“I thought I’d share my thoughts following my third (and longest) stay at Latitude. I got to know about the apartment block through friends who recognise that I needed a longer-term solution for staying in London for my work. My main home is in Spain. However I’m frequently in London so I decided that I would take a longer term lease. The apartment is perfect for me, from its positioning, (close enough to the station and town), to its general physical appointment. It’s in beautiful condition and if ever there have been tiny inevitable niggles the apartments management have pretty much fixed them there and then on the day that help was required. I find everybody associated with the building to be really pleasant and helpful. I can’t recommend this place any higher.”

Lorraine clearly cares a great deal about the animals staying with her and we really appreciated that Lorraine shared a photo of Harley on the Now Boarding Croydon Facebook page while we were on holiday so we could see how he was getting on. “Bought my ball python from here today. Absolutely wonderful. All snakes are healthy, well nourished and friendly. Lots of reptiles to choose from and wonderful people who own it. Very knowledgeable and kind hearted couple who are very supportive and honest. All reptiles are in clean, well ventilated vivariums/terrariums and are obviously very well loved. Will absolutely 100% recommend and will definitely be coming back again!”

“The best service we've ever had from an insurance company. I'm an 8 year old Viszla called Bella. I've been insured with LV for 4 years and never been ill, not even a cold. But when I got a couple of lumps on my tummy and leg and they were getting bigger the vet said I should have them removed as a precaution. She did it the following week and I went home wearing a very un-flattering doggy onesie to cover my stitches. Anyway, I went back on Monday and I've got the all clear! Horray! My human said he got through to another human on the phone and was sent a claim form by email. It was very easy to fill in and the vet sent it off for him last week. He got paid today and said it's the best service he's ever had from an insurance company.”

“I’ve had the good fortune to be taken to Croydon University Hospital around 03:00 am. on Wednesday 5th November for blood test. The chest pain I had was caused by my heart, I was told. Heart attack?! For the next seven days I’ve had the best attention and the most polite care I could imagine. The food was far superior than in 2017 when I went through a similar experience in the hospital. My heartfelt thanks to everyone taking care of me, I’m truly grateful.”

The team arrived promptly with a phone call 20 mins prior, fast, efficient and took all the stress out of the process. “Absolutely fantastic service from Ben. 100 percent would recommend. If you are looking for an honest, skilled and reasonably priced mechanic in the area look no further. I contacted Ben a few weeks ago with an issue I had with my parking brake. What started out as a small issue turned out to be a huge job as we discovered more and more bits that needed doing. This issue took multiple attempts to fix with different hiccups along the way but he kept at it and got it resolved. Having watched him work I can say with certainty that he is very knowledgeable and is keen to carry out the work to a perfect standard rather than rush and do the bare minimum. Throughout all my interactions with him he was pleasant and polite and acknowledged all my needs and concerns. It is genuinely difficult to find such an honest, hardworking and knowledgeable mechanic these days and from now on I will be contacting Ben with no hesitation when I need any work to be done for my car.”

“I have been visiting Toolstation, Beckenham on a regular basis for nearly a year. It has become like a second home! Customer service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Items can be easily ordered, if not in stock and can be returned if not suitable. Michael Tasker served me today and has done on many previous occasions. He is a charming young man, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and goes out of his way to help. I was not rushed or made to feel a nuisance, especially when others were waiting. I am always treated with the utmost respect. I would also like to mention Ed, who has served me on many occasions in the past too. He has always been patient and helpful, especially when deciding which handles to choose as I was replacing all my internal door handles. It was no trouble for Ed to open several boxes of handles so I could make a decision. He also carried two huge tubs of Wallrock paste to my car, without hesitation. These two young men are a huge asset to Toolstation and I hope they will be rewarded for their excellent service. I have also been served by many other members of staff and all have given the same high standard of service. Well done guys and ladies! Thanks to all of you.”

“Highly recommend! Would definitely return again. I was initially pretty anxious about dropping off our 14 year old cat L who had never been to a cattery before. I did a lot of research beforehand and Farm Cottage had good reviews, so thought I'd give it a go. They welcome visits if you like before you drop your cat off so that you can check out their facilities etc. I didn't do this due to my own time constraints. However, I was pleased when I dropped L off and they allowed me to sit in her pen with her for as long as I liked to get her settled. I brought her favourite blanket and pillow with me so that she had something familiar with too and this was welcomed. They also support cats with conditions. L suffers with cystitis so I gave the Cattery her medication to provide to her during her stay. The Cattery is also located right next door to a vets, so you have that assurance that if there were any issues a vets is just 1 minute away! One of the best things about this place is that they are happy for you to come and visit your cat whenever (during opening hours). When I was enquiring about catteries, some other places said that visits were not allowed! Obviously for peace of mind you want to see how your cat is doing etc. I visited L one weekend and it was lovely to see her in high spirits. Thank you to Dan and the team for looking after L! I'll be sure to return in the future.”
