“Dr. Khalid is the only dentist I've been seeing in the last year and a half. My teeth have seen too many breaks and fillings in the past couple of years, which I've only had temporary work done by private dentists to fix! She is upfront about costs and I knew she truly cared about the state of my teeth when she took her time to ensure the filling on my broken tooth was done properly and carefully. “It is common knowledge that NHS is on its knees and that an average waiting time for an appointment is couple of weeks. That's why I ended up trying to deal with an insect bite turning nasty at home and kept dismissing family suggestions to get medical attention. Finally on a late afternoon on 28/08/25 I called surgery thinking this was going to be a waste of time. Well, it was amazing experience. Lovely and attentive lady receptionist listened and acted with due care. She directed me to another surgery, booked my appointment, send me location. I was seen by a doctor one hour later, got my prescription, was told where to go to get meds at that late hour. Everyone - reception team at Park Way surgery, reception team at Farley Road surgery, doctor at Farley Road surgery - were amazing. And that's not a word I use often in same sentence as "NHS", sadly. I called next day to thank the reception team. I understand the constraints but I can't help to be impressed by my experience.”
