“I always use Royal Cars whenever I need to go anywhere via taxi. The service is unmatched. They are always on time or early, always suited and booted, always have a drink waiting for you in the cleanest of cars. The tracking options to see where your driver is located is extremely helpful. I recently had the best driver I have ever had, Andrei. He was extremely kind, helpful and professional. I honestly could not rate him highly enough. His car is also extremely comfortable, smelt absolutely amazing and got me and my partner home safely and in good time. Such a great company! ✨”

“Really lovely, friendly little café that has the distinction of serving a selection of excellent loose-leaf teas - this is unusual nowadays, with so many places focusing on serving coffee rather than tea. The sandwiches are very good too. It's tucked away in a pretty, quiet street with rows of18th century houses, a few minutes away from the touristy bustle of central Greenwich. Well worth the slight detour.”

“I've just got back from a lovely lunch at Coffee Bliss Cafe. From the minute we walked in, the staff we very welcoming and friendly. They even gave my 4-year old a little sweet treat on the house, which was a nice touch! The food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Just moved into the area and arrived without reservation, the team were more than happy to fit four of us (& our dog!) into the restaurant - the service was exceptional - provided beer tasters before ordering the white chocolate stout they had on tap along with a great selection. The menu is brilliant, we all had burgers they were delicious. Cocktails after also great. Definite 5 star spot!”

“Went for a birthday breakfast at the Royal Lancaster hotel, I had the breakfast buffet and was very happy with everything, the service was great, the breakfast options were plenty, with sweet and savoury there was something for everyone, please note if you’re Muslim you’ll have to request halal sausages from the kitchen as the ones out aren’t halal but glad there’s an option for that. The French toast was also amazing. Marcelina, Mounir and Ayska were lovely and very attentive throughout our breakfast, thank you again.”

“Had lunch at Royal Mahal and it honestly hit the spot. The food was delicious, flavourful, fresh, and felt like real comfort after a long time of average meals. The vibe was nice and clean, and the staff were super friendly too. The highlight for me? The rasmalai, it instantly reminded me of home. Soft, perfectly sweet, and the best way to end the meal. “Lovely breakfast after Morden parkrun (short walk up the road) Comes with tea, coffee, or a can of drink and three hash browns was a bonus. Also, allow you to switch out an item in set menu if you like. Only downside is that seating is restricted to tables of four as static chairs.”

“I was hesitant upon entering this cafe but oh my gosh, I finally come to the realisation that you should never judge a book by its cover. Upon entering the cafe, I was greeted right away. Then and there, I thought this service is better than novikov and sexyfish combined. Adding to that, I got myself a coffee. Tasted like sweet clouds oozing down my oesophageas and settling in the unseen gaps of my belly. All jokes aside, coffee was amazing, service was amazing, and price was perfect, would defo recommend!”

“Have stayed here twice and have been blown away both times. Rooms are beautiful, great attention to detail with the treats in the room, everything is clean and the facilities available are fantastic. The Spa in particular was a wonderful experience, the staff are so warming and knowledgeable, and the massage was 10/10. The breakfast has a fantastic selection, proper quality ingredients and you can order cooked dishes off a menu if you wish. Will definitely be back. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, the staff are so friendly and will look after you. Was also very useful when I had a concert at the O2 as you could just go down this long corridor that connects to the O2, so no needs to go outside!”

“I don't know how I found this please but I just did after hours of searching a non-chained hotel, classic British looking that has maintained its elegance, remote location and offers wonderful perks and I was lucky to find this place. We booked to celebrate our overdue wedding anniversary and our only regret is that we could have stayed one more day! The building and setting looks like one of those that appears in Downtown Abbey's series! The reception staff (despite being new) attended to us and checked us in by letting us know our room was upgraded. She was courteous and soft spoken. We requested 3 course dinner meal as part of our stay, which was fulfilled as well. Our room was gorgeous, there was a hand written note with gesture of box of chocolates, which I am thankful for. It is to welcome us on our anniversary stay. The room was rustic, classic and clean with office table and a soft with a view. The standard condiments were available such as teas and coffees but in addition there were biscuits, popcorns and crisps. Once checked in, we went out to walk around the gorgeous building and then towards Virginia Lake. We got back and went for our 3 course meal. The dining experience was slightly a let down. Both courses (starters and main) had limited options and the ones I would have gone for had extra supplement charges. So we ended up having what's offered as part of the package - I had pork chop, it was dry and had no flavour and my wife had plaice, which had £10 supplement but she too didn't enjoy it that much. Our pudding however something we both enjoyed. However, our breakfast experience compensated for the dinner experience! The spread wasn't overbearing, yet wasn't too little either. The English breakfast looked freshly cooked, there was no strained liquid on bacon (though it was a bit dry), sausages, hash browns, mushrooms looked too tempting to resist. They had freshly baked pastries as well and cold breakfast like yogurt/berries/salami/fruits etc. I would go back to this hotel just for the breakfast! It was so comforting. On this occasion, it might be a pure luck - we went on a weekend where the hotel was hosting "wedding show", so at our point of check out, the singer Frank Cognoscenti of Sinatra Tribute was performing. We spent 20-25 mins listening to Sinatra songs which was wonderfully sung by this gentlemen, who also sang My Way at my request...what a way to end our weekend away. With or without Sinatra, with or without dining experience, we would come back here again as we loved the location, the building and the hospitality of this hotel. Anyone who reads my reviews by now would note, its not just the food or the how "up market" it is but its more about little gestures that make you feel warm and cosy and want to come back again. And thats what RBH has achieved. Highly recommended.”

“A friend brought me here for a meet up as she lives in London and I live near Brighton. The waiter service was great, Mete was helpful about the food and friendly and fun. However, it was the food that knocked me out. I'm a veggie and the nut roast was fabulous, as was everything else. Top marks, you beat the top veggie restaurant in Brighton by a mile.”
