“So happy to have found a lovely boarding centre where we know our rabbit Harley will be well looked after when we're away. Lorraine clearly cares a great deal about the animals staying with her and we really appreciated that Lorraine shared a photo of Harley on the Now Boarding Croydon Facebook page while we were on holiday so we could see how he was getting on. Would highly recommend!”

“Great furniture store and cafe. We had to return some furniture as we ordered the wrong item our mistake. The return process was easy you just enter a code then go to a till 40 seconds and it was all done. We then headed upstairs to try the cafe, it was breakfast time so that's what we had I tried the £2.99 vegetarian breakfast it was delicious the coffee tasted good also. For the price and quality it without a doubt its a great breakfast stop. Someone on the reviews said on their visit the cafe was dirty, on my visit I found the cafe area spotless and fresh throughout. My appreciation to the cleaning staff thanks. After that we headed through the store again I really enjoyed it I found no faults whatsoever. Disabled access is brilliant throughout. My only concern was all the staff we encountered were very unhappy and non engaging without any exceptions such a shame, perhaps its not a good place to work maybe.”

He made sure everything was perfect – checking in during the meal, recommending great menu items, and even making sure our order came out just right. Ram, our host, made the experience extra special — he surprised us with a bottle of prosecco and chocolates as we were there for a special occasion, which was such a lovely touch. “We were so impressed of the staff, the reception lady checked us in early. The breakfast is amazing, overall the foods are so fresh and delicious. Adela was so kind to assist us about collecting our car from nearby mall where we parked. The hotel has a strategic location, it’s surrounded with good restaurants. “Very nice hotel. Is not expensive but the services are very good for the money. The rooms are clean, every day the cleaners change the bed sheets, towels and consumables. The rooms have big LCD TV, air conditioning, hair dryer, kettle, mini fridge, safe and microwave oven. The room doors are locked with electronic latches wich sometimes doesn't work properly because of magnetic cards, but the problem is very well known by the hotel employees and they will change your card without any problems. Parking is not free and you can park at the basement of the hotel or into Ibis hotel parking.”

“Seven Dials Beckenham was recommended to me by a family friend, I needed help and advice regarding my hair colour which I had been struggling with for a while. Rosie & Shanel took care of my hair brilliantly, from the moment I walked in the door I felt completely confident and reassured they know their stuff and could help! Being a family owned & run business the atmosphere in the salon is very friendly and relaxed, which is perfect for me as I am very low maintenance! I left the salon feeling a thousand times better and full of helpful tips and advice on how to get the best out of my new hair colour, and really happy knowing I have found a great new local salon. They also have a beauty therapy room, run by Lauren the therapist, who does nails, waxing & massages etc, didn’t have a treatment this time, next time! Highly recommended this lovely team for all your beauty needs.”

“Le Bon Cafe, a popular spot for breakfast is an unsuspecting Moroccan restaurant which I have been meaning try. Finally went in but didn't try the Moroccan dishes as planned but will revisit again another time. To be fair, the Moroccan menu had a good range of the usual suspects like the tangine, pancakes and briwat. It seems the breakfast is more popular possibly because it is cheaper than the Moroccan dishes. I had the American pancakes with salmon and scrambled egg which was how it should be. It was served stacked which was quite different and the pancakes were thick and soft unlike the supermarket ones which you can buy. Will return for the Moroccan dishes so I can compare it to the ones at Shepherds bush which are a third cheaper.”

“This is an absolutely fabulous park in Norwood. There are beautiful open spaces to walk your dog and lovely paths under trees. There is a huge lake which is home to many birds and wildlife. Very relaxing part of London. Can’t recommend enough to spend some time walking here and it is surprisingly quiet.”

“Lovely pub! Service was friendly and efficient. The pub was clean both inside and outside. There is a terrace at the back with some table and booths. The booths are equipped with heaters so you can enjoy them during all seasons. Food was nice and portions were sufficient for a group of 4. Toilets were clean. I would recommend this pub for any type of event. You can enjoy a pint with friends, or a party with colleagues. They also have live music sometimes so check the board at the entrance for information.”

“We held our Christmas party at Project B last night. It was such a fun time in a fabulous venue! The staff were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us including setting up table tennis! The DJ mixed in our favourite requests and kept us dancing through the night. I would highly recommend Project B.”

“We booked for a large party of us to come late after a local event on a Monday night. We were going to arrive at about the time the kitchen was closing. Amy and the team were absolutely brilliant in making the whole thing work. We pre-ordered food, which was waiting for us when we arrived. Staff stayed late especially - which was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to accommodate us and could not have been friendlier or more helpful. It was a lovely event - good food, reasonably priced and brilliant staff. Thank you to everyone at The Crown - it was a fab birthday celebration!”
