“brilliant that in a central location 30 seconds from some big museums, hospitals, parks etc you can have a substantial meal and a drink, sat down for less than £7. Always quick, friendly staff, never an issue getting a table. Leave the greggs next door alone, and come get a snack here.”
“A very pleasant evening spent here. Most of this theatre is very old but kept quite fresh with the cleanliness. I didn't come across any mustiness that the old cinema had (that was) down the road. Staff were as nice and friendly. A few sound difficulties, but the actors were able to broadcast their voices around.”
“First class! I booked here for my 50th birthday and had a great time. The manager had kindly decorated the tables so that it felt like a party. Even though our tables had to be socially distant they still made or feel special. The food was good excellent. They had made platters of mixed starters for each table that were huge portions and delicious. Everyone was really happy with their main courses. The calzone is enormous! The octopus pasta superb! I can’t thank them enough for the service, welcome and food. I think I’ll be a regular in future!”
“Lovely hotel, top notch leisure facilities. Rooms could be a bit larger (king size bed but not a lot of room after that), and wine pricy at the bar. Breakfast was fantastic, very tasty, wish I could have e had two each day but can't eat that much :-). Helpful and friendly staff, could t do enough to help, thanks folks”
“I Honestly had a wonderful time. Prices were pretty transparent; 10 quid to enter, 10 quid for basic dance, 20 quid for a topless dance & 50 quid for a full nude 15 min dance. I'm from Toronto and not Manchester but the rules are a bit different for strip clubs in the UK. For example there isn't any touching allowed. This made my dance feel pretty awkward since I'm not used to that rule. You also have to pay before you get your dance. This is pretty good since I know i wont get overcharged for the dance. Getting overcharged is common in Toronto. Dancers also make a weird sound when they finish a private dance with you. I find this kind of funny. The dancers are also great at having a conversation. Overall this place is a pretty good vibe if you're bored with nothing to do”
“Out and about in Manchester with Albrecht. Have not been in this non real ale pub in many years but fancied a pint of Guinness. A very good choice. Albrecht had a pint of Estrella. £12.20 for the two pints. A one room pub taken back to the bare brick. A small rear outdoor area. Impressive spirit collection. Very friendly staff. The toucan murals take me back 60 years; we had metal trays with the Guinness toucans when I was a lad. ( sister still has them!) They do have live music. Pipped music was pretty damn good.”
“Couldn’t fault our visit here. A cosy busy spot great for families. The atmosphere is lovely and the outdoor seating is perfect when the weathers good. The food was also on point. Portions are massive and at amazing value. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad and it was surprisingly very good! Will happily come again.”
“Leo was amazing. He did a great job with my nails. Definitely coming back”
“Straight away and you are welcomed by some attentive and lovely staff that give you a great introduction to the gallery. The building is beautiful and the current exhibit by Jane Jin Kaisen is very interesting and moving.”
“I recently completed a one-year stay at Broadside, and I am beyond impressed with the incredible team that made my experience memorable. From the friendly leasing office staff to the efficient maintenance team, every interaction was positive and professional. The entire concierge team, of Monika, Precious, Jon and I'm forgetting the name of the other bloke (sorry), were also part reason why I extended by contract by 6 more months. They were just amazing at their work and exceptionally good with people. The management team of Jenna and Zvi were quite professional and helpful in every manner. The amenities, social events, convenience, and location in the city were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere made Broadside feel like home. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay truly amazing. I highly recommend Broadside to anyone looking for a fantastic place to live!”
“DOMINIC WILL LOOK AFTER YOU! Pizza was lovely, cheesy dough balls were great. Everything was tasty and hot. Our server was Dominic, he was very helpful, friendly and polite. He offered good service and supported us with the app! Would definitely come back again.”
