Had the Gingerbread Latte with a Salted Caramel Brownie while my friend had a Terry Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate and a slice of their Chocolate & Caramel Nutcracker Cake. “Barista with black glasses is fantastic - he was seamelessly sorting out a queue of 10+ different drinks as well as checking the toaster and minding the counter all by himself, as everyone else had disappeared. “Delicious and wholesome home made food served at lunch time. I especially recommend the salads. The cafe opens early in the morning and is a great place to stop and have a coffee or tea. Croissants, Pain au chocolat/raisin and a choice of filled baguettes are also available and are heated or toasted as requested. There is also a good selection of cakes and ice creams. Children are welcome and there is a play area nearby. The tea rooms makes a great meeting place for friends with children and on warm sunny days it can get very busy. “I’ve been to this branch of Starbucks a couple of times recently and it’s been great. My friend is disabled, so parking is very convenient as there are Blue Badge parking spaces directly outside. Access is easy too. The staff are all friendly and you don’t feel rushed, even when it’s near closing time. One outstanding member of staff we encountered was Elaine, the manager, who is incredibly friendly, warm and kind. She was extremely considerate and helpful towards my friend, who needed to access the toilet. Elaine made sure she could navigate her way to the toilet safely and that there were no obstructions in her way. On our way out, just as the shop was closing, Elaine cheerfully called out to say goodbye, which was a lovely touch. It’s warm, friendly and helpful staff members like Elaine who contribute to a positive experience when visiting a coffee shop. Thank you Elaine. You’re an asset to Starbucks. Update: When I first encountered Elaine, I mistakenly thought she was the cleaner as she was mopping the floor. On my next visit she told me that she was actually the manager and had found my post hugely amusing. This just shows what a wonderful sense of humour Elaine has! It also shows how the manager is prepared to do any task that is required.”

“Massive superstore with every conceivable item you could possibly ever want ranging from frozen food to fresh fruit and vegetables to clothes and tableware and more I really like the fact that within this store there is a McDonalds. Lottery Kiosk, Hair Salon, Card and Gift Shop, Dry Cleaning and toilets. Also the staff here are so friendly, polite and helpful which made a really enjoyable shopping experience. Huge car park with plenty of free parking and a petrol station too. Highly recommended.”

“Really nice to have a decent place after a run in Richmond Park. As much as any building can, it blends nicely with the environment. Dining is available outside but as the weather was fresh, to say the least, it was handy to be able to sit inside. The staff were pleasant and conscientious. We were served very speedily. Finally, I spilled my coffee, my fault, and they unexpectedly replaced it free of charge. So, doubly happy.”
