Protests in London meant I could only reach them for a first visit on the Sunday, but by Monday early afternoon, not only had they helped select the perfect two tailored suits I needed, they had also adjusted them, made to measure. “I recently dined at Kashi, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy meal with family or friends. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the delicious spread of Indian dishes. We started with the chats, which were bursting with flavor and had the perfect balance of spices and textures. Moving on to the main course, the dal makhani was rich and creamy, exactly how it should be. The veg makhanwala was equally impressive, with a delightful blend of vegetables in a luscious, buttery sauce. This visit, set at the turn of summer to autumn, saw two styles of plating shift from vivid colours to the muted tones of fallen leaves, wheat, chestnuts and early autumn earth. “Wonderful. That probably doesn't do it justice. The location is idyllic. The house is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We sat outside as it was a lovely day with a spectacular view across the valley. We went for the set menu. It's not cheap but actually it's not unreasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. A few surprises (ants - deliberately - on the sushi) which were utterly delicious. We had different choices and every one of them was fantastic. Service was brilliant - friendly and informative - and the whole experience was unrushed, relaxed and sublime. Couldn't have had a better celebration of our anniversary. I also can't reccommend it enough.”

The homemade lasagna, straight from a family recipe, was absolute perfection—rich, flavourful, and clearly made with love. The wine list was superb, and our server's recommendation was the perfect pairing. We finished with a fantastic dessert that was the ideal end to the meal. All the trimmings were superb too, very full of flavour. We also got cauliflower cheese as a side. Will be coming back and bringing friends and family too. “I had the most amazing stay here for my birthday. The hotel was unique with stunning decor - highly unusual but brilliant. The hotel had made every effort to recognise the occasion - the room was aptly decorated with balloons and a handwritten message on the mirror. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice - a lovely buffet selection. My dietary needs were catered for (gluten/dairy free). The hotel is situated in Islington - a very short walk to the canal. A morning walk along the canal to Canary Wharf and back along the Thames Path was the best start to the day! There are some beautiful spots along the canal to stop for a coffee or bite to eat - these are within a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel - it made a really nice change to stay somewhere a little different/unique.”

She has an open mind and excited to try foods from different cultures and loved her experience.