“Went there for my daughters birthday. Absolutely fantastic food, and atmosphere, they even brought the cake out to a rendition of happy birthday. The staff couldn't do enough for us, I would recommend this place 100%. Thankyou”
“We really enjoy living at Burlington square apartments. Being a student at the dental school, it is an ideal place to live and also isn’t too far from the centre of Manchester. The apartments are very comfortable and modern. We particularly like that there is a communal area to study/work downstairs and the gym is great too. Wael is always very pleasant and helpful with any questions we have - Danielle and Hugh”
“A varied menu to suit all tastes, from snacks through to full 3 course meals, all freshly cooked with superb ingredients. Can be very busy when they have business events on in the hotel, but choose the right time and it is easy getting served. Probably best to check first by ringing (and also ask for one of the window tables for the best views) Sit at one of the tables overlooking Piccadilly Gardens and enjoy wonderful food, and great views at the same time. The staff are very professional and extremely pleasant. Well worth a visit if you enjoy eating delicious food in a bright restaurant with excellent views.”
“As always thank you for making us and the girls welcome and nothing being too much trouble! Becca and the team are so friendly and helpful! They always go above and beyond no matter the time of day we’re in the pub! Thanks for making the simple thing such as a lunch out or our tea super special and delicious! Lovely to see you as always. Nat, Gary and the girls x”
“So pleased I've discovered the atmosphere bar. Located within the university house this is the university's main SU bar but also well used by Peel Park visitors. The bar is located on the first floor of the building and is easily missed if you don't know it's there. Once inside there are three distinct and different parts of the bar. Firstly the main bar and largest space is like a sports bar with plenty of screens to watch live sporting events. Secondly, there is a games bar with pool tables and retro arcade games and darts. Thirdly there is a mezzanine floor which carries a whole different decor and vibe. Much more intermate and lounge like you can easily find your own space to work or have a private drink. I didn't sample the food but it appeared to be very good value for money. The beer selection was excellent and very well priced. £3.80 for a pint of Guinness and £3.70 for a pint of Madri. The Guinness was excellent too. When I'm next in Peel Park I'll certainly pay a visit to Atmosphere.”
“Never fail to please, very polite staff and always have a smile, great service and great prices, I couldn’t fault them in anyway, they never stand still if they are not cutting hair they are cleaning or serving.”
“Easy to get to off the M6 but not too close. Nice big room, very clean. Breakfast was nice too. Its not easy to keep a hot buffet edible for long! Staff were friendly and helpful.”
“a deluxe residential tower and we can see it from many corners in Manchester. nice view over the surrounding areas”
“Came to manchester from london and ordered pounded yam and oha soup. As soon as I tasted the soup it felt like been transported back to the village. I could taste the home cooking in every bite. Atmosphere was good. The host was friendly and in my view one of the best African restaurants I have visited.”
“Great flat complex in a very good area. Always clean and tidy and the caretaker is wonderfully helpful and often on hand if help is needed.”
“Highly recommend! Hired Paul after a difficult c-section. Both i & my husband had operations months apart and struggled to get out. Our dog is rescued so we did have concerns entrusting him to anyone but our Nelson loved walks with Paul. Reasonably priced and your pet will be in safe hands.”
“Trustworthy and fast business for transferring money and booking great flight deals.”
“Very unpleasant people to deal with especially the owner. She is brusque, rude and very critical of her employees who do a good job. To be avoided”
“Lovely hot food , a huge omelette with tomato onions and mushrooms, with salad and chips , a full English breakfast and a tea and a coffee for £18 , food came fresh and hot , Lovely staff and it is very very clean inside, definitely going back .”
“Sohaila gave me a fabulous haircut! She understood my requirements very well. I got long layers with face framing and a side fringe with round shape. The price is reasonable too. I will be visiting again and will recommend the salon to my friends.”
“I’ve lived at Slate Yard for the last 3 years and every minute has been a pleasure. The apartments are perfect- great location, clean and superb communal areas. The team at the front desk are special- always checking in with a friendly hello. At slate yard you really feel at home. I’m moving to London for work but will always have such fond memories at Slate Yard. Thank you everyone”
