“Possibly the best affordable themed pool in England, almost waterpark size minus the high price. The water temperature was perfectly warm, there were 2 hot tubs and plenty of rides, of which 3 were long. The decor was artistic, featuring model fishes and some rocky landscaping between things. Also there was a wave machine and enough space to swim laps in the 1.5 metres end.”

The assistant helped find the right necklace too. The clothes are a pleasure to wear and don’t fall apart after the first wearing. They certainly tell the story of our lives that’s for sure. Classic clothes with good styling. Something for every one.”

Despite booking a table for 22 of us at very short notice , Bonnie and Jay went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing dinner for my family gathering. The service was attentive and impeccable throughout the whole evening and the food truly delicious with very generous portions. We all had the fixed menu with a selection of starters ( the fried calamari are the best I have eaten in a very long time - even my Sicilian auntie thought they were tastier than the ones in Sicily ) followed by the prawns risotto and fresh ravioli with porcini mushroom and sage which were both heavenly! We ended the dinner with an amazing selection of desserts, all beautifully presented. I live in London but I will definitely drive back to Guildford just to eat at Carlo’s again!. “We tried this Lebanese restaurant in Guildford, must say the atmosphere the service & the food is all very good. We tried many dishes, Shrimps, Chicken livers, squid rings, Lebanese spicy sausages, the mixed platter all very cooked very well & was delicious. Would recommend this restaurant.”

“Great Indian curry house in Guildford. They serve excellent Sunday Buffet with good choices to choose from. Samosa and onion bhaji were an excellent choice from their starter options. Madras chicken curry and lamp curry with Naan were my favourites. They do also have vegetarian options and serve basmati rice. Overall an excellent choice for a family dine out for any memorable occasion.”

“We came in on 1st November for our really early Christmas Do. As always Sam and the team were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great and the pub was full. We used the app to order so didn’t even need to get up off the table. The food came out promptly, piping hot and was delicious, I couldn’t fault anything. This is a lovely pub with an atmosphere. “Exceptional Hospitality and a Truly Comfortable Stay We visited the hotel for 3 nights for a company conference which was being held there. It was just over an hour from London centre on the train, or uber so we took the advantage of going into London centre while we were over there. All of the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. From the warm welcome we received at reception very late on, after a long and difficult journey, to the attentive and efficient food and beverage team, every interaction was a pleasure. We were honestly pleasantly surprised, this was one of the nicest experiences we’ve had at a in this country, and we’ve stayed in many hotels here. The level of service and genuine hospitality really stood out. The hotel has been recently been refurbished and although it hasn’t lost its traditional feel, it feels lovely, clean and modern. Our family room was very spacious! It was probably one of the hottest weekends of the year, so we were relieved to find a decent fan in the wardrobe which kept the room cool. The beds were really comfy and it was nice that the extra bed wasn’t a sofa bed, as our daughter is nearly 18. The room for our conference was lovely with a stunning balcony which elevated the room and the food was excellent! Highly recommended!”

“Myself and two friends decided to try Bengal Dynasty as is was close to the Travel Lodge we were staying at. Being a Sunday evening it was quiet and we were seated straight away. Menu had some great choices. Two of us opted for the Tandoori mixed grill. Absolutely superb - I really recommend. My friend ordered Chicken Tikka Balti, he really enjoyed it, although he said it was a bit spicy. We were even given free shot of Baileys and a whiskey. Very polite waiter and front of house staff, food was quickly served. I would definitely return if ever I was to visit the area again.”

“We got a takeaway recently from Shangri La. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and welcoming. We gave her my name and straight away she knew the order and confirmed it back to us! She was very chatty and helpful. The food didn’t take long either. It was ready within 15 mins of ordering. We ordered some Thai food which was very tasty! We will be ordering from them again!!!”

“This store, located in Guildford zone 2, is truly a discovery! It has a large parking lot right in front of the entrance, which makes access very convenient. Inside, the care of the spaces is manic: everything is tidy and well organised. The clothing offer is very varied, with a rich selection of sportswear for men, women and children, as well as many other items that make the store particularly attractive. In addition, there is no shortage of really convenient offers and promotions. A high quality point of sale, definitely to try.”
