11 guests and were accommodated (little tight but cozy) in the back room. The food was really excellent with fresh flavors and good service. Loads of vegetarian options and I think we ordered just about every vegetarian starter and main courses. Noteworthy mock duck, lettuce wraps and aubergine stir fry in soybean sauce were my fav. Dessert was ok! Wish they had been more creative with the mains as the bulk were prepared in soybean sauce.”

“This is now our only Indian we order from in the area. We searched for 8 years to find the best Indian near home, we've not ordered anywhere else for the last year. Moza spice always delivers fast, the food is always steaming hot and fresh. We've tried many dishes from here now and every single one was delicious. They genuinely can't be beaten! “Stayed 2 nights in twin room. Rooms lovely and clean tea, coffee, kettle etc. Good location to train and bus station easy walking distance and flat. If your going to Harry Potter studios great location to drive or catch bus. Food in pub was fine, and good value for money. Staff are amazing especially Briony. Would stay again.”

“Great location for Heathrow flights, obviously! Very easy to book, park and relax prior to early flights, the concierge were outstanding. The bar and food were excellent. We were told exactly what was best for our early flight, they gave us timimgs for the Shuttle, which takes 6 minutes to Terminal 5. We will definately be staying there again.”

“This is a great place to stay if you need to be in this area. It is clean, comfortable and friendly. Easy in and out. Not a luxury hotel but a variety of room configurations snd have what you need. Warm, lots of towels, nice bedding. This is my second stay here and will come again.”

“To the owner thank you for clarifying! When googling it only comes up as chicken is halal and JustEat etc only list the chicken dishes as halal. But I am glad to hear it's 100% halal I will be coming back!”

“A converted theatre carefully restored to retain some original features. Conveniently suited near Forest Hill train station and good public transport links. Parking is restricted in front of the building as it on a red line route. However there is ample parking behind Sainsburys Store. There are 2 seating levels with an outside garden area prefect in the summer. There are large round tables which was great as we were a group of 8 adults. They served classic pub menus with specific nights like Curry Nights. There is no loud music so its a great spot for peace and quiet. The atmosphere was relaxing with the feeling of space in that you are not sitting on top of each other. The decorations and high ceilings and pictures on the walls add to the ambiance. Free WiFi is also available. There is a family seating area at the front of the building. The food is good value for money. I certainly will visit again.”

“Revamped under new ownership, lacks the variey of real ales on draught but vast improvement in food. The chicken wings are amazing! Great selection of music on the jukebox as well. Most recently, I had the chicken pizza, which tasted like home cooking at its best.”

“Regularly going twice a year for sewing retreats or courses I really enjoy my stays but it’s the staff who make the difference. Stella on reception was delightful and really friendly to everyone but this last visit Aylesha who was managing the bar on Saturday deserves a shout out. She works hard in a very demanding area of the hotel but still found time to accommodate our request to find a remote and access a programme for us. The kitchen staff work hard and probably don’t get the praise they deserve so well done to them my only thoughts are the chef could review the combinations of food on offer some of them are are abit odd to my tastes. I enjoy an early visit to the leisure facilities but please can someone put the remote back in the gym. I look forward to our November visit Well done to all the staff”

“Came to the York and Albany restaurant with my partner and parents today. It was really lovely. The setting is lovely and bright, and the front of house were attentive. The food was delicious, especially the signature beef wellington! The cocktails were fab too. Will definitely be back ☺️”
