“I had a great experience when I went in to get my air conditioning fixed. The staff were professional and clearly working hard - it was visibly busy, but they still took the time to check my tyres for free, which I really appreciated. Although there was a bit of a wait due to how busy it was, they were upfront about it and even gave me a discount, which was a nice touch and showed great customer service. I’d definitely recommend - and will be returning in the future.”

Clean rooms, very polite and helpful staff, many options to chose from for breakfast and for me who is a coffee lover I really appreciated the coffee machine they had that provided multiple types of coffee. They location is both good and bad. It's next to the train station which on the one hand is really helpful especially if you're a foreigner like us but there's a bit of noise from the trains, nothing major though, we booked a second night in the end. I'd definitely book again. Parking was limited but isn't a problem if you don't have one”

“Just checked in earlier tonight - here for a week. Love that I can use points to cover a large part of my costs so that this trip is affordable. Rooms: nice room, easy to access internet, TV works well with lots of channel options. Iron and hair dryer included. Plenty of towels. A nice welcome letter as a platinum status card member. Only bad thing is the heat was on and stifling in the room--quickly turned it all off and opened the window to make a comfortable temperature. It really isn't that cold out to have the heat on. Could use a larger suitcase table or a second one for the carry ons we all have. Service: staff super friendly and nice. Big smiles on their faces when I checked in and came down later with questions. Location: it is close to Hammersmith Tube Station. Problem is bad signage - you can't find it! You'll see a big sign a few feet down a side street - it needs an arrow - you need to go down the side street to the hotel otherwise you'll walk right by it like I did. It is on the side street where the Subway--between the Lebanese Organic grocer and Subway.”

“We were so impressed of the staff, the reception lady checked us in early. The breakfast is amazing, overall the foods are so fresh and delicious. Adela was so kind to assist us about collecting our car from nearby mall where we parked. The hotel has a strategic location, it’s surrounded with good restaurants. “We came on a business trip and stayed 18-21 July 2025. We were immediately welcomed by Monica who was very helpful and pleasant. We stayed in a beautiful premium room that came with welcome surprise. Also purchased the meal deal and enjoyed good food and great service at the Willow Farm Table Table Restaurant. All in all a great experience in Rainham. Highly recommended and we plan to come again soon.”

“This is a really great hostel, especially if you need access to Kings Cross. It was literally a three or four minute walk from there. I booked an all female dorm room and I was the only one there. Everything was great. There was a heater as well and a nice view across the street. Only issue is the shower in the bathroom kind of flooded a bit and it’s pretty cramped. But besides that I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and appreciated their cute little café and pizzeria. The lobby is a little bit condensed, but that’s to be expected and a busy high demand area.”

“A massive thank you to the staff at YHA! We were having a bit of a nightmare weekend with a hotel cancelling on us, we managed to secure a last minute booking at YHA and the staff were very kind to let us store our bags and get ready in the common area before our event. The wine & pizza in the cafe was great too! The following day after check-out we had another disaster situation, and long story short the receptionists let us use their phone to make a call, use their charger and go back to our room to retrieve a lost item. Without the YHA staff being so accommodating, our stressful weekend would be have 10 times worse! The room itself was clean and everything we needed for one night, good value food, nice communal areas and overall great vibes! Thank you again”

“I recently stayed at Travelodge and had a great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a short stay. The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. The location was perfect, close to shops and public transport. Overall, it’s great value for money — I’ll definitely stay again!”

The room we had wasn't big ,but for a couple of nights it's all we needed . So if you are in tga Clapham area and need a place to stay I'd give it a big thumbs up .”

I stayed for 7 nights and come again next time. No need to search for food or drink outside the hotel. I would highly recommend to everybody”

“One of the cheapest dorm that I've found, initially for 4 nights stay but i extended for almost a week! Why? first, it's affordable & cheap. second, I'm pretty satisfied with the basics provided in the hostel: decent room & toilets, dining area, cooking space and free simple breakfast!! third, staff are pretty kind. fourth, i felt safe & comfortable inside the room! the location is also pretty close to both New Cross Gate train station & Marquis of Granby bus stop, so yea it's pretty accessible with public transport. there's also small park nearby, and few halal places nearby. it looks pretty meh & somewhat eerie from the outside, but yeah overall the inside of the hostel - are all pretty decent. trust me. to girl travellers, do let them know you need a female dorm else you'll get the mixed dorm ? ps: good for budget traveller, price might be differ and bit higher during weekend/festive/holiday. but still considering the price + hv breakfast, i still consider it's affordable. pss: DO NOT EXPECT EXTRAVAGANT STUFF AS I MENTIONED EARLIER, it's a decent place to stay. will definitely come here again if I'll be looking for a pretty decent place in future!”

“Here is the English translation: I came from Taiwan and stayed at a 2-person room on the 5th floor for 13 days at the end of November. At first, I saw many mixed reviews, but after staying here, I truly felt the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and I had no bad experiences. There was no curtain beside the bed, but there were four outlets in the room, which was more than enough. The food sold on the first floor was affordable and tasty, and it’s also a good choice if you want to have a drink. If you need hot water, you can ask for it at the bar. The self-service breakfast costs £9.5 and is enough to make you full. The bathrooms and toilets were clean too, although some locks were broken, but it didn’t affect usage. The heating starts at 8 p.m. and lasts until the morning; sometimes it starts earlier or ends earlier. I am still staying here now, and I highly recommend this place to travelers who come to London and don’t have very high requirements for accommodation.”

“Stayed here with trepidation given the mixed reviews but can honestly say I enjoyed my stay. For a very low price you get a decent sized room (much bigger than many I’ve stayed in in central London), a hot shower and clean facilities, comfortable beds, 24/7 front desk, bar and restaurant on site, convenient location for nearby sites (Hampton Court Palace, Richmond Park, Ham House, Wimbledon), helpful and friendly staff and the option to pay a small fee for car parking, a good breakfast or early check-in/late check-out. We even had a nice view overlooking the church next door. Yes, the room was warm but NOT unbearably so. Criticisms about lack of aircon aren’t exactly fair. It isn’t common to find aircon in London hotel rooms and you get what YOU pay for!”

“I have been taken by Oxted Station Taxis for many years . In my experience this is the best company in Oxted and I am delighted by their professional and punctual service. They are always on time and drivers arive in modern and clean vehicles with a smile and eagerness to be helpful. Stephanie picks me up quite often and she is an ansolute plesure to be around. She has been a taxi driver for over 20 years and know all the roads as the back of her hand. It has been a briliant service and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a local taxi service in Oxted and especialy for airport transfers.”
