“This building is part of the brand new development of South Gardens at Elephant and Castle. Opened in mid-2018 Drake Apartments contribute to creation of the nice neighbourhood around Elephant Park. It's only 4 minutes walk away from the underground station, on a spacious road. Flats facing the courtyard as opposed to the street are quieter and probably even nicer.”

“Had my baby shower here on Saturday 24 August 2024. It was such a lovely experience, warm, kind and attentive staff. We had excellent food, delicious quiches, cakes, and sausage rolls, and my favourite scones!! I would certainly recommend for any function or even just a lunch or cream tea. A great place to take family and friends!”

“Staff are rare breed of genuinely kind hearted people... I Delivered a parcel here today and accidentally unloaded some big and heavy ones that were for a different address in the park. By the time I turned around two of the guys had the large, heavy parcels on their shoulders and were walking them up the hill to my van. They then gave me directions to the right place. Thank you!!!!!! I'm very much appreciative of your help! I cant comment on the coffee as I didn't have time to stop and get one but it smelled lovely in there! The decor was 10/10, as was the atmosphere!”

“I don’t have the words to describe how nice this Hotel is. Easily the most luxury hotel I’ve stayed at in London from the Cleanliness all the way through to the pool and wellness areas. I actually planned my engagement and proposed to my now fiancée at the upper terrace of the hotel (pictured) and it was entirely coordinated by the most professional, able and kind events planner Dominique. Without her my proposal plans would have fallen through so I owe so much to her, as well as the staff on site at the hotel on the day including Jess who was very helpful front of house. If I could give ten stars I would and would highly recommend anyone staying here for any occasion.”

“Couldn't fault a thing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully presented and clean with great facilities. It was quiet, comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was included and it was top notch - without doubt the best buffet breakfast we have ever had in a UK hotel. Even the coffee was delicious! We would definitely stay there or at another Toby Carvery again and would highly recommend it.”

“This hotel offers great value for money. The lobby area and bar are impressive, and were particularly lovely with Christmas decorations up. For the price we paid we were very happy with the hotel services. The only minor criticism is that the room was very small and wouldn't have been comfortable for longer than a one night stay. The walls are also quite thin with a lot of noise heard from outside and the corridors. However, this didn't negatively impact our stay and we would return to this hotel in future.”

“Both my daughter and I had our lunch here today. Was served by a gentleman called Carl who was very professional, chirpy and engaging. Food was nice and tasty too which a good portion size for the price in my opinion. Would recommend going there!!”

“great hotel , value for money (£72 for one now inc parking was perfect) for what we wanted, 10 min walk to the tube station...2 stops to Gunnersbury park so was idea. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Had a luggage room we could leave our bags and checked in after the event (11pm) Room was clean, had tea and coffee, quiet and had a ceiling fan to keep us cool which was perfect as was warm. The only negative is that the breakfast was too early (finished 8.45am) but we would stay here again.”

Now, about the hotel: Location: It is perfect for visiting central London easily using public transportation. Every location we wanted to visit was no longer than 45 minutes away using public transportation. Cleanliness and housekeeping: They did a great job, and there was nothing to fault. Bed: It's a little too soft for our backs, so we didn't really like them. We would have liked them better if they were moderately firm. Bottom line:Do I recommend this hotel? Absolutely.”

“Very clean, spacious accommodation with parking directly in front of the small hotel. I booked it for my visiting family and we were very happy. The double aspect room for two contained a king size and single bed with TV and small fridge, etc. The room was heated before our arrival to a cosy temperature for winter. Enough room for luggage. Lovely high ceilings with crisp white walls and bedding. The hotel is connected to an Indian Restaurant, but the rooms did not smell of spices at all, in case you were concerned. Flexible booking in and out. Friendly staff. We will definitely use this hotel again.”

“Very reasonably priced, only 4 stops by bus from Stratford, very clean and spacious room with private bathroom, kettle, tea/coffee. Very pleasantly surprised. Totally recommend.”

“I visited for breakfast this Sunday, and even though the restaurant was really busy — around 50 people at one time — the service was absolutely amazing! The manager on duty pradeep palepu was working all by himself and still managed everything so smoothly. I’ve honestly never seen someone handle such a crowd with so much professionalism and calmness. A big shoutout also to Chef& G.M. Pat, who did an outstanding job in the kitchen. The food was delicious, hot, and perfectly cooked — you could tell how much effort went into every plate despite how busy it was. The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and had a really nice atmosphere. This was definitely my best experience so far, and I’m really looking forward to visiting again soon. Amazing job to both the manager and the chef — you truly made my Sunday special!”

“A very conviniently located indepedently operated self service house hotel within minutes drive to Heathrow Airport. We had a fantastic stay, all our needs were met in this very well designed house with a park nearby, very clean and prestine accommodation.”

“Great location! Very close to to Earl‘s Court tube Station and various bus stops. The area is also not very noisy, we slept with open windows every night. Our room was available before check in time and the staff were all very friendly! The room was also great, good size for London, especially the bathroom.”
