Pleasurable dining experience in London

“If you are looking for a no frills room that is in a superb location, this hotel is for you. I only stayed one night for business. When I checked in I was feeling terrible and I arrived early. Check in wasn't for another hour, I was going to cancel my room and book at another Marriott since I have status and usually can check in early. The young lady working at the front desk was super helpful and saw that I wasn't feeling well, I didn't catch her name I wish I had because she sprung into action. She told me to have a seat and she was going to see what she could do to help. She was so kind and empathetic and was able to get me into a room quickly so I could rest. I appreciated that gesture beyond belief! The room was clean, no frills, just a bed, small bathroom and necessities. If you've ever stayed on a cruise ship, the rooms are exactly that of a cruise ship. The location is across the street from Victoria train and underground station with food and transportation. Even though it was only for one night, it was a wonderful experience with Marriott hospitality that makes me continue to be a loyal customer.”

“I had an excellent experience at this restaurant in London. The food was outstanding, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. A special mention goes to Davide, who made the evening exceptional. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly from start to finish. His recommendations were spot on and he made us feel very well looked after. Highly recommended. “Booked in for 2 nights at St James' Court and it was a fantastic experience. Service was top notch and very friendly. We used the George V conference room which was fantastic room and plentiful of space for a group of 10. The break out area within the meeting room was very helpful for lunch and comfort breaks too. Used the spa for an hour on the 2nd day and it was a relaxing experience - wish I could have stayed for longer. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic and so many options for both. Really enjoyed the whole experience and the team at A Taj made a real effort in making sure you had a great time.”

“Rooms are almost perfect except the size. Smaller but cleverly designed. There is no wardrobe that you can hang many clothes, either you keep them in the baggage or bring an iron. The location is great, very close to almost everything. People are friendly, they try to do their best to solve any need.”

“Our favourite spot in London! We’ve been coming to The Ned since our very first dinner together, and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, the service exceptional, and the atmosphere simply unmatched. On our last visit there was a brief power cut for about 30 minutes, but honestly, it made the evening even more romantic with the candlelight — and the staff kindly offered complimentary wine, which was such a lovely touch. There’s often a live band playing, adding to the magic of the night, and it’s conveniently close to the station. For me, if I want to take someone for a truly special evening, The Ned is always the place to go.”

“Great little modern hotel in a very handy location. The rooms are on the smaller side but well designed, and very quiet. The breakfast is good value. And a huge shout out to the exceptional staff, especially the lovely lady who helped me extend my stay. She went the extra mile.”

“We just used this hotel for one night to see a show. Location was brilliant - a minute from Carnaby Street and Soho. Check in was hassle free, and the room was perfect. Not huge, but there was a classic Premier Inn bed, great shower, and everything you needed for your stay. The room was spotless! Service was excellent. We needed a couple of extra pillows that were provided without fuss. All in all, a nice place for a short stay!”

“Me and my partner had a lovely stay we will definitely be coming back, staff were so polite, friendly and helpful!!. The spa was a lovely touch and the breakfast was really nice with good selection I should have stayed for longer!!. Only thing I would add is smart tv with YouTube or Netflix on it but not the end of the world haha.”

“I recommend this hotel if you want to be within easy walking distance for Abba Voyage. I stayed for two nights in a double room that was well kitted out and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming and super helpful. You can have pizza at the hotel for your evening meal but if that isn't your thing there are many eating places close by.”

“Very nice hotel. I loved. Mattress really comfy. Room is very useable. Breakfast downstairs good regular intercontinental breakfast. But upstairs Daniel is amazing ! His coffee is the best coffee in London. He is kind and very helpful. And reception girls so lovely. They help about some recommendations restaurants and top places around the hotel. Gym have enough cardio and dumbbells.”

“Stayed for a couple of days at this property while working with a client. The staff here was outstanding. You expect helpful and courteous, but there was an extra level of helpfulness and kindness to the service provided. We used the business conference services and for a very reasonable price, we had opening coffee/tea service, two catered breaks and a hot buffet lunch - all served in a very, very creative and appealing manner. The level of service from the business services team was superb, even paying attention to when we took breaks to ensure that a meal was shifted if needed. I would love to replicate this property and what they are doing in other locations!”

“Our fifth time staying here. The bar/dining area has been, very tastefully, renovated. Staff are excellent, professional and friendly (special mention for Ash, who is excellent) Rooms are fairly basic, but clean and tidy. Everything you need really. Location is great, with 2 tube stations within 3 mins walk and the, interesting, Spittalfields area 2 mins away. Will definitely be back. Thanks to all the guys who work there.”

“I recently stayed two nights at Ibis London Excel Docklands while attending a business event at Excel London and I had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the venue, which made attending the event very convenient. The team was friendly, welcoming and always ready to help. The hotel itself felt cosy and comfortable with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially loved the breathtaking view from my room, it really added a special touch to the experience. Overall, a great stay in an excellent location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Excel London for business or leisure.”

“Super helpful staff (can't remember names, sorry). Had a bit of an issue with the meal deal but it was sorted out quickly. Room was clean and very quiet. I have been to many Premier Inns and this one did the best breakfast. Will definitely book this hotel again when I come to town for a gig.”

“I have to update my review. We asked them to remove a cobweb that is on the ceiling above the bed. They did not. Decent room, small but fine. OK staff, simple breakfast provided. Location was outstanding for us. Quiet area, easy access to Underground and walking to many attractions”

“Excellent location, in the city very close to two train stations, with plenty of services around (shops, restaurants, cafes,…). It was also possible to reach many attractions on foot. The room was big for London standards. Bed was comfortable. I got a good deal on the room. On the minus side, It was a back room, so the view was not great, but on the other side it was quiet. Also, They should do housecleaning every day rather than every other day. In any case, if you find a good deal, you can stay there.”

“I booked this hotel for one week, and I was especially impressed with the receptionist, Nadia, who was so friendly and kind. However, when my key didn’t work, one of the ladies, who is a supervisor, didn’t help me and told me to wait until the reception people arrive. I waited more than 15 minutes. It was not a great experience, but after that, Nadia helped me so much and let me into my room. The hotel's location is great, and the reception staff are very kind and lovely.”

“I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Bond Street and was genuinely impressed. My refurbished room was incredibly comfortable with thoughtful details and lovely finishing touches throughout. Breakfast was outstanding and easily the best I have had in a long time with great variety and quality. The staff were so lovely and attentive and I could not have asked for more. The location is perfect right in the heart of London with excellent shopping and restaurants just steps away. I will definitely be back next time for pleasure rather than business.”

“Really friendly staff on check in, and in the bar on 16th of November. Fast check in and all the information we needed. It’s a busy hotel but we slept perfectly. Comfy beds and nice room. They must have good quality sound proof as we never hear the busy road outside. Can’t go wrong from the price’s Travelodge are offering. Good location for the train station and Westfield.”

“Stayed here for 2 months for a work project and enjoyed my stay very much. Location is excellent, very close to Portobello Road Market, local restaurants, shop and tube station. The apartment had everything from washer dryer, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living spaces. Will book again!”
