“My dog actually enjoys his groom here. My only complaint is that they are so popular that I often have to wait a couple of weeks to get my dog booked in for his groom! He always comes away looking really dapper and they recommended in the summer that I have him clipped for the hot weather and he loved having such short hair.”

They stock a wide range of different dog food in various sizes and I have never not been able to buy the food I need. “I’ve been taking my rabbit to Scallywags for the past 7 years and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Recently I noticed something wrong with my rabbits eyes and breathing, so took him to the vet who assured me everything was fine. When I next visited scallywags, karen immediately noticed something wasn’t right and strongly advised me to take him back to the vet as soon as possible. Thanks to her keen observation and genuine care, I did just that and after a referral to a specialist, he was diagnosed with a tumour. I’m so grateful to Karen, her knowledge of rabbits is exceptional and her love for animals shines through. I truly can’t thank Karen and the team enough. Scallywags is a rare gem and I couldn’t recommend them enough.”

“When we first heard that our vet was called Cesar, we had a few laughs about whether he would be as good as Caesar Milan, the famous "Dog Whisperer". Let me just tell you that he was even better! Phoned on Monday morning and got a Tuesday appointment for our poorly lurcher that fitted in perfectly with our own busy timetable. Cesar arrived ahead of time, well stocked with his kit, and was incredibly personable from the start. Our lurcher is elderly and nervous and though he has never shown any aggression to others I did ask Cesar to bring a muzzle as our dog was tender on palpation (we suspected a pulled muscle). True to his word, Cesar brought a selection of muzzles and took his time accustoming our dog to the feel of it before the exam proper even began. There was a lot of love and tenderness in the exam, with plenty of head strokes and reassuring words so that our lovely dog felt completely relaxed in his hands. We even got a free ear clean thrown in (our bad!) The diagnosis was a sprained elbow for which we were given an injection and follow up medicine plus a comprehensive drugs/rehab regime to follow. We never felt rushed as we sometimes do at our (albeit excellent) regular vet, and being in familiar surroundings made this a much better experience all-round for our dog. The price, we felt, was really reasonable, and although we were offered supplements to assist with future joint care, we were in no way pressured to purchase them. In addition, Cesar examined the supplements I had purchased independently prior to his visit to make sure we were administering them correctly (we were!). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cesar to anyone who loves their pet and for whom a commute to the vet's surgery is difficult. Obviously, if there's something requiring more extensive examination (X-rays, MRI's, surgery) you'll have to go elsewhere, but otherwise do give them a try. So delighted with the help we got.”

We tried taking him somewhere else for a few months due to logistical issues but have since realised that she is worth travelling to as she does a much better job and makes our nervous dog feel safe. “I had a genuinely excellent stay at ibis Styles London Ealing, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the hotel felt welcoming, modern, and well cared for. After a long journey, Mac made the check-in process smooth, friendly, and completely stress-free, which instantly put me at ease and set a great tone for the stay. The room itself was spotless with a unique cinema theme that made it stand out from a typical hotel room. I especially appreciated the small personal touches, a welcome card waiting in the room and a little chocolate, which was such a nice surprise and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Another thoughtful detail that really impressed me was the complimentary pastries available one of the evenings I was there, along with free orange juice for guests. It’s a small gesture, but it adds a warm, generous feel to the hotel and shows real attention to guest experience. The room was comfortable, quiet, and relaxing, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was friendly and calm. Everything felt well organized and cared for, and it’s clear the team takes pride in what they do. I would happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service and thoughtful touches throughout.”

“This Pets at Home branch is very organised and professional. There was a warm greeting upon entry to the store from Bart and then a lovely young lady supported me with information about hamsters. Not only did she confidently know all the genders, she even knew the Individual temperaments of each hamster. This is a different experience to the other pets at home branches I had been to.”

“Stayed here a few nights with husband and 2 small kids aged 3 and 6. Our room had 2 double beds and a shower room with shower gel and shampoo. Black out blinds and little fridge and kettle . The bed was clean and very cozy. We had booked last minute and was greeted by Harry on front desk. Who was very welcoming and smiling. It was the start of a wonderful first stay. The suna and steam room are great size and lovely . And the swimming pool was great and good temperature for the kids. Good transport links to the greenwhich o2. Our stay came with breakfast. Great options and fresh food. Lovely service especially form a young slim black boy with short hair, Indian lady and a girl from Hong Kong named Anisha. Was all lovely … no complaints. Chinese restaurant round the corner as we didn’t stay for dinner only had booked breakfast. Would return. Thank you!”

“Always stay here and always happy. The rooms are amongst the best PI rooms I stay in. But what makes this place is the staff, always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. It’s like meeting up with friends. As a woman travelling alone I always feel like I’ve got someone around if I need them!”

“My local PAH in Hendon groom room has often been closed more than open which is not convenient at all. To book my dog in to get his dew claws cut has proven very difficult when it’s a two second job however with the groom room always closed, isn’t ideal. This I would not rate highly. HOWEVER, On both occasions that I’ve gone in and queried why the groom room is always closed (pets you’re missing a massive opportunity for customers to get their dogs groomed) and stating that my dog just needs his dew claws cut, colleague Jo has been FANTASTIC. Both occasions she has offered to cut my dogs dew claws given the groom room is always closed. This is what customer service is about trying to help where possible. If it wasn’t for her, I probably would have given up going to pets at home given the service at the groom room is well, no service. A massive thank you to Jo for being so helpful and giving a great customer exp. It’s the colleagues who make the store despite the lack of services!”
