“I hired the Grand Suite at the New Inn for my 60th birthday party with 110 guests. Everything was perfect! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Thanks especially to Aimee who ensured I was able to set up decorations etc. early in the day. The room is beautiful with a lovely big dance floor and nice big tables with plenty of seats. The food was delicious and plenty of it. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. Great air conditioning in the main room on a very hot night was very welcome! My guests were all extremely impressed with the venue. Thank you all the staff for making everything work out so well - brilliant!”

I’ve been twice; had a jacket potato and a baguette and both were very fresh and tasty; lovely oat cappuccino; friendly and swift service; clean tables and seating areas and good value for money. “Have ordered takeaway from this Restaurant for some years and it has always been spot on. A recent change in management had me concerned but the food is still delicious! Having reopened ‘dining in’, we tried the a la carte all you can eat feast on a Sunday. Absolutely loved the duck pancakes, some of the best I’ve had. Everything is cooked fresh to order. The new owner is super friendly and brings the food out herself. It’s a shame the restaurant isn’t busier but hopefully if they keep up the quality food and service plus market a bit more this will change.”

“They have a toddler group that starts at 10:30, with singing, stories and crafts. Brook cafe is a welcoming environment that my kids love to play in, there are toys for little ones to play with. The food tastes great and is reasonably priced. The cafe closes at 2 and is open on Thursdays.”

No offence taken tho im pretty sure she was only doing her job. Speed of food arrival from order to serving to the table can increase. It did take atleast 25 minutes. Will we return? Most likely. “Shanar, Page and Angel were amazing. The vibes were perfect for a Wetherspoons — social, welcoming and outgoing. Even though the security was a bit hostile, the team completely changed the atmosphere. Mr. Hostile is clearly good at his job, just very… well, hostile — hence the name. But the ladies were incredibly accommodating and accepting. The banter was 10/10, and they’ve got a brilliant team overall. Big shout-out to the manager, Shanar — she’s brilliant. Clean, well-maintained, and rarely overcrowded — it’s honestly a steal at this price point. Whether you’re doing laps or just looking to unwind, the atmosphere is always calm and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the experience at the bowling alley doesn’t match the standard of the rest of the facility. Booking a lane feels like you need to be a mind-reader or a magician, and the staff there could really use some basic training in customer service. We were rushed during our game — to the point where we weren’t even able to complete our turns properly, which was disappointing. If the bowling alley team could take a note from the gym and pool staff, The Pavilion would truly be a five-star facility across the board.”

It does need to be re designed as where the till is, people are walking through the door, trying to order their drinks, pay, then move over to stand in the queue to collect their drinks whilst other people are trying to leave the shop. It can be chaos when the shop is busy, it should really be looked at and re designed. The merchandise can also be hit and miss with not much of an option at times!!”

“Have been ordering from Mumbai kitchen for 3 years now, at least once a month I will treat myself to their "Your choice meal", for a decent price you get a full meal: main, side (or starter), choice of rice, poppadom and naan. When I collect myself is always ready within 20 min of ordering, when asking delivery, it's quicker than most deliveries. Staff is always friendly and smily, so always a good experience. Finally, food is tasty and good size portions.”
