“Thank you for the incredible food and excellent service at Shaam. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I couldn’t help but notice the same care and attention given to the dishes on other tables as well, all accompanied by a wonderful aroma. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make my birthday special by bringing out a slice of cake with a candle, creating a lovely atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to offer a variety of music, and we did notice a few bothersome flies from time to time.”

“Had the carvery. All the vegetables were lovely, perfectly cooked. Roasties would have been nicer with a fluffier type of potato. Roast beef beautiful. Perfect apple crumble with loads of custard. Lovely waitress and lovely manager from the Hesketh which closed down and is still missed.”

“The staff were so friendly, and very funny. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. A lovely place to bring my daughter, who happens to have the same name, for her 12th birthday. They made a fuss if her and made her feel really special. As her mum, I can't thank you guys enough.”

“This is one of the best restaurants i have been to. The staff is very respectful and nice, the food is amazing, fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself is very clean and i was very comfortable. I definitely recommend to go to this place as the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food. The way they serve the food also looks very nice for your instagram pictures.”

“I can’t thank this place enough! My car broke down on the motorway and I ended up just outside the restaurant. My phone was dead, and they kindly let me charge it inside. Parking is a big issue in the area because of a nearby concert, but they found a space for me and let me leave my car there overnight. They even gave me food while I waited — and Mr. Shah refused to take any money for it. I honestly can’t explain how grateful and happy I am. The kindness and generosity they showed me was incredible. Truly amazing people — thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

“Just visited for the second time today after a brilliant experience and food the first time. We walked in as advised as they were fully booked and managed to get a table. The food was delicious and they were great dealing with our fussy 4 year olds requests. We had the carbonara and a pizza and thoroughly enjoyed both. The decor is fab too and all the staff were fun and welcoming. We'll be back again!”

“Dining at Brasserie Blanc was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay at the Delta Hotel. From the moment we stepped inside, the beautifully designed interior transported us to a different world. The space is bathed in natural light, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and uplifting. Despite not having a reservation, the staff welcomed us with warmth and generosity, even seating us in what must be the best spot in the house. The customer service was nothing short of exceptional—genuine, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. The food was absolutely divine. We started with the Dressed Devon Crab and the Pan-Fried Sea Bream, both bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors and perfectly presented. Paired with a bottle of their delicious white wine, it was a meal to remember. So memorable, in fact, that we ended up enjoying a second bottle as we lingered over dessert. Speaking of dessert—what a treat! The Wye Valley Rhubarb Crumble was the perfect balance of tart and sweet, while the Pistachio Soufflé was light, airy, and full of flavor. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. Brasserie Blanc is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience we’ll fondly remember and gladly recommend. Can’t wait to return!”

“Very good atmosphere and service, didn’t get the blokes name that served us (had long hair) but he approached us first instead of waiting for us to order and also initiated conversation, overall very good healthy food at a fair price! I got the spinach and feta toasted baugette which was very good!”

“Really lovely place with great food! My husband order a burger and I ordered a burrito. Enjoyed the food and the price was reasonable. If there's an improvement maybe it would be nice to have a spiced rice instead of plain rice for the burrito as it watered down the taste but overall, we enjoyed the food. Husband said it was probably the best burger that he had in Manchester! The fries that we had was amazing too! We'd love to be back and try the other stuff in their menu.”

“We moved away from Didsbury about 5 years ago, so it was so nice coming back to our favourite brunch place and finding it still as good as (if not better than) before! Vast food and drink choices, and served with a smile. Hard to beat!”

“This is a lovely restaurant. Went on a Saturday night around 8pm and it was busy but not overly busy. Servers are attentive and food and drink was served quickly. The prices are very good for what you get. Added bonus is that you can take your own wine/drink in (I don’t drink however they do serve soft drinks) Food is well cooked and there’s lots of it to choose from. Went for a few small plates and a large main (Lamb Shawarma). Well worth a visit.”

“The food is absolutely fantastic ! The price is very affordable . This restaurant is run by a friendly family. Their sons help out in the restaurant with good manners. Once you arrive there , they immediately ask you what you want to eat and drink . Also , they have a large variety of food and drinks to choose from . “Our local and we’ve been eating here on a regular basis since the restaurant opened. Everything about Ego’s is excellent. The welcoming atmosphere, delicious food (particularly the kebabs!), attention to detail, friendly staff (Tracy our waitress is so lovely). We had garlic mushrooms / small gambas, chicken kebabs and pistachio pavlova. The only comment (apart from delicious of the first two courses) is that the pavlova lacked flavour. The ice cream tasted more of vanilla than cherry, there was an abundance of cream but just one or two cherries on top. We tried it because it was new but because the other tried and tested desserts are so yummy we’ll be reverting back to them in future. Only a small point though!”

Good portion sizes, well cooked and good value for money for this high quality. Range of traditional beers and larger. The usual spirits and wines. lovely surroundings and location. “What a lovely place to go. Garden with tepee gave such a good vibe. Grounds for kids so family more than welcome. Staff was wonderfully very kind, polite and served with a smile. Food was delicious and drinks were great.”

“Went today 10-1-2025 at 16:00. It was a team meal we are all gas engineers couldn't park in the car park as are vans height is 2.4meters and the car park limit is 2 metres so had to park on a dark road, really wasn't impressed, took the first picture of the back, well make your own mind up, the front entrance is a little dated but clean and warm, very welcoming staff, was shown to our designated table at the far side of the restaurant, 8 men ordered their food with impressive staff and knowledge, drinks came first with no wait, then the poppadoms came crispy and plenty of sauces, , 15 mins later the starters came, I had the garlic chicken, it looks great chicken was dry but kinda edible, all the lads ate theirs, to be honest think the starters are expensive and small in portion size, mains came I have a mixed tandoori sizzler looks a bit of all the same, a bit of a mishmash, but it was tasty and the curry sauce that it came with was ok, it's a messy dish but didn't get much for 18quid, the staff hovered around felt somewhat uncomfortable, so the meal finished all in all was ok, would I ask or want to go again definitely no, coming out to the main road as it was dark their are small floor metal 12 inches high barriers couldn't see them fell and made a mess of my knee going to off my legs for a few weeks now really not impressed if I could had parked in the car park this wouldn't have happened”

“Travel to hear a good 30 mins as has the best curry for us ..had bin a bit hit and miss lately, prices gone up too but generally would recommend. Can be a wait for order but that's a good sign as busy busy .”

“This was our first time here and it didn't disappoint. The welcome was warm & friendly, the service impeccable and the food was delicious. We were very hungry when we first arrived and left feeling very satisfied and happy with our whole experience. Our waitress, Katie, certainly deserves a mention as her smiley face and attentive service really made us feel welcome. I left my sunglasses there and got them back 5 days later. Would definitely recommend this place for so many reasons. We'll be back with other friends soon.”

“Felt really welcomed on entering the restaurant, staff were lovely and attentive. We were seated and asked for drinks and they were brought promptly. We ordered the lamb rump and the pork three ways, no starters as I noticed they offered a cheese board for dessert! Food was amazing so was the service. Highly recommend.”
