“Cozy old-ish well kept bar/restaurant in Leadenhall market - this is not on the Main Street, go into that tiny lane to find this gem! Great boom bop beer (I love!) smashed burger with soft yum buns (so simple but yet so yum) but the cauliflower is a tad spicy for me (Londoners can take spicy shit! Haha), go for it if you love spicy! The service team is amazing too, so friendly and makes you feel welcome. If you are in the area, and feel like a burger, this is the place! Amazing live music at 1pm on a Sunday too! (not sure on other days)”

“Was fortunate enough to get a last minute dinner reservation at the counter, which was a great experience! The restaurant is a short walk from Old Street station. Nest offers seasonal menus and my visit was during Beef Season. Unfurling the wax-sealed menu revealed two set menu options, the short menu or longer signature menu, which I went with. A wine pairing is available however I chose my own drinks. Over the next two hours I was treated to eleven courses of incredible cooking. Despite being Beef Season the menu was interspersed with some seafood and vegetable items as well, although they had found creative ways to incorporate beef in many of the courses. I enjoyed all the dishes but some of my favourites were the tempura oyster with bone marrow mayonnaise, the sirloin carpaccio and Highland beef. Sitting at the kitchen counter added to the experience, you could tell the chefs were passionate from the way they worked together and the way they explained each dish and how they had made it. To drink I had a Nest Negroni and a glass of Slovakian red wine, both of which were excellent and served promptly. The drinks list is extensive and will suit most tastes. Nest is in an area with lots of competition and certainly holds its own. It was a great meal and I would love to return to try another season!”

“Yada’s has to be one of the most authentic Middle Eastern restaurants in London. All the food is delicious but the mezze platter and lamb shawarma are highly recommended as you can try lots of authentic options in small quantities. Our favourites included the pistachio hummus and ghormeh sabzi. The lamb was divine and accompanied by the gorgeous fluffy saffron rice. Can’t wait to go back!”

“I took a group to the Garden, we had a tour of the Garden in the morning which was really enjoyable. The guide was very knowledgeable. In the afternoon we did the Heritage Tour, a guide joined us on our coach and showed us round Windsor Great Park. This was an amazing experience. Our guide was Chris and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time.”

“Came to Megan’s for a meal with my mum and sister to kick off my hen do weekend. We had never been before but had the best evening here! Firstly, the restaurant is magical and outdoor seating has a stunning view. Made the most of happy hour and the cocktails definitely didn’t disappoint! The staff all had amazing energy with genuine interest in their customers and fantastic communication skills. They seemed like they loved their job and team, wouldn’t stop smiling and laughing ❤️ as for the food, the best meal we’ve had in a long time. “We had celebrated a belated valentine here with perfect choice. Wednesday have Jazz with piano was very relaxing. Food was very fresh and quality.
