“A real nice experience in Indian dining. Started off with the reviews of course and then the dining. The cider choice, was a koppaberg which was refreshing. Thr samosas in the chaat were complimented with channa aka chickpeas and vatiyon other accoutrements. Delicious. The murg tikka was quite good too but would have preferred fit bit more heat n the green chutney served with it. On to the main course with lamb saag and dal makhani with breads. Both ere well cooked and excellently spiced to provide a great end to the meal. Unfortunately no space for kulfi.”

“This place deserves much higher review points. Everything is perfect. Literally perfect It has been around many years. Feels so cosy with carpet and cushion decoration. Lighting and music really on point and good. Really helpful staff. Enough time between the meals. Had beef tartare and tempura squid and prawn as a starter. Burger and beef stroganoff for main. “Stumbled upon this place after getting on the wrong bus during a recent trip to London. So get we did. Visted a lunchtime, had the most delicious lamb kebab on the spit I've ever had. Rice was fluffy and tasted lovely. Great size portions too. Staff were lovely. Wish we lived closer as this would definitely be a regular.”

“We hired the whole restaurant for my 60th and had the best time, with the most delicious food and fantastic service. We couldn’t have been looked after any better. The whole team are exceptional -proactive and highly responsive when needed. We had a fantastic dj too so danced the night away after eating. “I’ve spent a wonderful evening dining at Gola with my italian friends. The menu proposes a real selection of italian dishes which are excellently reproduced and served in a surprising plate up, as you can see from the pictures. We finally get to try the famous Cacio & Pepe by Gola which didn’t disappoint me and my italian friends. Another must-try is the Orecchiette alle cime di rapa; and as starters the Focaccia, the Fried polenta and the Burrata. We also tasted a bottle of Southern Italian red wine which was kindly suggested by the staff, since the wine selection is pretty good and it was hard to make a choice. The staff and the service in general were very welcoming in respect of true italian tradition. I totally recommend this place to everyone that appreciate the real italian cuisine and culture, for a dinner between friends, family or with a loved one. The menu also proposes vegan options and the restaurant is children and pet friendly. I will surely come back to have again some wonderful pasta and to try the meat-based dishes which sounded amazing too.”

“My partner and I have recently moved to the area, my parents came to visit so we booked la casita. As we are new to Streatham/London in general, we did not know what to expect but this place was absolutely amazing. We had a bottle of wine, a jug of sangria, paella, steak, lasagne, bolognese, as well as starters and desserts. “Usually head up to Twickenham on the weekends so surprised I haven’t popped into visit this place already as been looking for a decent breakfast/brunch venue in the area. This place doesn’t disappoint. Full Breakfast and brunch menu and really attentive staff. Ordered the house breakfast with tea - very good portion (the beans surprisingly good) - also do Eggs Florentine and Eggs Bendict but next time will try the Traditional Shakshuka. Only a short walk from Twickenham station, near the William Web Ellis pub.”
