“A vets that care, not just about your pet, but also about you and how difficult finances are for most at the moment. From looking at previous reviews- they may get it wrong sometimes (they’re only human) but they do care and they also help you to prevent things. A lot of vets won’t help you prevent problems because they want the big bill. But this vets will warn you before it costs you a fortune”

“We recently joined this vet for our cat. We needed to find a vet closer to home which is possible to get to by tram or bus, but also had the option of parking close by. We were very happy with the friendly and professional staff. They were supportive and informative right from when we first made contact over the phone, and again when visiting. The reception and examination rooms were very clean. I felt our cat was very calm throughout and we left happy customers.”

“I took my dog in today to see nurse Abbie due to a lump that appeared on my dogs leg. Abbie was extremely kind, attentive and thorough. I was worried about whether the lump was benign or not and she kindly took my dog to the vet who pricked the lump and was able to confirm that it was a cyst. Everything she explained to me was clear and it really felt like she took the time help.”

“I have just changed my dog’s vets to ivy lodge. Amazing staff. My dog is extremely nervous and often fear aggressive. They took time in getting to know her and made her so comfortable to the point she was even wagging her tail. We have had numerous issues with her and her first visit feels like we got further than any other place we have been too! Couldn’t find a fault at all”

“I cannot recommend this vet practice enough.From the moment I contacted them regarding having my Springer 'Bailey Boo' PTS yesterday 10.4.25.The practice manager was so compassionate and understanding,the vet nurse present while he was PTS was absolutley amazing and so caring.The vet herself when above and beyond to explain what was going to happen,asked if she could start.I have nothing but praise for these guy's.Thankyou for making an upsetting experience into a calm,peaceful experience. “This is the best Goddard's I have come across, friendly and efficient. I moved from Kennington branch as they were quite rude and seemed uninterested. Here everyone is very friendly. Ashley on reception is great and works hard to find an appointment that fits with your own schedule. The dogs even get free treats ! I highly recommend this branch of Goddards.”

“Cerdic Grimbly is the best Veterinary Surgeon along with Holly Swaby and Emma Whitaker. All the Veterinary Nurses, Support Staff and the Practice Manager have always been absolutely fantastic with me and both of my Cats over the past few years. Even when I had to put one of my Cats to sleep they were very professional, understanding and compassionate. They also sent a lovely condolence card. I went to Midland Veterinary Surgery again today with my newest Cat for his 6 month health check, yearly vaccination, nail clipping, de-worming, flea treatment and he is doing really well and is very healthy. I will definitely keep on coming here for many more years to come. I really reccomend this Surgery for your pets. Thank you for a 5 star service!”

Also a special thanks to Candi for going above and beyond to help with dietary needs etc 2019 **** The woman with red hair on reception was LOVELY! Last time I didn’t have a great experience but this time... wow! She was so so lovely and accommodating. After having a csection and having to arrange a lift to pets at home that day, she explained that I would have to order and come back the next day for treatment. I apologised for not knowing and explained I would need to get a lift the following day (not expecting her to change the rules) She said “you know what... we aren’t busy let me go and sort that for you. It will save you getting someone to bring you back down.” She asked me about the baby etc She was personable and so so understanding She went above and beyond out of her way to help me That is customer service at its finest!!! Well done for getting someone like her on board! It makes such a difference to your day when you come across gems like that!!! Thank you! Please make sure this feedback gets back to her!! “Great friendly place .recently i had my lovly cat bow put to sleep as she developed a clot.They did all they could was great with her and to my surprise today i received a card saying some very nice words.They went out of there way to send that and i just wanted to say thank you to all who work there both for the care they gave bow and the card they sent. “This is a wonderful veterinary practice. We first took our beloved Nico to Alan to have some dental work carried out a few years ago & more recently during his final months, following a bought of ill health, to Nico's final visit yesterday when we sadly made the difficult decision to put him to sleep. Alan is a wonderful vet, so knowledgeable, kind & considerate, we have never felt rushed whenever we had cause to see him.
