“I got my nails and eyelashes done for my Christmas party almost 3 weeks ago. My nails were done by Iona and my eyelashes were done by Mina. The Salon is decorated with a funky urban feel to it, Its modern, new and vibrant, I believe it only opened not that long ago. I was offered a drink on arrival which I thought was such a lovely touch and ill never say no to a proper latte (with biscuit) !! I was really happy with my nails, they went beautifully with my outfit on the big night out and lasted with no issue until I got them redone by Georgina (I think that was her name) for New Years, again, really happy with how they turned out for New Years. As for my eyelashes, Its been almost 3 weeks and I still have a few on, need to get the remaining ones removed now as I have no more nights out planned for a while, but all in all I would highly recommend these guys and will definitely be coming back. “P&P are absolutely exemplary! From the onset, I was treated with the upmost kindness and respect from Kim, when I called in for an MOT on my car that was overdue and I was kindly booked in for an appointment on the same day. Unfortunately my car failed the MOT due to airbag concerns but I was given a detailed explanation of the severity of the fault, so I could make an informed decision about how I wanted to proceed. Because of the time and care they took to explain the issues and the options I could take, I decided to book my car in with them for the repairs needed. Though, because of the severity and potential dangers of an airbag fault a specialist had to be called into diagnose the specific actions that needed to be taken to fix it. Turns out I needed to have all 4 seat belts in my car replaced but had I sourced this brand new, it would have costed me £1700, for the seat belts alone. But Kim, who was absolutely amazing, managed to source some very good quality belts, order them, have them fitted in my car and complete my MOT for significantly LESS than the price of the brand new seat belts alone. And just to top it off, this was all completed in a week! So all in all, P&P are outstanding! Their customer service and quality of work is impeccable and I would highly recommend that anyone and everyone comes here as they provide quality, dedication and care that is often hard to find these days. Staff are truly kind and take care with their jobs, ensuring that you are updated and understand at each step of the process. They are truly fantastic, and I will be back for my future MOT's and service!”

“This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”
