“Yesterday I phoned because my cat was having difficulty swallowing. I got through straightaway to a receptionist who was kind and understanding and gave me an immediate appointment. At the appointment the vet was clear about the problem, the cost, and next actions and possible outcomes. My cat was treated and we took her home a few hours later. Some grass was lodged in her throat and she had lost a lot of weight. The cost of £275 was well worth it. Thank you so much for your compassionate care.”

“Great experience with our cat. Very fire dry and welcoming, they know how to make Arthur feel welcome! We've Interacted with Catherine the most at reception and she's a delight, everyone else has also been lovely too! They explain things clearly as well so you know what is happening. The first time we visited it was to get Arthur chipped, there was an issue with the machine (things happen) but instead of just fobbing us off and making us come back another day, as they could have: one of the team went down to the selsdon branch to pick up the necessary wire - whilst yes we had a little wait it was way better than having to go home and get our kitten into his carrier another day!”

“Lily, a 2.5 year old greyhound was admitted to Wylies a few weeks ago. She was extremely poorly and had pneumonia. She was in critical care for 3 nights. The care she received was first class. It is honestly down to the hard work of the vet team that she is here today with me. I was so impressed with the care she received, I have moved my other 3 greyhounds to Wylies. A huge thank you to Anna, Gemma and Lewis who was amazing with Lily. Also, thank you to the reception team who were always so kind to me every single time I visited and was upset. “I absolutely adore this veterinary clinic. The clinic I was with before noticed a heart murmur from my cat but suggested it was anxiety and wouldn't need looking into. I received a second opinion from Andy here who said he would suggest I looked into it with a heart scan due to know issues with his breed. Thankfully he was right to advise this as my cat has since been diagnosed with HCM which is fatal for cats and is now under the correct care to prolong his life as long as possible. The reception team are also very helpful, it's a great service all around.”

“I have just changed my dog’s vets to ivy lodge. Amazing staff. My dog is extremely nervous and often fear aggressive. They took time in getting to know her and made her so comfortable to the point she was even wagging her tail. We have had numerous issues with her and her first visit feels like we got further than any other place we have been too! Couldn’t find a fault at all”

“The staff are absolutely lovely. They are very helpful and the care they give to your animal/s is absolutely brilliant, they treat the animal as if it was their own. The vet takes time the time to answer any questions that you have. I cannot be more thankful to these wonderful people as they have helped my little dog since he was 4 months old, plus he loves all the staff and treats too. I recommend medivet in the watford branch but their other practices will be just the same as this one”

“This is a wonderful veterinary practice. We first took our beloved Nico to Alan to have some dental work carried out a few years ago & more recently during his final months, following a bought of ill health, to Nico's final visit yesterday when we sadly made the difficult decision to put him to sleep. Alan is a wonderful vet, so knowledgeable, kind & considerate, we have never felt rushed whenever we had cause to see him. Yesterday he made an awful situation bearable with his gentleness with Nico & his empathy with us. Our sincere thanks to Alan & his team at Summerdale Veterinary Centre.”
