“Loughton movement clinic has transformed my life and I am forever grateful for all they have done and continue to do. Two years ago when I first walked through the door I was dealing with chronic illness and multiple physical injuries. I had an intense travel schedule and was living between London and New York. I had worked with multiple trainers in the past but no one compares to Joe and Chess. They both embody and practice what they instill in their clients. Beginning with the simple but effective philosophy of movement is medicine Joe skillfully designed a rehabilitation program to help my body heal and recover. He supported me when I traveled and his recommendations extended to my life style, diet and overall well being. Rather than focusing on the superficial Joe and Chess focus on health, self esteem and an appreciation of the human body and it’s potential. Joe is an incredible, skillful coach and adult educator who knows how to build on success whilst still knowing how to push when needed. Two years later I have thankfully recovered from my chronic illness and I can run in the park with my nieces and nephews and while traveling for work still maintain an exercise routine, even if that means dancing to Chaka Khan in my hotel room. Joe and Chess treat their clients like family, the attention and care they provide to each of their clients is so generous and heartfelt. Like many women I have struggled with my body image and fluctuating weight but through my experience working with Joe I now have a deeper appreciation and positive relationship and acceptance of my body and movement is part of my everyday routine. “I went to Paula with a painful ankle which had prevented me for running for 6 months. The exercises Paula gave me improved my ankle stability and strength and I was able to resume running regularly within a couple of months. After several sessions my issues were resolved. “Nini has been walking my dog for six years and is someone I can trust fully to take care of her on walks and when we go on holiday. My dog is quite nervous but she loves staying with Nini as she has a calm and home from home environment. Nini loves all her dogs which is easy to see with the videos she sends from the walks. You can see all the dogs are happy and enjoy being with each other. I really would be lost without you Nini! Thank you.”

“Professional, perfect hair cutting delivered by a stylist who has an instinct for what's going to work. Beautiful, private, salon tucked away just behind the High Street. Turn left off the High Street at Costa and walk through the car park (opposite side to Morrisons car park); it's just a few short steps, tucked away in the far left corner. Press the buzzer to enter a completely private, safe, and calming space, and enjoy becoming even more beautiful than when you stepped in ! This place is a winner. Five stars.”

“Went to Goddards in Loughton with our little fur baby Bruce. We had to have him put to sleep and Walter and Abbie were amazing. They were very kind and caring and we never felt rushed. We were told to take as long as we needed and to go home pay the next day. Completely opposite experience to the one we had at Pets At Home last year. Would recommend Walter as he has always acted professionally and always puts the pet and owners first. Five Stars.”

“I was having a slight issue with my passenger door on my Tiguan, so I popped into Marshalls Loughton today, unannounced, for advice with a view to book in if necessary. Not only were they extremely helpful and saw me straight away, they took the car into their workshop and fixed it there and then as it was just a minor adjustment required. I was so impressed and extremely grateful that they resolved the problem without the inconvenience of me losing the car. Thank you so much!”

“We ordered from Uber eats and the food was amazing. Chilli paneer is a "must have". We thought the curries had their unique taste. Not the taste of the standard curry sauce you find in every single East London Indian restaurant regardless of the ingredients. The food was fresh, not greasy, delivered hot and delicious. I wonder how we missed this restaurant all these days.”

“Was greeted with a warm hello and straight away informed of the parking situation, so put my reg in and was not fined. There were even 5 different notice signs in store about it when I visited on the weekend (the signs outside also state the parking, which is not owned by toolstation). Unfortunately saw another customer get verbally aggressive and threatening towards staff; I would also get blunt with customers if they behaved like that. Aside from that, had a quick and friendly service :)”
