“We've booked upon cravings of some good authentic italian meal on Mother's day. Deapite it being a busy night,which was expected, the staff managed the rush perfectly and provided friendly and efficient service. We had tasty arancini and fried camembert. The gorgonzola gnocchi were mouthwatering. Premises had a welcoming atmosphere, and the bathroom was sparkly clean and well maintained. We very much enjoyed and look forward to coming again”

“Amazing from start to finish. Greeted at the door, shown to the table, the decor is stunning, the staff are all so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious very good portion size no waiting around served quickly and given the time to enjoy the food and not rushed to clear the table, they do have a 2hr dining policy but not strictly enforced. It was a lovely relaxing evening and definitely worth it”

Moving on to the main course, the dal makhani was rich and creamy, exactly how it should be. The veg makhanwala was equally impressive, with a delightful blend of vegetables in a luscious, buttery sauce. “Went in for breakfast, nice warm welcome from staff. Good choice of breakfast items and paninis. We ordered the nibbles and classic breakfasts and they didn't disappoint. Excellent quality and all cooked beautifully, really tasty. We loved the interior with the butchers counter and deli. Bought some items from the butcher who was so friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely return if in the area and would recommend.”

“With a background in kaiseki, Chef Yasu’s cooking always carries a strong sense of seasonality. This visit, set at the turn of summer to autumn, saw two styles of plating shift from vivid colours to the muted tones of fallen leaves, wheat, chestnuts and early autumn earth. The restaurant focuses on ageing, and the highlights were unmistakably the scallop and squid. Although Japanese ingredients in China are far superior to London’s in general, the flavour developed from this ice-water ageing technique was surprisingly deep and expressive. “Wonderful. That probably doesn't do it justice. The location is idyllic. The house is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We sat outside as it was a lovely day with a spectacular view across the valley. We went for the set menu. It's not cheap but actually it's not unreasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. A few surprises (ants - deliberately - on the sushi) which were utterly delicious. We had different choices and every one of them was fantastic. Service was brilliant - friendly and informative - and the whole experience was unrushed, relaxed and sublime. Couldn't have had a better celebration of our anniversary. I also can't reccommend it enough.”

“1st time using New Anarkali. Takeaway was delicious.This is how it should be done. Delicate tasty food without the oilyness and with a unique fresh and vibrant taste. Had been using the Viceroy forever but Anarkali beats them hands down on every level. Very friendly and even called me back an hour or so after we had finished to make sure we were happy with the food. Will most definitely return and intrigued to try more of their dishes This will be our new go to Indian from now on.”

“I have eaten a lot of pizza across the whole of London over the last 10 years and Sorrento In is genuinely the best I've had. This is judged on a margherita which in my opinion allows the most important ingredients shine through and Sorrento In's does exactly that. The tomato sauce is next level along with the taste of the dough. Closest I've had to traditional Italian pizza in London - simple as that. I'll be back, obviously!”

“Khan G Kababish is hands down one of the best places for Lahori food in town! Their Lahori Nashta is absolutely amazing — from the crispy halwa puri to the rich, flavorful nihari and chana, everything tastes just like home. The parathas are perfectly cooked, the lassi is refreshing, and the overall vibe makes you feel like you’re sitting in a classic Lahore dhaba. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the portions are generous. Every dish is full of authentic spices and aroma — you can tell it’s made with passion and care. If you’re craving real Pakistani food, especially traditional Lahori breakfast, Khan G Kababish is the place to go. Highly recommended!”

“Came in with my boyfriend ordered 2 patties for a quick munch. I am usually intimidated by Caribbean restaurants as customer service isn’t always great. But the lady and the man in the shop running the place were so welcoming and polite and lovely and made us feel comfortable. The patties were gorgeous and hot and decently priced. “We went around 7:15 PM for dinner, it was quite at the time, mostly empty. More people joined afterwards but was not overly crowded being a Wednesday night. Service was prompt and food was excellent. We are vegetarian so ordered only vegetarian food and both the items from mains were good. We also ordered two deserts and they were good too. It had calm vibes of small town Mexican dinner.”

“I was on a mission to find the best Sunday Roast in London… and I found one! We shared a slow-cooked lamb leg between the two and it was absolutely delicious. All the trimmings were superb too, very full of flavour. We also got cauliflower cheese as a side. Will be coming back and bringing friends and family too. Overall, The Horseshoes is a delightful place to unwind with great food, great company, and a great atmosphere. I definitely recommend it and we will come back soon.”
