“Bought a pair of sandals from Wales while on holiday. They seemed too small so ordered a bigger size and they were sent to the store in the outlet centre, Chatham Dockside. The staff were absolutely amazing, letting me wander up and down in both pairs. Top marks for your service.”

“Bought MDPE pipes and fittings- good price - less than some shops nearby. I liked their customer - the two girl’s were polite and helpful. ( you go nearby shops- their body language is not bothered , which I very much dislike) Definitely will go back again.”

“Loads of goodness outside and inside this store. Fruits /veg of all culture, brilliant selection of cold meats and spices, has it all, bit sadly the staff don't believe in manners, ie. please/thanks, not all at helpful when you're looking for a particular item, they don't reply, simply ignore you, like you sint there, the only reason, people come back, so they tell me, is the variety. But out of 100 people who shopped on sane days as I, had sane opinion, lovely store, but let down by cold ,unfriendly and very unhelpful staff. A smile costs nothing, please and thanks go a long way to improve service, but this hasn't changed on any occasion I've visited. Shame the staff don't like serving customers, don't smile or speak, may as well become AI store in that department, but great selection of goods is its only saving grace . Common deceny is a nice touch in ANY business. Thank you”

    ALDI

    ★★★★☆ 4.2

“I’m one of those shoppers who scrutinise the labels to check what ingredients everything has as well as trying to eat as ‘clean’ as possible. I will shop in 3-4 supermarkets to cut down my weekly expenditure but recently, Aldi is my ‘Go To’ store. I have to say that I am seriously impressed with the quality ( and the price ) of all fresh meats, hams, chicken and fish. I also love that their fresh produce mostly comes from British farms. I am not vegetarian but there is a good selection to choose from if you are. Gluten free produce is also available. I can recommend their Sirloin steaks, Fresh Salmon, Cooked and uncooked Chicken Breasts, Beef ( joint and minced) Wiltshire Ham and their eggs are extra good value. On those items alone, I save between £10-15 per shop. I can also recommend Aldi ice creams/lollies ( special treat days) as they taste just as good as the branded ones but considerably cheaper. It’s a pleasant ‘quick’ shop but I have to admit that I spend a ridiculous amount of time down the ‘Isle of Shame’ Everyone loves a bargain right?!!”

    Lidl

“Finally a good Lidl store in the area. The Wembley Park store is way too small for the customers it’s got now, a nightmare to shop in. This one is much bigger with very spacious aisles. The self checkout area is also nice and large. So far it all very clean, be nice if the staff could maintain it like that but I’m not expecting that. In this day and age every retail store is way understaffed to be able to keep stores neat and tidy which is a shame. Still, I didn’t expect this store to be this big so that’s a plus. Never going back to the Wembley Park store again. Happy days. Note, I wouldn’t drive to this store though, very very limited spaces with more than half (I think) taken by electric chargers and disabled bays.”

“Excellent pharmacy, always well stocked, clean and tidy. All the members of staff work incredibly hard, they are always smiling and very helpful. A special thank goes to Rachel who is not only working hard, but she goes above and beyond. Recently my daughter was prescribed some antibiotics in an emergency situation and although the pharmacy was basically closing down for the day, Rachel made sure I got the medicines I needed to start the treatment. She acted like it was no big deal, but it meant the world to me! Thank you, you're a true gem!”

“We cannot praise Brampton enough. All of the staff are incredibly enthusiastic and dedicated to their jobs, the school has a real community feel, and the parents association is fantastic. The school overcame the challenges of lockdown and home educating incredibly quickly, delivering effective learning remotely far sooner than other schools we know of. Brampton has invested in an impressive phonics program, Read Write Inc, and the use of ClassDojo and Microsoft Teams makes communication with the school incredibly easy. We truly believe that our daughter (yr 2) has had the best start to her academic life at BPA and are thrilled that our son has now started reception there too.”

    Pet-a-pawter

“I don’t usually write reviews but this world is always full of negativity and I wanted to say something positive. I’ve taken my 2 Doxiepoo’s to Pet-a-pawter for around 6 months now, regularly (every 6 weeks) I’d had a bad experience one day with the groom room so I contacted them by chance, explained my difficulty and my situation, they fitted me in the next morning at a squeeze. This wasn’t because they weren’t inundated, but because the ladies working here are genuine and caring. Every experience since has been great. I confused my dates for one appointment and the communication I received after missing the appointment was kind and considerate. My girls are always happy for the rest of the day after leaving there. Thank you for your kindness ladies, it doesn’t go unnoticed. (Caramel & Chocolates Mum)”

    Ernest Jones

    ★★★★☆ 4.2

“I never really have cause to go into jewelry shops (I don't really wear any) but I found a watch online that I knew Ernest Jones might be able to get in stock. I wanted to buy it in store, as the only way to keep shops open is for people to actually go in them, but only if they could get the watch and match the price. Oddly, not only was I helped by another Gemma (but a Jemma!) she was lovely and wonderfully helpful. She called another store that carried the watch, organised a price match and had it delivered to that store, so I wouldn't have to go too far to get it. There was the option of having it delivered to my home, but I preferred to pop back into the shop. Everything was made so easy, it was all organised for me and with total cheerfulness, nothing forced or false. There was another lady working there, but although we didn't speak, she was very smiley, despite it being first thing in the morning! The store was tidy, clean and organised, with just a little too much wear on the carpet to age the shop, but shop carpets are always the first victim to wear and tear! Jemma was an absolute delight and I'm genuinely happy to go back in and collect my new watch. Admittedly I'm more excited for the watch, but it's really pretty! I really cannot stress enough how friendly Jemma was, with no hint of annoyance at my weird questions or overly chatty behaviour (I'm a Sunflower person and had only taken my medication about an hour before, which takes a couple of hours to get me to 'normal' person level!) She was fabulous and a true benefit to the company.”
